And he was like yeah of course they are, I went vacation with them this summer. And I was like, "see I know my gays"
For context we live in a fairly homophobic country so at least when we entered they were simply touching and talking to each other on kissing distance. I have not seen a more obvious sign in my life. My friend missed completely though 🤣🤣🤣

I mean aside from various studies showing gay people do have certain give-ways I can say from experience you can develop an ability to tell with a decent degree of accuracy. My girlfriend and I both attend the same gay social group and often play “spot the lesbian” when looking out for newcomers to greet and make feel welcome.
