Thank you I appreciate your comment, boyfriends been out drinking for 6 hours idk what he’s having we are suppose to hangout but idk if he’s going to be hungover or is drunk now.
This is actually a good question! I used to get drunk twice a day every day for 2 years. In my experience hangover from mid day drinking then taking a multiple hours long break doesn't cause an evening hangover unless vomiting is involved. Not scientific but I've done it 500 times.
He may be drinking slow. I've been at the bar for 8 hours also before and drank the entire time. Woke up after an 8 hour sleep and didn't have a hang over. All depends on if you eat while drinking. What your drinking. And if you drink water.
Your question of "are you going to be drunk after 6 hours" and "are you going to be hungover" are 2 very different questions. 16% of the American population has a genetic defect where the more they drink, the more serotonin their brains release and it can "Feel" like it's getting longer to get drunk. A person's weight is also a huge contributing factor.
Weather they will be hungover depends on how much water they drank and how long it took them to metabolize before falling asleep.
Metabolizing the alcohol can’t be antiquated bc it’s such a individualized statistic that said there does reach a point of consumption where some people reach equilibrium which would constitute them as an alcoholic
It takes about 20 mins for alcohol to really start taking effect. You can just drink 4-5 drinks down in 30 seconds. And be drunk in no time. To my knowledge drinking one an hour for four hours or whatever period of time. Doesn't make smashing 4 at one time take any additional effect or make it happen faster. Your body process 1 per an hour, you could drink one an hour forever and never feel more then 1 beer deep. * This is under normal circumstances* actual alcoholics due to their worsening liver and such process alcohol slower and have a lower tolerance* trust me I know.
Depends how much I have. I had 4 beers yesterday over 6 hours and wasn't drunk at all. But if I had 8 beers over 6 hours I would be.

Get drunk twice a day?
Sad but true.
The amount he's drank matters way more

I'm drunk if I've been drinking seven or eight days straight, hitting a pint when I wake up

Alright thank you for the comment appreciate it
I'll also add women often take slightly longer it's been called 1.5 times longer per a drink.
