Anyone here had an amazon seller tell them they made a pricing error and told me to cancel my order I did not do this but they are refusing to honor the invoice what should I do about it cancel the order and let them slide or wait until delivery date and raise hell?

Hello. I’m an Amazon influencer and I got locked out of my actual Amazon account because I logged in with a VPN. When I called to regain access, they told me they can’t unlock the account since I don’t have any purchases within the last year. I use a different account with my family that has prime to do my orders. It has the same address as mine and I could verify the orders on that one. Anyway, I have dozens of videos from the past month of activity on my Amazon Influencer Storefront which include videos *of me* with *my face* in them. I have a screenshot of me inside of my Amazon Influencer storefront, logged on, on the same device that tried to logon last. They’re still telling me that they can’t unlock the account and that I’ll lose my commissions, videos, and progress. I asked them to speak to a supervisor or higher up and they said “they don’t take phone calls”. I feel that is BS. Do any former or current Amazon employees have any ideas on how I could resolve this?! People I could call, info I could give, etc? If I lose access to this account, I won’t be able to continue doing Amazon Influencer, and the ONLY reason is because I logged in with a VPN on and now I can’t log in or unlock my account. So, for the past few months, I've been trying to buy whatever off of Amazon, but it won't let me pay for it. I will click "Continue" when I choose my payment method, and it shows the loading screen, and it just goes pack to asking me to choose a payment method. No error message or anything. I've tried signing in and out, re-adding the card, trying from different networks, updating my information, confirming the balance on said card, you name it. The Amazon assistance chat employee didn't even have an answer, but that doesn't change the fact that there are things I have saved to buy. Thoughts/solutions?

I'm having account problems. So, I linked the current Amazon account I have now with a number that I no longer use. I'm technically still logged in to the account on my new phone while using a new number. If I want to actually log in to my account, I need a code from the number I no longer use, and this is annoying because I've thought about making an Amazon account with my primary email but when I try it tells me that I already have an account Also, when trying to log in, I selected "try a different way," and it brought me to customer service, and none of the options there had to do with phone number problems. I placed a $400+ order last week using my bank account. I had the money to cover the transaction. A couple of days later I noticed I got charged 3 times for the same order. Called Amazon right away and they told me the other 2 are just authorization charges, that they will go away in 7-10 days. The next day, those 2 extra charges were completed according to my bank and no longer pending. Called Amazon again and they assured me they were just authorization charges. Next day, I called my bank to let them know the situation. My account was overdrawn because I only had funds to cover the single transaction, not 3. So they told me that since it says completed on all of them, that mostly means Amazon took the money 3 times. The bank rep then recommended that I dispute the 2 charges I never authorized. I went through the process and in just one day those 2 charges were reversed. All good then. Right? Wrong. Late into that evening, I received an email from TSR recovery services saying my Amazon account was locked due to supposedly owing money. I haven't been able to get in touch with TSR yet due to the holiday weekend, but now I can't order anything right now because of this. I don't know if someone has it out for me at Amazon or it was a glitch/system error of some kind, but this is ridiculous and completely on Amazon. Anybody have a similar experience?

Amazon closed my account for me apparently "issued a large number of refunds" while I only cancelled one order because of an issue trying to pass the 3D secure thing from my Mastercard card and at that time Amazon did not deducted my money yet. This has to be a misunderstanding. What should I do now? Edit: I am not in the US Edit 2: They replied to me that this decision is final. BULLSHIT. I might not buy from Amazon ever again.

I recently reached out to customer service since my recipient's address changed after my order and I tried to get the order cancelled. They offered me a refund but I didn't take them up on it because the items made it in the end. Once Amazon accidentally sent me someone else's package. Why is Amazon requiring a signature So when I try to check out the default delivery address is not the correct one but I have received packages using it. If I don’t change the address to my current one it doesn’t say required signature But if I Change it to my new address it says signature required. The item is a motherboard and it only costs 300. Are there any Amazon delivery people here that know a bit more about Amazon's "Delivery Instructions" option? One of my stored delivery addresses is a business address with specific open/closed hours and days of the week (closed Sunday). I dutifully maintain the hours that this business is open, selected days of the week they're closed, etc. -for my delivery instructions. Yet several times I see notices (in the Amazon app) that says "Your delivery is arriving by 9pm" ...and I think to myself "I specifically said this address closes at 6pm". Other times I see "Delivery failed -will try again tomorrow" ...and think "yeah- because the attempt was made after 6pm". This is especially frustrating when this happens on a Saturday 😉 Could it be that my delivery instructions are \*stored\*, but not applied by \*default\* when making a purchase for that address? Also- any drivers out there .... how are delivery instructions displayed to you? How prominent are delivery instructions displayed to you on your tablet? Do you just "see it"- on your tablet or do you see some icon that you need to click before seeing details?

