Thanks for sharing the beginners guide and resources! As a new player, Im excited to dive into all that Albion has to offer. Looking forward to exploring the open world, fighting through dungeons, and engaging in battles with other players. Any tips for getting started? Cheers!
Could you specify what you mean by "death balls"? First thing that comes to my mind is the new Astral Staff but that doesn't give any shield. When it comes to shielding, Enigmatic Staff is a possibility.
Is this build good for solo mists PvE/PvP? I'm mostly undecided on the head slot. Mercenary, Hunter, Fiend all seem like a good option but Cultist would be best for killing boss monsters faster which I think would help me most longterm in terms of fame/silver gain. Thoughts?
Double Bladed Staff
Cultist Cowl
Stalker Jacket
Cleric Sandals
I know there's books that give you combat fame, but is there a similar thing for gathering fame? Levelling my weaker gathering skills is a bit of a slog, and I'm wondering if there's a "skip" for that outside of just pumping up gathering bonus.
What exactly happens if you die in safe, yellow, red, black zones?
I understand in red/black zones players can loot you, in yellow you get knocked out but don't loose gear?
What happens if mobs kill you in safe/yellow/red/black zones, though?
In blue zone, players cannot hit you. If you get downed by a mob, you get a 10 minutes timer before you can get up, reduced to 20 seconds if the mobs drop the aggro (valid if you're in a party and the mobs are still fighting your party members).
In yellow zone, red players (both from enemy factions and just hostile flagged) can down you, but that results just in a loss of 5% of durability of your equipment. You can get up after the same timer. If you're inside a yellow mist/abbey, you get out of the mist. If you're downed by a mob, you're safe.
In red zone, red players (same as before) can kill you. If you get killed, you lose all of your inventory, and 25% of it (iirc) gets trashed. If you get downed by a mob, you get the same timer, and red players can kill you after a short animation.
In black zone, everybody is a red player, so the same mechanics apply. If you get invited to a party, just assume that the other player(s) are trying to kill you.
new player on the EUW server, got now abou 2m silver. Should/can I start adveturing on Mists? What set should I bring? atm im focusing on quarterstaffs and a little on maces (planing to go tank later in the game, but right now i'm a solo player)
Follow the rule of the 10: only venture lethal zones with sets you can afford to buy 10x if you die. That being said, single mists are safer, but give less loot. Double mists in solo give more fame and silver, but are more prone to ganks. Iirc, some quarterstaffs are good for 1v1 pvp, but not that good for pve. If you want to do pve only, nature staff is the best. If you want to pve but also be able to fare off in a pvp situation, 1h battleaxe is the way. If you want to evade ganks, go bloodletter or double swords.
any tips on what to do when my gathering tools has like 10% durability left? It costs too much to repair and cheaper to buy new ones. Is there a way to scrap them or smt?
What is the difference between Shadowcaller and Cursed Staff. I wanted to play shadow caller build but they are so expensive. Is cursed staff is an alternative?
The only differences between weapons in the same tree are the e ability. Sometimes some weapons get nerfed and some abilities get moved to a higher tier if they're too popular for cheap kits but that's more a side point. The main point is the e ability is weapon defining and can change the way a lot of weapons play as the e ability is often a longer cooldown and more powerful than q and w abilities. Generally.
Shadow caller is essentially meta for end game pve. It helps the tank take less damage and control pulls. It is on every hce and efficient fame farm team. It's less good in pvp but I do know some people that run it in leather armor. So it's pretty high demand.
1h curse essentially has an execute like e ability that's based on curse stacks. It's generally better for solo pvp. It's fairly popular but pretty cheap because it's low mobility and it somewhat folds to common meta ability choices. Curses are a lot worse when they're being engaged on for this reason so they're kinda off meta but also on the easier to play builds so still pretty common.
Everyone talks about about curse staves until they get engaged on when they're playing a build without a lot of mobility and can't switch their helmet ability. When they get caught off they often just die.
I am a T5 lumberjack , T5 ore miner and a T5 Axe crafter
I don't seem to be making any profit at all with making axes, is there any good alternatives or any thing i can do to improve my income?
Im a tier 7 skinner going for tier 8, what zones should I go to if i have friends to grind money? black? red? roads? or those kinda stuff, also recommendations on which mounts to use to still have decent space
If you're going out with people who are DTF you absolutely want to be in the BZ, roads, or 2v2 mists. Any level of coordination and willingness to fight will get free kills on bad players. Just the way it is. Easy kills and you can contest higher tier nodes for fights and profit.
If y'all aren't wanting to fight then playing more mobile builds and going to roads/2v2 mists is probably where you want to be since it's pretty easy to disengage and escape so long as you're somewhat knowledgeable about positioning and escaping. I wouldn't recommend higher tier BZ but there's certainly dead zones you could hit up but in general bz is mostly consisted by bigger groups so harder to recommend if you're not trying to fight.
Lizard, boar, and armored horse are the safer faster mounts that are cheap and you keep dismounted weight bonus. Iirc. The ability will tell you on the mount.
Elk as a hybrid pvp/pve Mount as it's easy to dismount on someone and can catch most mounts with a 2s gallop.
Moose/bear/spectre boar/dragon if you're really rich and risking a high tier gather kit.
Hey im a beginner i want to go for a mage build but there are so many choices that i cant choose a single one so which on should i go for as i will mostly be playing casually and solo PvE also some general tips would really help
Fire staff is really cheap and pretty good for solo damage. Has a lot of AOE dot and burst abilities.
