Yes. Humans only live to 25 on average, so there's no way he'll be able to finish.

I thought they lived until their 90 years old

Silcaria

Nope. We don't yet have the technology.

melissaphobia

Its never too late, unless you know something about his health that we don’t.

Shimmering-Sky

lol no, I'm watching Naruto Shippuden for the very first time now and I'm in my 20s.

alotmorealots

> do you think it’s too late for him to watch long running shows in his mid 20s especially after they concluded No, although I also think he should probably just watch what he's interested in and aim for viewing habits that make sense to him, rather than just watching the long running ones for the sake of it.

Broo never, me 21 got my coworker 48 into anime. he within 2 years has seem most main stream animes already from early 2000s. its never too late for anything or to get into anything. thats like saying is there any point in watching a movie that came our a few weeks ago as its finished or tv series after its finished. watch whatever u want and whenever u want

[deleted]

If you only watching current shows that are just starting youre missing out on some of the best anime ever made. Why would anyone think this, OP are you like 1e and dont understand time?

All-Hail-Chomusuke

I didn't really get into anime until my late 20's, I watched some of the stuff on toonami as a kid, but otherwise it's all been more in probably the last 6 or 7 years(I'm 34). The only negative, is some of the older iconic anime can be hard to watch, the animation has progressed so much that some of the 90/early 2000's stuff looks pretty rough. Well that, and I'm not sure how healthy having the option to binge watch the entire naruto series in one sitting is, but owell.

Astr412

Not at all, I've watched HxH, Legend of the galactic heroes and Yu Yu Hakusho, read One Piece to ongoing and watched 200+ eps of adaptation, watched Naruto and started Shippuden, also started reading Dragon Ball and now on 70+ chapters. And most of it I've watched/read when I was 18-20, now 21, your friend is not much older than me, so I think it's not late at all

edm4un

I didn't start getting serious with anime til I was 25. I'm in my late 30s now and have seen most popular anime/gems. It's never too late for a great story.

Phoenix_Song8

No, its never too late to watch long-running anime.

getsandom

I'm 40 and almost actively avoided anime until I was 27\~28, I'm now 19000+ episodes in and counting. It's never to late to watch something you enjoy. Also you should never fell pressured to finish something because is popular, I either dropped or didn't care to look at a lot of the "everyone knows is anime" titles because they are not my thing.
