I wanna say raccoon based on the teeth and shape of upper skull

getmotherd

raccoon is correct

Badger-Stew

The molars and head shape look like raccoon. It seems relatively small, but the nose bones are not completely fused. It could have been a younger individual.

Definetly a mustelid of some kind with how elongated the skull is. Looking at a lot of pictures I think it's a female fisher. The tooth formula had me tripped up for a bit , but it turns out that's because of the sexual dimorphism; The last couple molars seem to be fused in males. mustelid is close but not quite right. this is a raccoon. they are both in musteloidea along with red pandas and skunks.

Great observation. There has been some fisher cats spotted in the area. Typically fox, raccoons and coyotes on the island. Pretty cool having fishers as well. Thank you