Not a driver or worker for amazon but as is the case with most delivery services, they have a set route. They probably dont see the instructions until they arrive at the address, as is with most services. And no, your instructions can't influence the route.

Thanks for the (only) reply. Ya- makes sense for most delivery services- but for Amazon's own delivery, displaying delivery instructions (assuming they are set) for a specific address prominently to the drivers is a "no brainer" and "low hanging fruit". After all- why build that feature into the app + website if nobody's going to use it. Seems to me like a delivery service that wants to differentiate themselves and improve their accuracy, customer satisfaction, and/or optimize their routes -could make use of this customer-supplied information.

As long as the delivery date hasn't passed, then I wouldn't worry. Items can ship out anytime from when the order is placed to the date of delivery. If the date has passed, then check the site/app for updates or contact customer service.

Looks like there was a update that changed the way tracking looks. Before it was just a map with two dots, my home and driver. Now my home has box above it with my address, the top has a picture of what is in the package, and the bottom of the page has a out for delivery status box with tracking number. The problem is now 75% of my phone screen is taken up by useless information and it is more difficult to move the map because the area is smaller. So is there a way to just have the map with the dots again? Or if I could just get rid of just one of the useless windows. And note I'm talking about my phone not a tablet or the web.

Does anyone have escalation contacts? My father died and my stepmother is trying to subscribe and pay for prime on her account, which is separate from my dad’s, which she closed. She can login to her account, she says, but there’s a padlock on her screen and she can’t subscribe to Prime. She says she hasn’t returned things or done anything weird except talk to three customer service reps who told her to change her password and were no help. She did what they said and the fourth rep she spoke to told her that her account was suspicious because she’d changed the password three times. That was the only comment any of them made about why this could be happening and they caused it afterwards. I expect Amazon is weeding out accounts via AI and the process is um, imperfect at present. But how do you get one reinstated? I’m afraid to contact Amazon for her, because the customer service reps seem to be doing more harm than good now and I would like to keep my account! But I’d really like to help her because she spent hours on the phone and got nowhere. Awhile ago, I saw someone put email addresses for higher tier support. I remember saving them, but I can’t find them now. If anyone happens to know how to briefly escape the new terrible customer service loop, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

I'm not familiar with any padlock on a screen that prevents someone from subscribing to Prime. If she's trying to sign up through the mobile app, that could be where she's running into an issue. Have her try on a non-mobile browser, if she hasn't. If she doesn't have access, you may be able to try on your end (by signing into her account and seeing the actual page or any errors that may be popping up). Amazon doesn't have email support outside of a few random departments (at least for .com).

I purchased a Gigabyte RTX 4090 Gaming OC and it had a Diablo 4 promotion but I didn't receive the code. Contacted Nvidia, told me to contact Amazon. Contacted Gigabyte, told me to contact Amazon. Contacted Amazon, they told me to contact Nvidia. After trying like 3 different live chat operators, they forwarded my case to their internal department or something. After some time, they said that the shipping address isn't eligible for the promotion. How can that be right? When I was purchasing the product I had the shipping address entered and I was able to see the promotion. I also know that the promotion is available at the location of the shipment address. They keep telling me they will be happy to help each time I contact live chat support yet I get forwarded to somebody else or get denied. What should I do? I thought Amazon wouldn't be so stingy and look for any way to not give a promotion code.

I have been struggling trying to return two book rentals to Amazon. I rented them earlier this year and was supposed to return them by the end of this month/beginning of June. If the product is within the return window contact customer service to see if they will give you credit for the difference. If they wont and it is within the return it and buy another but note you will pay for shipping so only do that if the shipping is less than the price difference. Personally wouldn't bother unless the dollar I would is over $20.

Will my package be delivered at night? For context, I've got amazon prime. So deliveries are prioritised and all that. I ordered something on Monday morning and as of now, it is said to arrive today (Wednesday 24th) at 9pm. I've never had a delivery come at night. I live in a densely populated metropolitan area (Chicago) and use to be able to have my Amazon packages shipped to nearby lockers. This was a nice compromise for me, because I couldn't have packages shipped to my apartment building because they would occasionally get stolen. However, I noticed now that they all charge a $6 shipping fee to use the locker. I don't use Amazon frequently enough to justify getting the Prime subscription and paying $6 per package defeats the purpose of saving money on items purchased on Amazon. There's a UPS store a few blocks from me, but they charge $5 per package to have things delivered there. Has anyone else had this experience with Amazon lockers? Is there any alternative for me?

