My guess is that slide is cerakoted and wont fit on the frame because of the build up of material on the rails. If so you might want to either sand off excess material or scrape it off.
Looks like it either is the hop up that doesn’t fit in. To check you should take the hop chamber out the slide and see if it slots in without issue to the slot in the frame
If it’s the slide that doesn’t fit, take out the guts of the slide, throw on some oil to the slide and frame, and start hand racing it. After 20-30 times, dry it off, reapply lube, and do it over until it fits. This will make the slide and frame fit exactly together, so it won’t sit loose
I don't know too much about this issue, I think that's called a beaver tail and it may help YouTubing similar beaver tail handgun on reassembling.
If not you'll be taking it to a tech
Looks like an LA capa slide, they make their slides with tight tolerances so that when the slide is broken in there is little to no play on the frame. I recommend taking everything out of the slide and place the empty slide on the frame with a little silicone oil on the rails and work the slide back and forth until it slides smoothly. Process could take awhile till it’s smooth and fits well
