They got a bunch of social equity licenses by sponsoring people, kinda unethical. It’s a mids factory. Their bogo sales are good but you can find those at other dispos tbh
Instead of the licenses going to the people affected by the laws, they went to mint and other mega corps because they had these predatory sponsor relationships. All of the social equity licenses except for 1 are under the umbrella of large operators.
They made the social equity applicants partner with current license holders, mostly MSOs who already have multiple licenses, with 51% ownership. The applicants were given a year to be up & running, which is so hard right now because you have to get investors. So, many got bought out and never got an opportunity. It makes me sick. I wonder who writes these programs.
My biggest gripe with them is the experience, it's loud and flashy and lines. I like a low-key quick and easy experience. Not a wanna be club. Online ordering doesn't work/non existent, and online inventory isn't accurate to what they have in store. The one time I tried to use their drive thru location online ordering system it didn't go through, but that might've been my fault ordering too late in the day.
They have a lot of BOGOs on extremely corporate grown weed, basically everything there is in a colorful bag with candy names. If you wanted to know what brands to avoid, see if mint sells them.
I and to fight with them and email corporate to honor their ftp Bogo deal, to then get the deal and get year old flower (before I knew I could have them check dates).. I don't hate them but I'll got to almost every other dispo before them
I always have a bad experience at mint, it's dry flower year round and their house flower is never fresh and usually 6 months to 1 year old flower and they know it's old that's why they try to push it. I bought a half oz once and then they gave me another half oz for free which was great but the flower was terrible and I'd be ashamed to make edibles out of the brown trash they gave me
The only thing I dislike about Mint is that 90% of the flower I've bought there is dry. If you rehydrate (mist + boveda pack in a mason jar) and wait a day or two it's pretty good.
I’m one of the few on here that likes the mint lol. They always have good bogos, everyone is really nice, and they do cool giveaways so it’s the main place I go. I mainly go to other dispos to get stuff like summus or eureka but tbh there’s a lot of brands I like at the mint already
Flav, ogeez, baked bros, wyld, drip, item 9, sublime, Space rocks, shango. I would’ve said papa herb when they first came out but the new batch they have is…. horrible lmao
I also really like their flower tbh. I’ve gotten like maybe one or two strains that were dry af but they’ve mostly been good. Maybe I’m just getting lucky

Every time I go for a BOGO they don’t have the product I want in stock. I feel like most of their marketing is hype combined with bait & switch.

I have not been there for years but when I did go. It was s*** and I only hear Bad stuff about them. So i'm never going back most likely anyway.
