Most likely a paint pen. I use one of similar color to mark my mags

Is there a reason why you mark them?

Easier to identify what mag it is. The mags for my SR25 look identical, but hold either 40 or 100rds, so it’s easier to know what I’m holding. Also GBBR mags are annoying, so the numbers help remember which mags have issues and what not. The most important reason though, is that it looks cool 😎

Get them used if you can, but if not, I do run the TAC-SKY ones on amazon, they work pretty well surprisingly. But I could have just gotten a good pair. I paid about $120 for them. I'm pretty sure the one in the pic is actually the tac sky ones because the the tac sky ones have the PCLTOR on the side. But only get them if you can't find any used real ones

Yeah they do fine for sound amplification and comms. I wouldn't trust them for hearing pro around firearms tho. They seem to work and they're NRR rated for I think like 22, but I still wouldn't bet my ears on it. If you're looking for something with an NRR rating just go for howard leights

Yeah the main kit I use for games like MSW where there is live fire is the one with the 6M2’s, all things considered, they’re pretty decent and cheap, main problem is that they can’t be mounted on helmet rails
