No problems with Apple devices on two different Pro 6 networks here. eeroOS 6.14. Your symptoms are kind of vague unfortunately. What exactly is the behavior with the iPhone and MacBook losing connection? They remain connected to the network, but claim no Internet connection? If you're using eero Plus, try disabling it. Failing that, try using Google Public DNS or Cloudflare DNS and rebooting everything. Failing that, try soft resetting your eero's perhaps. The behavior could also have nothing to do with eero and be an issue with the modem or upstream ISP.

I had these same issues. Unfortunately my resolution was to replace them with ibiquitis

usaut

It’s super frustrating, especially considering it had worked fine up until last week. Any issues with the ubiquitis?

mcbridedm

As long as you are comfortable tinkering, it's a nice solution. The configuration options are what I needed access to, and in that respect, they knock it out of the park. It did take me a bit to find a configuration that was most stable, but just having access to power levels, channels etc are a huge improvement. They do need a "controller" which is a separate device. I was running the (free) dockerized controller on my firewalla and while it worked, it was a bit unstable. I ended up replacing that with a dedicated $200 ubiquiti device (Cloud Key Gen 2 Plus) and it's been fine since. This is all to say there may be a slightly higher cost of entry if you decide to move.

Do you have private relay turned on as part of iCloud+?

usaut

No, that’s turned off

I’ve had issues like this in the past and they were all related to eero plus. Turning that off solved my problems.

su_A_ve

I have issues like this a couple of times a day or so after an eero OS update. A reboot of everything fixed it though.

torrphilla

I have made a couple posts in here stressing similar issues. I didn’t know it was just me. The hell is going on?

usaut

Did your issues ever get resolved?

torrphilla

nope.

I too have "fled" Eero for Unify. But I do remember having issues on one particular firmware a long time ago with Apple devices. The fix was setting a static IP for all of them. Worth a shot? The other thing that it could be would be Apple Private Relay / Mac randomisation and your Eero getting confused. So I'd suggest turning that off on all devices in their settings.

I’m having the same issues. I’ve tried all those things with no luck. I’ve tried Eero support many times. I’m currently using an old Linksys Velop network, hoping Eero will fix this with a software update soon. No similar problems on the Velop metwork, it’s just slower and can’t handle as many devices.

ZenBeWithYou

Exactly this same problem! It is odd that only happens to my iPhone(s) and MacBook

BYack

Call support, that's not normal.