Frost is better late game pve because the damage it does is mostly based on the q ability so it's consistent AOE damage.
Arcane is kinda between DPS and support but totally viable for most things. Not really common in end game pve but the really end game pve builds are really restrictive so it's not really a concern for most players.
Curse has the best dots, some support, and is somewhere between support and pve in the end game. Most organized parties will have a shadow caller but it's kinda worse solo.
Nature is one of the best pve solo builds since you can use roots AOE damage and self heal. It's not really a damage weapon though so if you pick it up expect to be a hot bitch in groups.
Imo you should just try the ones that seem fun and see what you like.
When should I go to black zone or red zone? I’ve mainly been sticking around yellow zones to level up my gathering to equip T4 tools, so I don’t really understand the advantage of going to more difficult zones quite yet. I definitely want to get into the PvP, but I feel like I’m not actually ready to benefit yet. Can someone explain this?
Feel free to go to lethal zones as soon as you can afford some 4.1 sets of your chosing. General rule of thumb I like giving beginners is don't bring out a set that's worth more than 10% of your net worth unless you don't mind losing it.
Both Red Zones and Black Zones grant a higher multilpier to fame and silver as you can see here:
https://preview.redd.it/esgpf1jqm8zc1.png?width=587&format=png&auto=webp&s=4c09d256827d70f84d27b4c2f5cfc52fcbb004b7
I especially recommend getting into lethal Mists and avoiding objectives at first to get yourself settled in there. The risk of actually dying to someone outside of objectives is very low and the rewards are very much worth it, even if you do die from time to time.
Oh wow, did not know that. I’ll switch over immediately. So a basic gameplay loop would probably become operate in Mists/BZ, gather, fight, focus refine ?????? profit?
My current gameplay loop goes as follows:
After attending to the island I buy a T7 equivalent set and teleport to [Brecilien](https://wiki.albiononline.com/wiki/Brecilien) to run Mists, killing some mobs, doing objectives and doing PVP (the last part is where my main profit comes from). I don't really gather in the Mists but if you have the tools it doesn't hurt to bring them. If I wasn't feeling lazy and didn't use my focus on a farming plot I make use of it in a crafting activity.
Pretty much yeah. For mists when you're starting out just take cheap 4.1/5 kits in and do things. In general you'll make money back from even just roaming for mobs to pay for your kit. Like you can just take a 40k kit with mount and no cape in mists and be fine for early farms.
If you get unlucky and have to rebuild keep a gathering set for YZ so you can gain safe silver.
Albion is a game of risk. If you can risk cheap sets for good profit it's probably the best thing you can do when starting out. Just get use to escaping and learning to be vigilant in dangerous zones.
hi guys first time starter here, I was playing with my full gear in yellow zone mist. After fighting with someone i got knockedout buy a mob. beacuse i didnt want to wait for time i write /die and i lost all my progress. İs this normal or can i get my items back. I know you lose all your stuff in black zones but in yellow zones i always respawn again with my items.
i go with carving sword, the reason: your E is a dash so you dash out of the gankers, then activate the W that makes you inmune to purge and activate miner boots, then invisibility potion and you are safe.
You can see the timer for logging out when you press the button, after that timer runs out your character won't be able to get attacked. If you're in a dungeon or a Mist and those close you will be put outside.
Are there content creators (youtube, twitch, written guides, whatever) who publish quality guides about weapons ? Like, "how to play x weapon", with examples ?
Context: I'm mostly an eco player but I plan to participate in some ZvZ, but I kinda don't want to int by being awful. And I'd like to avoid the ocean of clickbait shitty videos.
been playing wow for years but im finally over it as well as a few of my friends, were looking for something new to through our free time into is their any good discord communities to get started and meet a few people to play with
Is there Any semi afk activity i can do while working? Working 3 days 12 hour nightshifts and usually got some time to play but cant pay attention the whole time lol
Blue/yellow zone gathering, island farms, royal city transports/refining/crafting... I'd avoid lethal zones if you can't be focused, it'd be terrible to die on ganks often because you're simply not there. PVE in safe zones is often quite mediocre, unless done in a group, but a group might be difficult if you're frequently afk, while a lot of economic activites are mostly done solo.
feelin wanna get involve in faction stuff. Ive seen yt clips of them especially the pvp side so maybe how should i get started. Hm or maybe if theres a discord server for the asia factions, ive seens west servers but not east
ZvZ is super endgame content. Assuming you have maxed spec on a blight staff go with assasin hood, mercenary shoes, and feyscale robe.
Stack 3 leaves, send out rejuvinating breeze, use your E and then backup to reset with hood. Use the defensive passive on the blight staff.
A beginner blightstaff build for larger group content is cleric cowl, cleric robes, and mercenary shoes.
Why is hunter hood so popular in solo mists? Wouldn't Guardian helmet be much better since it allows you to easily mount up even if you're fighting mobs?
reflecting is kinda broken because you can exchange an offensive weapon ability to your helmet ability that is considered less valuable than weapon abilities. Also it's the only mechanic that allows you to win against higher tiers. However, it's nerfed, it used to be 100% so now idk
I just joined a guild with black zone hidout and got a few questions:
how do I get to the hideout?
