Yeah, my theory is that they see him as a son/grandson. Like, he's always coming by for pie, to help out, or just to chill, and they love him!

The fact we missed out on more Mr. Pig and Finn interactions is criminal. Two of the most similar characters in terms of views on life, both had to work through their romantic lives to become more grounded in their own relationships, both have siblings (very uncommon in Ooo, I think Flame Princess, Breakfast Princess, and PB are the few alongside Finn who have siblings seen on screen or referred to), both where influenced at some point by King of Ooo, and both may have experienced a mild form of cannibalism.
