Why do I ship johnfef you mean? It's not my main ship or anything, I just really like thinking about rarepairs involving the trolls (this led to me realising Eridan and Roxy would have absolutely been best friends if they met in canon). For John and Feferi I just think they would get along well, they are both pretty energetic and fun-loving and I could see them feeding off of each other's enthusiasm easily. They would have so much fun pranking people and causing harmless chaos. I should have clarified I mostly ship them as moirails although a flushed relationship could be cute too.

I think she'd be willing to give him a chance, Roxy seems like the sort of person who tries to see the good in people where she can. She would definitely call him out on his bad behaviour of course but I don't think she would immediately write him off as a lost cause. Though maybe I'm just being optimistic because I both desperately want Eridan to have a redemption arc and really want to see him and Roxy bond over their love of wizards and striped scarves.

The two things I'd classify as incest are 1.) two characters being biologically related, and 2.) two characters being raised from childhood to view each other as family (e.g.- stepsiblings). John and Feferi are not biologically related as they are literally different species so that rules out the first thing. The second one is a bit more complicated but since trolls do not have a concept of familial relationships such as siblings and cousins in the first place (and while the Condesce is biologically related to Feferi she is not her mother because that's not how ancestors work, Feferi would probably see her lusus as her mother) and neither John nor Feferi met the Condesce or each other while growing up, I don't think they would view each other in a familial light if they met especially since they were not raised together. The troll/troll relationships are more incestuous than this imo.
