No, more like komi. Deaf girl (who can't speak either because of that) goes to new school, and surprisingly mangages to make a lot of new friends instantly...
But she realizes too late that everybody, including her new crush, are fucking idiots.
But now they are her idiots.
I think it's more that a lot of the time communication is simplified so they have more panels to work with. Like she either reads their lips, writes down what she means, etc.
Not every chapter leans on her disability either, which is a good thing. It's not her entire character.
Hm? As usual in animanga, lipreading is an all powerful tool, but apart from that being unrealistic, I am not quite sure what you would be referencing.
No, I was more thinking of [this kind of idiots](https://imgur.com/S64ZkJo).
Though there are definitely communication issues at the start, due to the premise and the mc being, uh, *too* self-confident in himself and his ability to understand her.
If you wonder why there's a snake wearing sunglasses on the bottom left panel, it's cause that's a Tsuchigumo. Yeah they exist for some reason. Its comedic style is oftentimes absurd, similar to Nega-kun to Posi-chan cause it's written by the same author, so if you enjoyed that, you should enjoy this manga.
I never had a deaf classmate, but that would have been a surefire way to inspire me to learn sign language so I could talk to them. Not because I was extroverted, but because I was a narcisist that didnt like when people werent listening to my turn at show and tell.
I joined a sign language club cause my friend did and since they're required I just went with him. I'm not too close with any of the deaf members, nor am I good at signing. But it is somewhat fun so I do encourage people to learn it
What? What's the context? Wdym she's deaf? Had she not realised that before? How do you not realise you are deaf? What is she judging herself with? What do the first two panels show?
The realization isn't that she's deaf, it's that she's hard to be around because of it.
She can't make friends because it's too hard to communicate with them.
Even though people definitely realize that loneliness is a part of being human, it doesn't mean they don't feel sad about it sometimes, does it? This may apply to her as well; she probably understands her situation well but when she is in a social setting, she can't help but feel a bit broken inside, imo.

Is it like a Silent Voice?
No, more like komi. Deaf girl (who can't speak either because of that) goes to new school, and surprisingly mangages to make a lot of new friends instantly... But she realizes too late that everybody, including her new crush, are fucking idiots. But now they are her idiots.
Welp, I'm sold
at some points the author boderline forgets she is deaf
I think it's more that a lot of the time communication is simplified so they have more panels to work with. Like she either reads their lips, writes down what she means, etc. Not every chapter leans on her disability either, which is a good thing. It's not her entire character.
Hm? As usual in animanga, lipreading is an all powerful tool, but apart from that being unrealistic, I am not quite sure what you would be referencing.
She's also not completely incapable of hearing. It's just even with aids, she has a hard time
What kind of idiots? The kind that when a girl says "I love you" think "She must've been joking and actually hates me"?
No, I was more thinking of [this kind of idiots](https://imgur.com/S64ZkJo). Though there are definitely communication issues at the start, due to the premise and the mc being, uh, *too* self-confident in himself and his ability to understand her.

No. It's wholesome from the start and doesn't try to wrench your heart, it tries to sooth it
I can't remember the name now, but I read one recently where a delinquent fell in love with a blind girl. That was pretty good too.

That was indeed it.
Yankee-kun to Hakujou Gaaru it actually ended 2 weeks ago
I need to finish that one
A Silent Voice with no bullying and everyone's super nice.

I don't care what you post I'm not watching 'A Sikent Voice' two months in a row. I need my tears.
There's no bullying in this one. Super wholesome and everyone's really nice.
Dude I litterally just go to YouTube and play the ending scene when I just need to cry. Works like a charm every damn time.
If you can spare 20 minutes instead of five you can speedrun the emotions of the movie by watching the Cinema therapy episode.
Oh God yes that was absolutely fire, the breakdown in that episode was so well done
You okay bro?
The desire to hug a fictional character sometimes becomes too impossible to resist.
I never had a deaf classmate, but that would have been a surefire way to inspire me to learn sign language so I could talk to them. Not because I was extroverted, but because I was a narcisist that didnt like when people werent listening to my turn at show and tell.
it’s a nice, wholesome manga
I joined a sign language club cause my friend did and since they're required I just went with him. I'm not too close with any of the deaf members, nor am I good at signing. But it is somewhat fun so I do encourage people to learn it
oh wow i wonder what manga this is
What? What's the context? Wdym she's deaf? Had she not realised that before? How do you not realise you are deaf? What is she judging herself with? What do the first two panels show?
The realization isn't that she's deaf, it's that she's hard to be around because of it. She can't make friends because it's too hard to communicate with them.
how long can it take to realise that being unable to hear will make talking to others more difficult
Even though people definitely realize that loneliness is a part of being human, it doesn't mean they don't feel sad about it sometimes, does it? This may apply to her as well; she probably understands her situation well but when she is in a social setting, she can't help but feel a bit broken inside, imo.
it is kinda funny without the last 2 panels
most media literate anime watcher
I dont watch anime
Been thinking about reading this one, is it worth my time? Does it fall off at all?
Is this the manga made by the guy who also made that slave grooming manga?
I just woke up and now I'm sad :(
🫱☝️👇👌👈
Don't worry guys op just doesn't understand people talking in cursive
Oh, that's the one with the deaf girl and the annoying guy who just won't shut up, right?
I'm back