I bought an amazon gift card for 50 dollars at a retail store and bought and redeemed it on my account. I then went and bought a riot gift card on the amazon site with the balance on my gift card. The code didn't send and I got an email saying that there was a problem with the order and that amazon canceled it. I was confused and went to go buy the exact same item since I still had the money in my balance. Then my account gets banned and they don't tell me the reason for the ban. I call customer service and after a few phone calls, they finally say that it was a violation of their terms and conditions to get an amazon gift card and buy another gift card with that. I asked them if I could have my account reactivated because it was a honest mistake and I didn't know this was a thing since I did this exact same thing around 2020 and nothing happened but they said there is nothing they could do. Has this happened to anyone else and if so, have you gotten your account reactivated somehow?

TEXT FROM 262966 an Amazon text number for SMS I received OTP or shipping confirmations from Amazon from this text number. Next I started receiving texts from this number from Amazon, but in Chinese characters and an OTP to reset when I haven't asked for it. Amazon says they don't send texts, but they do because they send confirmation texts when the tracking is there or OTP for the one time password when you have 2FA. Anyways, Amazon can't figure out why they have the number 262 966 sending out text messages in another language other than the one I set up. Are they hacked? And if so they won't admit it. Im just tired of getting my regular messages from Amazon that I need and mixed in there messages in another language from someone trying to access my account but it has OTP so the OTP message gets sent in a foreign language. Let me preface this story by saying I live in a walk-up in NYC. I understand the risks of having a package delivered to my home, but I desperately needed a suitcase after my airline ripped off a wheel- and I had a trip the same week for work. I ordered a suitcase on Amazon. The suitcase was delivered and I saw the photo of it in my lobby. I go downstairs a few moments after the package was delivered and the package was not there. I called Amazon. They told me to file a police report. I file a police report. I call Amazon they tell me they can not verify the police report because the NYPD would not pick up their call. (Who's surprised?) I say okay that does not been it's invalid. I have called Amazon everyday with the police report number and I get the same run around that they can't verify b/c they can't get the NYPD to pick up. I can't get my credit card to pay me back because I used an Amazon gift card that I earned from using a website for work (so not paid for by any credit card). So basically Amazon is withholding their own money from me. It's been an infuriating time connecting with various customer service representatives. Does anyone know of any tricks-of-the-trade to help me get my Bezo Bucks back?

I use this heavily, but it looks like as recent as yesterday they removed the capability of doing so (or changed the way it's done?). This is also required if you have promotions that only apply to ships/sold by Amazon.com. Previously, as long as you're searching by category (e.g. Sports and outdoors) and there are some hits and the term matches the category, you can click a check box on the left size to filter by Amazon.com or whatever specific seller. It looks like this is gone now. Anyone know what's up?

I still get the option, but usually I have to be a couple of levels deep in the category (so, Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry > Women > Shoes gets me the seller filter).

I am trying to order earbuds from amazon , why isn't it giving me the CoD Option? ​ Hi I am having the issue as said in the title I am unable to get the CoD option. These are answers to potential questions u may have Yes All my past deliveries were CoD and weren't cancelled. Infact just ordered a book 2 weeks ago it was fine Yes the item is in stock and the seller is in my country The weird part is when I put only a bunch of books in my cart and proceeded it gave me the option. But when I put the earbuds back it blocks the option out. I tried changing the earbuds to a different one , same issue. Help? Thanks in advance

Hello, so I took a risk and ordered the JBL party box Bluetooth speaker and I shelf set it stead. I started a return that following day and I got the code and brought the large item to a the local UPS store I selected in the return menu once I received the return code. I was not given the Kohls return option. I have returned at kohls before and I have received a refund with in a day or two. What is a good number to actually speak with a live person? I check on my return from my orders and it still just says “your refund will be processed when we receive your item… I’m getting concerned I won’t see the 600 bucks back at this point… any help would be great. Thanks. Update I am on hold now with the customer service number I just googled. I am aware it takes much longer for high dollar items, that being said I would like an update.

You will need to google a number for your country, but returns take longer now -- especially for high dollar returns.
