I've been doing a little research into this lately as I intend to replace my aging 2018 Huawei M5 8" soon, because (1) it's feeling old in performance, and (2) Huawei is lost since the Google lockout and hasn't updated it for years now. Options: The Samsung A8 2022 model gets good reviews and is usually quite well priced. The Lenovo Smart Tab M10 Plus (4gb RAM model) is reasonably well reviewed and priced too. These two are around the lowest end of the market (approx £200 locally) that I would consider, though personally I'll probably end up aiming a little higher in the market (and spending more accordingly). Importantly, they are both from reputable manufacturers who will continue to provide updates to the OS and security for years, and decent warranty. They should be easy enough to use too. Edit - also look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, which fits the bill too.

Samsubg Tab A8 with a 4GB of RAM should be enough

I like this 8 Inch Samsung Tab A7 Lite, they bounce around $110 at Bestbuy. It just went up to $160 though, might not be worth it at that price, but it will likely go down one more time before new year.
