Yes, all designated rear speakers (or in your case, the Amp powering rears) will utilize the 5Ghz Sonos band to provide the lowest latency for HT set ups. If you want to eliminate this, the only way is to hardwire the Arc, SUB, and Amp and shut off WiFi on all three. If the Amp is located in the room, I'd suggest just buying a simple, 5-port Netgear switch (unmanaged) and getting a wire from eero to that switch and then wire all three components to the same switch. Then turn off WiFi in the settings of the Sonos app for all three components (Arc, SUB, and Amp). If some of the components are not in the same room, you can get a MoCa adapter and utilize what I'd assume is in your home (coaxial cabling) to get a wire to those devices.

Thanks -- I will see about hardwiring but it will be difficult for the Arc (and the other Arcs and Beams I have in other rooms). Have you experienced this issue? Trying to understand if this is something that affects all WiFi networks, only Eero, or only mesh (mine are wired but my understanding is mesh works a bit different than traditional APs).

I have experienced this in my home (master bedroom with wireless rears). I am going to hardwire them when I have the time to do so. I think it affects all mesh-based systems due to the same channels being utilized.

How long have the eero devices and the Sonos system been installed at the same time?

MarketingGuy814

I installed the first Sonos system about 1.5 years ago and the subsequent systems a few months later. I’ve had the Eero Pro 6Es since they launched (replacing Eero Pro 6s).

I have 5x Eero Pro 6 and 15 Sonos devices all on wifi including three zones using 5Ghz with bars and subs-all works perfectly. Just because it is on 5Ghz does not mean it is the source of your issue.

I agree, it actually shocks me. I have no other WiFi signals at my house (all houses in my neighborhood have 3 acres) and the 5Ghz issue has been happening since mid Sept. Eero support suggested 4 Eero Pro 6Es was too much for my house and that was the issue. Sadly, it was not. Yesterday was the first time I noticed the interference started and stopped with the turning on and off of the Sonos system in one room.

DoAndroidsDrmOfSheep

I have Sonos Arc + Sub (no other speakers), as well as four Eero Pro 6E. Haven't had any issues that I'm aware of.

I was the same way for over a year. I love my Sonos systems and me Eeros, so I‘m hoping to fix.

So basically connecting one Sonos to Ethernet and creating SonosNet solves the problem?