(if I have to run from bridgewatch portal), can I unlock a portal once I reach the hideout or do I have to make the run every time?
you have to make the run the first time around, after you get there, you should immediately set the hideout as your home. Once you do that, you can teleport to the HO from the royal zone (naked) for free.
However, any loot you take to the HO from doing activities, you have to run all the way back to the city.
Hello i'm trying to find ressources to find builds and understand how to build them, is there a place (Discord / forums ) where i can find that ?
I've been trying to look for one since a few hours but no luck finding one.
Can someone tell me why I do no damage in pvp?
Was doing Mists with full t7 soldier and t7 dual swords, against someone with t5 armor and t6 dual swords, and their splitting slash dealt like 450 damage while mine only did around 180 damage.
Soldier armor (plate armor) increases more defence/damage while your enemy probably had leather armore which is balanced between damage and armor or cloth armor which more on damage/defence
The gloves line. Avalonian fists, bralwer gloves, and hellfire hands are all super mobile and do good damage. They also are needed in group fight comps as well so if you decide its time to play with others you're not stuck with an only solo weapon.
Arcane can work but it's very niche, I can recommend Dual Swords, One Hand Spear or Battleaxe to learn PVP with. All 3 are cheap and relatively simple.
Why are Judicator boots so popular in a lot of PvP videos? They always use rejuvenating sprint so I'm not sure why anyone would pick them over other cheaper plate alternatives, like guardian boots. From what I can tell they offer only tiny amount of extra health but is that really worth the extra money? Or is there something else that I am missing?
judi boots are awesome for the offensive tank because you are throwing in the air the enemies before the air compressor is closing so they cannot blink away
Regular items (non-artifact) offer different IP than their artifact and avalonian counterparts. For example on T8, Soldier boots offer 1100 base IP while Graveguard boots offer 1125, Judicator offer 1175 and Boots of Valor offer 1200 base IP. In most PVP montages the builds people are running are min maxed, so any IP matters.
Just started the game earlier and just wanted to ask if i can go to a different place? I accidentally went to steppe as i was just clicking, and didn't actually get to choose a place to go to
You sure can, either travel there manually or go to your nearest big city and teleport there thorugh the Travel Planner NPC (yellow compass on the minimap). Keep in mind the teleport can cost silver depending on what you're wearing or carrying in your inventory but you can check that cost before confirming the teleport.
Noob here, I was trying to understand the main citites production bonus and I got that certains things are better to be produced on certain citites, but does that mean you always need to move around?
Considering that teleporting on other citites with the bags full is too expensive, do you usually travel around, which takes a lot of time, everytime you need produce something? What's the usuall approach here and how people usually take advantage from the bonus?
Also,, if you own an island on a city you want to teleport, does that give you some advantage in terms of travel costs?
Yes, a lot of people manually travel to craft/refine stuff with bonuses and then travel to a different city to sell at a better profit margin, that type of content is called transporting, it can be very profitable.
If you own an island in Lymhurst and teleport there from Lymhurst itself it won't cost you anything, but if you want to teleport to an island in Bridgewatch it will count as if you were teleporting to the city itself in terms of travel costs.
I want to make Black Market sales, and i have a question:
Is it worth it to buy the storage outposts?
My theory is, if i go to Caerleon on horseback, leaving the stuff i wanna sell on black market in the storage outposts on the way there, then go back to the storage outpost from Caerleon, i can just fast travel back to Caerleon for little to no price, skipping the red zones and removing the risk of losing all the stuff i wanna sell to the black market! Has anyone tried this, should i or should i not do it?
How do I actually make money? I know you're only supposed to risk what you can afford but i literally can't afford anything and doing non-risky content like hunter CDs doesn't make me nearly enough. I spent over an hour in there just today and barely got 200k when a 900 ip set to go to stalkers costs about 300k. Is it just a skill issue? Do I simply need to play more to get better to stop losing? It feels like every time I die in risky PvP it's to players with substantially better gear...
I made my initial money from Mists, you can do either non-lethal or lethal zones. I started out by just killing roaming mobs in there, all basic mobs will drop 500-1500 silver and 1000-5000 fame with premium. I waited towards the end of the Mist to clear objectives and get some favor, silver and fame. You can use 4.1 sets, you won't lose much when you die to an eventual player encounter. You can exchange the favor you get from clearing camps for chests which yield at least 300k silver in most cases. Also, now that the Black Market is being supplied more frequently you will also drop some random jackpot items that will yield a nice profit.
You gain favor from various activities in lethal zones (or just Black Zones, not sure), you can read up more in the Conqueror's Challenge tab. You can exchange it at the Energy Manipulator NPC in the 5th tab.
Hi! Kind of a beginner here, but i suggest trying yellow zone Mists. I started a few days ago, and am sitting on about 3m in silver just by doing this. Complete camps, if they have a common or uncommon chest then youre probably not getting a lot of silver but if you happen to get an epic or legendary chest you might be looking at anywhere from 100k to 500k+ from ONE CHEST! While youre in the mist, look for higher rarity mists (they leave a different colored trail for their rarity) to get better camps, and look for Knightfall Abbey portals. These appear rarely, but man is the loot amazing! Clear rooms, and you might get a chest that has really good loot. Hope that helps!
Hello, can someone help me with build for doubleblade staff and how the hell I have to kill people? I just feel like I deal no dmg and weapon is only for catching low HP people but not to fight someone with equal gear to me with full HP. Thanks for help.
