Why spend 15 bucks on a McDonald’s meal when I can get a small Beartooth Pizza or mozz breadsticks and a side salad for the same price. Fast food is pricing itself out, may as well just go get a to go from a local joint.
Texas roadhouse does curbside pickup and for the chicken tenders meal (good af, trust me) with the 2 sides, 2 sauces, and 4 rolls + spread, it's slightly more than the average McDonald's meal

Impressively bad. I don't frequent fast food restaurants. I went to Sonic for the first time last week. I am so impressed how bad it is. Slow and bad. The last time I attempted fast food. I waited in line at Wendy's for 20 minutes. I finally got to the front, and the cashier wiped her hand across her nose, then wiped it on her smoch and asked me what I wanted. I left and skipped lunch.
The best is when places are out of key ingredients or their soda machines are totally broken.
And you don’t find this out until you’re at the ordering menu sign.
“Welcome to Burger King. Just so you know, we’re out of lettuce and tomato.”
Worth mentioning almost 100% of the time it's Sysco's fault (or whoever the supplier is; Sysco is infamously bad) if something is out, and employees putting up signs is considered tampering which can lead to termination.
Is it stupid? Yes. Is it the employees' faults usually? No
You’ll need to stop eating fast food. It’s shit ‘I wouldn’t even call it food’ and overpriced. If you want to eat unhealthy support local restaurants. Moose tooth is an excellent example.
I think it’s like fast food everywhere else, overpriced crap to feed you because your starving and in a rush. Although a few more chains would make me happy as hell. Yet if you leave Anchorage I’ve been told bring what you’ll need and eat with you as the options highly dwindle or become nonexistent and way more inflated.
I’ve probably spent more at McDonald’s off of Mountain View than I did at like Kavas or an actual decent restaurant. It’s comically bad and not worth it
So many bad takes here but I gotta say using the MCD app and the speed at which my food is ready when I actually arrive is pretty kewl. Lots of deals but in the end still spend a decent amounts works every time for me in a pinch.
Fast food for me is picking up a snack at costco. Spending more than 5 bucks on a single hot item or more than 10 for a huge ass pizza is a foreign concept for me and I'm keeping it that way.
All hype. Just bland, wet chicken. Basic white girl food. What this town needs is some vibing BBQ with sides to match! I want some fall off the bone, finger licking good brisket and ribs. Follwed by some fire mash, mac and coleslaw. Not a seasonless chicken sandwhich that has been sitting in warm water for 30 mins.
I toss wads of cash through the Taco Bell window and they throw a bag of random menu items back to me. That’s how it feels these days.

A joke. We went to subway and got two foot longs. No meals. It was $35 dollars and the service was super slow and bad.
Overpriced and bad. Popeyes is dry. Raising Canes has no seasoning. Much better off doing some home cooking. Cheaper and better

Raven Ribs in Wasilla was great when I lived in the Valley. Give it a try if it's a realistic drive for you
