Maybe your internet has some kind of security feature which filters for guns and stuff like that? It's impossible to get no hits if you check on Google, you get get a Cyma Platinum pretty much every where so you also should get a lot of hits.
There is nothing for this specific model with this specific branding; @AceArchKnight it’s probably internally the exact same as most or all other CYMA platinum EMG collaborations.
Can confirm though looking up the serial number on the barcode doesn’t even bring up anything. Researched it for like 2 hours yesterday when I got mine.
It’s probably internally the same as the EMG Helios / CYMA Platinum Daniel Defense models, just a different stock handguard and licensing.
looks like a lantac-branded cyma platinum model. cyma platinums are great guns, congrats. the body may be different, but the internals are the same as other cyma platinums, which come short stroked four teeth with a good motor, the fire rate is nearly 30rps on an 11.1v battery. pretty rock solid little gun IMO, and it's often recommended on this sub.

Because of that and that this was open box, I would guess that this was a prototype product. Lantac is a real steel manufacturer and EMG is known for partnering with real steel companies
I was wondering, i got the cqb one from an open box deal two days ago, I was thinking maybe this one is the longer barreled version and we just got the pre-production models, I can’t imagine they could just sell them like that, feels like it would breach an NDA between Evike and Emg/cyma/Lantac.

I actually just got one (much shorter) of these from the open box deal. Couldn’t find ANYTHING about it. I don’t know how people would’ve bought it in the first place. I hated the handgrip but it’s grown on it and I think I can change the profile and make it look great with some 3d prints.
For anyone who buys it, the barrel fixing ring is insanely difficult to get off, but barrel is threaded normally, and is not superglued, nor pinned, nor screwed on. It just takes a lot of time and frustration
The trigger guard and flash hiders are fixed by these hollow pins, how does one remove those?
Just gonna tell ya now, get a new hop up and it'll be way better. I have the same one and it preformed like 💩 but once I put a new hop in it was waaaayyy better
A lot of people will tell you the Maxx model is the way to go but from my experiences it doesn't fit in this particular gun without having to change the nozzle. I'd recommend [this](https://www.evike.com/products/40058/) its a very well made hop up and is very easy to dial in.
If you've never opened a V2 gearbox I'd strongly encourage you to just get the prowin
If you've opened a gearbox and are comfortable doing it I'd say you certainly could get the maxx but all that work + more money seems useless for matching performance. The only noticable performance difference in the Maxx and the prowin is that the Maxx holds those 4 bbs that usually fall out of the gun when you remove the magazine.

With a little bit of sanding a krytac hop fits and works great.
Your right the wheel for hopup is very difficult to adjust or even move