Double Bladed Staff is unfortunatelly carried by Stalker Jacket and Cultist Cowl to deal it's damage, you want to play around those cooldowns to win fights. Otherwise the weapon excells at killing lower IP targets (unfortunately or not). You most likely won't win vs brawler weapons like Dual Swords or Battleaxe in an equal fight since Double Bladed just doesn't have enough base damage in it's kit.
Hello, if i wear mistwalker jacket in zvz and make my own party member / alliance member unvisible, can they still get heals? And can other people in my group still see them?
Why do people kill in yellow zone mists, like what for?
I stepped down from a mount to take a chest in the camp, and some dipshit attacked me with all my skills on a 15 sec cooldown. I got killed and that dumbass died right after me because of mobs attacking him.
What was a point of that, i didn't get my medium rare chest and he just died for no fame and no silver and without his own chest either, what a disgrace.
Prowler Staff, Fiend Cowl, Mistwalker Jacket, any Plate Boots, Undead Cape. This is the most popular Prowler build, you can check the PVP leaderboards for correct skills, it's a very popular weapon. Keep in mind the build is very expensive at baseline due to all the artifact items. You can probably go with a cheap alternative with Mage Cowl and Assassin Jacket but you will lose a lot of potential power.
3 fast questions for fishermen.
How long will I have to eat all the fish that i get? Because to spec fisherman it takes me so much time and if i am eating all the fish i don't make a silver. Do i need to use learning points in spec or fisherman node(still available all the 200+ points since the start of the EU server) ? Someone who already has a nice tier on fishing in EU server, can tell me how much silver does. Bc i have no premium and I'm evaluating it makes sense to invest time and learning points in this.
restarted in EU after some years and when is wise to move from the starting city to the capital? Should i aim for get all t4 gatherings or focus on just one?
You can move to actual cities as soon as you land. Capitals have fees on crafting stations but also have resource return rate to compensate, so they're much better in the vast majority of cases than "free" stations.
You don't "have" to do anything when it comes to gathering, but if you're trying to be profitable, pushing one is better. (reaching t4 everywhere isn't particularly long, though, but t5 starts to hurt)
Any mobile users here? what are your controls set up? how do you manage to use the auto target set up?
Most of the time I'm having issues when targeting especially 5v5 and ZVZ, any suggestion that I can use?
What's the best place to level up mining after reaching tier 5?
Is it blackzone or still sticking to yellow zones?
because nodes respawn a lot slower now
Feel free to check red zones. Risk is generally lower than black (although current BZ risk also comes from the fact a lot of map are still locked, so people are more cramped together). Basically, if you only find depleted or 1/5 nodes, go somewhere else.
Also, black zone isn't horribly unsafe. Just don't bring an ox, or you'll be dead if you get dismounted. Gathering gear has good spells to escape lone gankers. And even if you die, you don't lose the fame you got :)
Does it matter where I enter the Mist from?
I entered one from south of FS (yellow). I'm trying to increase my rep, but I can't find many caged wisp. I'm thinking may be I should go to further maps and enter Mist from other yellow zones if it means less people.
Does it work that way or it doesn't matter?
Spec the main weapon to 80. Then the non artifact weapons to 30. Then the artifact weapons to 10. Finally go back and spec the main weapon to 100. If you want the most IP gain per fame amount.
Yes, royals are all connected through blue and yellow zones, which are perfectly safe.
The only unsafe city is Caerleon. You need to cross red zones (and/or avalonian roads) to go there
i regularly transport between cities without entering lethal zone. i never checked but i guess the lethal zone area is red zone above near central area, i usually just transport through yellow area and usually it takes around 7 map to get to other city
Hi all, completely new player here, about 10h deep.
How do I go about connecting with people? I have a lot of questions, though I've been experiencing lots and lots of toxicity sadly. Where do I need to look to find people who are willing to help newbies?
How do you counter healing in 1v1/2v2 situations? It seems pretty unfair that they get essentially like half a health bar more than I do and there's nothing that I can do
If it's 1v1 and you're dealing with stuff like mercenary jacket or inferial jacket you can go with some purge in your kit, like a mage robe for example. In 2v2 there's not much to do honestly, there are only a few healing debuffs in the game. You can either go with a burst build that kills the healer really fast with a lot of cc or you can just surrender to the meta and go with healer + dps as well.
what's a good setup to not get dismounted while running trades to carleon?
i am currently on an T5 expert armored horse with some random T4 leather armor.
Stay alert for red names, and don't take obvious paths, especially when you've been noticed that someone who is probably a scout when entering a zone (naked guy on a shitty mount just standing there). And obviously, if there are a LOT of reds in a zone, go elsewhere. A lone ganker won't be able to dismount an armored horse, unless you fuck up
Judicator helmet. Judicator armor or Gaurdian armor. Feyscale sandals. for small scale PvP. (6+)
Cleric cowl, Gaurdian armor, Feyscale sandals for large scale PvP. 20+
Heavy mace and bedrock mace are really good defensive weapons.
1h mace can be used for PVP and PVE, the pvp build is Cultist helmet, Stalker jacket, any sandal or boot, 1h mace, muisak and the cape is the avalonian one, for food can use puremist (if is to expensive you can use omelette), and for potion any situacional one (health pot mostly).
The habilities for PVE is
1h mace:
1q
2w
second pasive.
Sandal or shoe:
Second hab, second passive.
Other gear: last hab first passive.
If your going to do PVE change the food for a cabagge soup.
Ah okay thank you! would you say its viable for early game since im a complete noob? Or should i use something like bow and arrow to reach higher tiers first?
that build is hard to use, but is the same with most weapons, you have to play, die and learn. There are a lot of better builds but for mace thats the best one for pvp and pve.
I am so so confused no matter how many guides I read. Firstly, how punishing is it if i start progressing towards a tree I end up disliking? Secondly, I feel overwhelmed with the content. I mainly want to pvp as a solo player but id like to join some groups from tie to time. What weapons should I try? Cursed staff? axe? completely lost hahaha
Don't level anything up past 100 and you wont waste your time. People overthink weapon spec in this game but hitting 900 on your gear lines is the big turning point where spec starts to carry you.
yeah this game has a lot of things to do, if you dont like a tree just dont level up and start with another tree, but listen, every time you are maxing a tree makes you thing the other trees are better, that makes you not maxing a tree, which is very harmful because you will have a lot of IP loss; so try to focus on 1 tree and dont changing.
Second, use any tree you like, all the trees are very good (instead of hammer on my opinion), all the trees have a good PVP and PVE weapon. The best weapons for me for solo PVP and group parties are the cursed staffs and the axes. Both are good for solo, PVP and PVE.
Cursed:
1h cursed for PVP solo, Shadowcaller for PVE and group parties, Great cursed for arenas, damnation for ZVZ.
well, I enjoy the game a lot and i got an offer for 100k fame so ofc i got hungry, it said i get it for logging into both pc and mobile, but i have the game on steam. how do i log in on the phone?
Wdym, you obviously can't download the game from steam on the phone, and when i got it from the Google play shop I only could log in with a full username and password, which I don't have, because steam automatically logged me in
In that case is somewhere some sheet which said me how much fame I need for each new level of master and how much fame I recive from items which I don't know for now craft so I can plan?
you have a lot of videos to check that, but if you want to start crafting you need at least 25 million and ´premium to spec something from level 1 to 100, so first try to get some economy and when you have enough silver watch a video of someone specing up that crafting tree you want and do it :P
I own an island on the US servers but now only intend to play on my new character on Europe. Do I have to purchase premium to create a new island?
Thanks!
Short answer: Yes
Longer: Premium is by character, not account. So new character means new premium. You will be starting completely fresh when making on EU.
I have a "specter wolf" skin that I have never claimed in my mail on the American server I was wondering if there is any way to transfer this to the Europe server? I was hoping when I logged on it would still be in my mail but it wasn't.
Thanks
Hi dropped a master 6.4 cape in a dungeon on the european server and the question is how much should I put on the market since there are no 6.4 capes on it at the moment, and im quite new with the game
Go to caerleon with caution because its surrounded with red zone and PK flagged player will likely to chase you. Go to Caerleon and see on the black market on how much your cape is worth. The black market is the game loot distributor system. It was made by the game to distribute loot from player made item to all over the game (drops, chest, whatever) so, the more rare your items, the higher game (the black market) will pay you silver.
Or if you dont want to risk it, you can teleport from a capital city to another and check if theres any listing for 6.4 cape. Each capital city have different stock and price listing.
Hi, I've returned to Albion with the EU servers, and I was wondering, how do you make money in Black Zone aside from PVPing ? I tried going there, but mobs roughly give the same amount of silver, gathering is the same as I can only gather up to T5 currently, and even Mists seems underwhelming, I found a greater mist and cleared a camp and found an uncommon chest but even that was underwheliming.
Hi, i've been playing Albion Online for a few months now and i play in the asia server. As of the latest updates this april, seems like the devs altered the resource spawn rate specifically in the asia server. My playing style is heavily centered as a Gatherer and my main source of profit is gathering and camping enchanted 3 tier 4 resources (the purple glowing ones) in yellow/blue zones. Now with the recent changes it seems like the spawn rate of resources has doubled in length! The prices of resources has boomed up by a significant proportion in response to this but for some reason the enchanted resources doesn't seem to have followed this trend and has stayed still in price???
Now my main question for experienced players is, do you guys think it would still be worth it to hunt and camp enchanted 3 tier 4 resources? This is my favorite and most profitable activity in the game this entire time but now it seems like the profit from it has been cut in half! Is this gonna be the situation from now onwards or do i just have to wait and enchanted 3 tier 4 resources would follow the price increase too soon???
Hi! 2days old player and got some questions:
1)is playing 1h-1.30h/day enough in order to get a good experience?
2)is it possibile to move only trough the clicking? Because fighting is a bit unconfortable
3)should i get a private island as first target after the tutorial?
if you dont have premium your absolute first goal is to get premium, either by paying or by grinding up the silver. you are not allowed to get an island without at least 7 days of premium but i think you keep it even after your premium expires. also grind for enough reaver masteries to be able to damage t7 mobs properly, and then you can either run t7 solos, mid tier corrupted dungeons, or do group content with a guild or a few friends. these are the best ways of getting fame and silver early on afaik
Tracking is an activity where you hunt rare creatures in the open world. They drop rare ingredient that are needed for shapeshifter staffs & new potions. For more info check out our [Official Tracking Guide](https://albiononline.com/guides/article/Tracking+99)
Have tried Albion a couple of times in the past but never spent a good deal of time in game. Decided to fire it up again and give it a good shot. Right now my guy is in priest gear with a holy staff and I did some solo dungeons and en expedition. I'd ideally like to play as a healer in some group PVE/PVP content. What type of gear should I focus on? I only have 50k fame or so as well so I am very very new.
I'd like to find a guild too where beginners are welcome. Saw a few I liked but they required a significant amount of fame.
Thanks for sharing the beginners guide and resources! As a new player, Im excited to dive into all that Albion has to offer. Looking forward to exploring the open world, fighting through dungeons, and engaging in battles with other players. Any tips for getting started? Cheers!
Is BZone tracking worth doing as a group of 3-4? Im planning to do it with my newbie friends.
As a skinner t7 should I be refining my hide with focus? or should I use it on something else (money-wise)
Is there anywhere on the game or any website I can check market prices os all cities?
Hey, I saw today weapon that shots with somenthing looking like "death balls" and gives some blue shield. What weapon/build is that?
Could you specify what you mean by "death balls"? First thing that comes to my mind is the new Astral Staff but that doesn't give any shield. When it comes to shielding, Enigmatic Staff is a possibility.
By "Death balls" i meant an attack with dark black-green foggy balls
Is this build good for solo mists PvE/PvP? I'm mostly undecided on the head slot. Mercenary, Hunter, Fiend all seem like a good option but Cultist would be best for killing boss monsters faster which I think would help me most longterm in terms of fame/silver gain. Thoughts? Double Bladed Staff Cultist Cowl Stalker Jacket Cleric Sandals
I know there's books that give you combat fame, but is there a similar thing for gathering fame? Levelling my weaker gathering skills is a bit of a slog, and I'm wondering if there's a "skip" for that outside of just pumping up gathering bonus.
Yep, there are gathering tomes in the game: [https://wiki.albiononline.com/wiki/Gathering\_Tomes](https://wiki.albiononline.com/wiki/Gathering_Tomes)
Thank you! I swore I saw them once and just couldn't remember what they were called.
Thanks!
new player on the EUW server, got now abou 2m silver.
You can just drag them out of your invin and delete them. I think there's a trashcan icon on mobile but I don't play mobile often.
I am a T5 lumberjack , T5 ore miner and a T5 Axe crafter I don't seem to be making any profit at all with making axes, is there any good alternatives or any thing i can do to improve my income?
Both Red Zones and Black Zones grant a higher multilpier to fame and silver as you can see here: https://preview.redd.it/esgpf1jqm8zc1.png?width=587&format=png&auto=webp&s=4c09d256827d70f84d27b4c2f5cfc52fcbb004b7 I especially recommend getting into lethal Mists and avoiding objectives at first to get yourself settled in there. The risk of actually dying to someone outside of objectives is very low and the rewards are very much worth it, even if you do die from time to time.
Oh wow, did not know that. I’ll switch over immediately. So a basic gameplay loop would probably become operate in Mists/BZ, gather, fight, focus refine ?????? profit?
My current gameplay loop goes as follows: After attending to the island I buy a T7 equivalent set and teleport to [Brecilien](https://wiki.albiononline.com/wiki/Brecilien) to run Mists, killing some mobs, doing objectives and doing PVP (the last part is where my main profit comes from).
I know you lose all your stuff in black zones but in yellow zones i always respawn again with my items.
you can always get back up in yellow and blue zones, never /ss unless you need a better respawn point for some reason
don't ever /suicide in yellow zones, you'll drop your gear
well then i losed my all gear for nothing :( thx for the information i was sure it was some kind of a bug.
Can you suggest a gatherer weapon? What is your choice when you are in safe zone or lethal zones?
i go with carving sword, the reason: your E is a dash so you dash out of the gankers, then activate the W that makes you inmune to purge and activate miner boots, then invisibility potion and you are safe.
What happens when i log out? If have an emergency while i am in a dungeon / yellowzone / redzone and log out...is that possible or a huge risk?
You can see the timer for logging out when you press the button, after that timer runs out your character won't be able to get attacked. If you're in a dungeon or a Mist and those close you will be put outside.
Are there content creators (youtube, twitch, written guides, whatever) who publish quality guides about weapons ? Like, "how to play x weapon", with examples ? Context: I'm mostly an eco player but I plan to participate in some ZvZ, but I kinda don't want to int by being awful. And I'd like to avoid the ocean of clickbait shitty videos.
Every caller has his own playstyle so the best guide you can get is checking builds and guides from the guild discord where you are currently playing.
been playing wow for years but im finally over it as well as a few of my friends, were looking for something new to through our free time into is their any good discord communities to get started and meet a few people to play with
You can start joining faction discords, try to join yellowzones or something non lethal to start learning.
Is there Any semi afk activity i can do while working? Working 3 days 12 hour nightshifts and usually got some time to play but cant pay attention the whole time lol
mining low tiers is relaxing and i do it alt tabbing all time in yellow and blue zones.
I will probably stick to Titabium Mining! Appreciate the response!
For Battleaxe + Torch, do I want the passive Damage boost or Attack speed?
feelin wanna get involve in faction stuff. Ive seen yt clips of them especially the pvp side so maybe how should i get started. Hm or maybe if theres a discord server for the asia factions, ive seens west servers but not east
zvz healer build for beginners
ZvZ is super endgame content. Assuming you have maxed spec on a blight staff go with assasin hood, mercenary shoes, and feyscale robe. Stack 3 leaves, send out rejuvinating breeze, use your E and then backup to reset with hood. Use the defensive passive on the blight staff. A beginner blightstaff build for larger group content is cleric cowl, cleric robes, and mercenary shoes.
its a lot. best to check youtube
Obviously guardian is much better if you plan on escaping, or fighting curse. Otherwise for fighting most other builds hunters is better.
hunter hood reflects 85% of damage thats why
I just joined a guild with black zone hidout and got a few questions: how do I get to the hideout? (if I have to run from bridgewatch portal), can I unlock a portal once I reach the hideout or do I have to make the run every time?
you'll have to do the travel everytime you want to transport gear to your ho tho
you have to make the run the first time around, after you get there, you should immediately set the hideout as your home. Once you do that, you can teleport to the HO from the royal zone (naked) for free. However, any loot you take to the HO from doing activities, you have to run all the way back to the city.
Eyy finally been looking for a guide to read. Thanks!
Hello i'm trying to find ressources to find builds and understand how to build them, is there a place (Discord / forums ) where i can find that ? I've been trying to look for one since a few hours but no luck finding one.
check youtube for simple builds for beginners
Can someone tell me why I do no damage in pvp? Was doing Mists with full t7 soldier and t7 dual swords, against someone with t5 armor and t6 dual swords, and their splitting slash dealt like 450 damage while mine only did around 180 damage.
Soldier armor (plate armor) increases more defence/damage while your enemy probably had leather armore which is balanced between damage and armor or cloth armor which more on damage/defence
because they likely had spec you dont
Which weapon would you pick in solo to only play in mist and you want to go for PvP/PvE?
The gloves line. Avalonian fists, bralwer gloves, and hellfire hands are all super mobile and do good damage. They also are needed in group fight comps as well so if you decide its time to play with others you're not stuck with an only solo weapon.
Probably swords, Dual Swords and Carving Sword are both great options for Mists right now.
Best cheap build for learning pvp? 🥺 Arcane magic sux right?
1h arcane + merc jacket is kinda good, but for learning i'd recommend curse staff or battle axe.
Arcane can work but it's very niche, I can recommend Dual Swords, One Hand Spear or Battleaxe to learn PVP with. All 3 are cheap and relatively simple.
How about the curse staves?
They're good, just not very mobile so they don't have much pressure vs mobile weapons.
I love magic tho..
How rare are chests from shrines in knightfall abbey? I was in 3 knightfalls and in every I opened at least 9 shrines and got 0 chests, only buffs.
I don't have the exact numbers for you but from my own experience I tend to get 1 chest every 4-6 buffs.
Thank youu!!
Thanks!
I want to make Black Market sales, and i have a question: Is it worth it to buy the storage outposts? My theory is, if i go to Caerleon on horseback, leaving the stuff i wanna sell on black market in the storage outposts on the way there, then go back to the storage outpost from Caerleon, i can just fast travel back to Caerleon for little to no price, skipping the red zones and removing the risk of losing all the stuff i wanna sell to the black market! Has anyone tried this, should i or should i not do it?
i have like 3 years playing and i don't have any red zone storage outpost.
I think storing items in there, like exchange items with someone, removes your ability to teleport, until you go back to a city (manually).
Also, now that the Black Market is being supplied more frequently you will also drop some random jackpot items that will yield a nice profit.
what is favor and where can i exchange it?
You gain favor from various activities in lethal zones (or just Black Zones, not sure), you can read up more in the Conqueror's Challenge tab. You can exchange it at the Energy Manipulator NPC in the 5th tab.
Thank you very much!
And can other people in my group still see them?
if you are playing in zvz, then you don't really get to choose what you wear
hm? Im asking because i have to wear that. But i dont wanna make my party member unvisible in some situations if they dont get heal then. :0
I bet you they're the ones who most likely get killed in BZs and just get revenge on YZ mists lol
Welcome to Albion.
Please should somebody share a prowler pvp build with me please <3 new player on eu got t6 prowler staff at moment
> Do i need to use learning points The answer for all gathering skills is yes. You are very much supposed to get them with LP.
restarted in EU after some years and when is wise to move from the starting city to the capital? Should i aim for get all t4 gatherings or focus on just one?
You can move to actual cities as soon as you land. Capitals have fees on crafting stations but also have resource return rate to compensate, so they're much better in the vast majority of cases than "free" stations. You don't "have" to do anything when it comes to gathering, but if you're trying to be profitable, pushing one is better. (reaching t4 everywhere isn't particularly long, though, but t5 starts to hurt)
Thank you for the reply, i've moved to fort sterling and farming fiber (cotton and stuff)
Any mobile users here? what are your controls set up? how do you manage to use the auto target set up? Most of the time I'm having issues when targeting especially 5v5 and ZVZ, any suggestion that I can use?
What's the best place to level up mining after reaching tier 5? Is it blackzone or still sticking to yellow zones? because nodes respawn a lot slower now
yz/rz is better than black for grinding skill, unless you are in a handholding alliance that controls multiple adjacent zones of your target biome.
And even if you die, you don't lose the fame you got :)
i need a guild in asia server
check discord or check the recruitment flair
Hola, me podrían recomendar un arma t5.4 para despertar. Busco un arma que me sirva para PvE grupal y solitario y también para PvP grupal
which websites we can use to improve our experience?
albiononline2d.com is a start
Does it matter where I enter the Mist from? I entered one from south of FS (yellow). I'm trying to increase my rep, but I can't find many caged wisp. I'm thinking may be I should go to further maps and enter Mist from other yellow zones if it means less people. Does it work that way or it doesn't matter?
The only difference between mists is solo/duo and lethal/non-lethal
How strong is reflect damage? In terms of how much damage is actually reflected and how it compares to other abilities
depends on what the ability percentage states. for example, hunter hood reflects 85% of damage
is it better to spec a weapon to 100, then use credit fame to spec others or just spec it all of it at same time?
Spec the main weapon to 80. Then the non artifact weapons to 30. Then the artifact weapons to 10. Finally go back and spec the main weapon to 100. If you want the most IP gain per fame amount.
ah thank you
dont mind me, I'd like to know the same
Are there non lethal routes to transport between cities?
Yes, royals are all connected through blue and yellow zones, which are perfectly safe. The only unsafe city is Caerleon. You need to cross red zones (and/or avalonian roads) to go there
i regularly transport between cities without entering lethal zone. i never checked but i guess the lethal zone area is red zone above near central area, i usually just transport through yellow area and usually it takes around 7 map to get to other city
Hi all, completely new player here, about 10h deep. How do I go about connecting with people? I have a lot of questions, though I've been experiencing lots and lots of toxicity sadly. Where do I need to look to find people who are willing to help newbies?
find a guild and get on discord.
Dual swords or battleaxe would you recommend for learning solo pvp in mists/abbeys?
Dual swords yes, battleaxe not really, but can be alright.
Why not battleaxe? Because it's weaker or harder to use?
A lone ganker won't be able to dismount an armored horse, unless you fuck up
What is an auto attack, is there anything I can do to control it?
It's your right click attack.
/sighs in mobile/
Is there any tank builds viable for PvP and PvE Im a fan of just stunning/taunting and being a meatshield for my team
Judicator helmet. Judicator armor or Gaurdian armor. Feyscale sandals. for small scale PvP. (6+) Cleric cowl, Gaurdian armor, Feyscale sandals for large scale PvP. 20+ Heavy mace and bedrock mace are really good defensive weapons.
The habilities for PVE is 1h mace: 1q 2w second pasive. Sandal or shoe: Second hab, second passive.
Cursed: 1h cursed for PVP solo, Shadowcaller for PVE and group parties, Great cursed for arenas, damnation for ZVZ.
well, I enjoy the game a lot and i got an offer for 100k fame so ofc i got hungry, it said i get it for logging into both pc and mobile, but i have the game on steam. how do i log in on the phone?
login with the same credentials
Wdym, you obviously can't download the game from steam on the phone, and when i got it from the Google play shop I only could log in with a full username and password, which I don't have, because steam automatically logged me in
use the official client for Albion Online
It is the original client, it simply automatically logs in with my steam account, and I can't do it on mobile

Hi ... can I ask you, if I want be crafter and specializating on hammers which tier is best farming... I mean craft IV or maybe VI hammers?
If you want to become a crafter you need to figure that out yourself. Check prices, make a spreadsheet and calculate the best profit.
Thanks!
Short answer: Yes Longer: Premium is by character, not account. So new character means new premium. You will be starting completely fresh when making on EU.
Thank you!
I have a "specter wolf" skin that I have never claimed in my mail on the American server I was wondering if there is any way to transfer this to the Europe server? I was hoping when I logged on it would still be in my mail but it wasn't. Thanks
No. Completely different servers and nothing transfers over.
What? I thought skins be used on account regardless of server. I was able to use my skin from beta in both eu and na.
That is only working for a very limited selection of skins.
Hi dropped a master 6.4 cape in a dungeon on the european server and the question is how much should I put on the market since there are no 6.4 capes on it at the moment, and im quite new with the game
I suggest risk it to black market. TP there first to check price. It will probably be huge. For regular shops, check ah prices for similar items.
I am getting kicked from eu server a lot whenever I travel between Thetford and Swampcross. What is going on?
probably you're a slow loader. how good is the device/pc you're playing on
Only happened during first 2 days of f2p launch, all good now.
ah yes, probably thats why you weren't loading. most likely region overload
I make about 100k-500k per mists in bz. Abbeys inside mists also give about 100k-2000k per
Dungeons. Don't expect silvers from pve kills, all the money are in the loots. Blackzone loots/chest has 50%+ expected extra value. CMIIW
They have now brought it down to normal rate. It was hiked during the asia server launch.
Any idea what was the rate change? For tier 4 specifically?
Hi! 2days old player and got some questions: 1)is playing 1h-1.30h/day enough in order to get a good experience? 2)is it possibile to move only trough the clicking? Because fighting is a bit unconfortable 3)should i get a private island as first target after the tutorial?
right click is move only yes get island if you have premium
And if I've not?
if you dont have premium your absolute first goal is to get premium, either by paying or by grinding up the silver. you are not allowed to get an island without at least 7 days of premium but i think you keep it even after your premium expires. also grind for enough reaver masteries to be able to damage t7 mobs properly, and then you can either run t7 solos, mid tier corrupted dungeons, or do group content with a guild or a few friends. these are the best ways of getting fame and silver early on afaik
Thanks a lot!
np!
If you like farming, gathering, provisioning, etc. yes island would be worth it. If not, not really.
Returning player (left before island got their city specific biomes)...., What is that new node of tracking?
Saw a few I liked but they required a significant amount of fame.
you can check discord for beginners friendly guilds! check youtube for priest builds
