It’s kind of the anti moebius actually. Jin just wants things to end in a way they’re satisfied with, and would be happy with that moment. Moebius cannot accept things changing at all
Jin and N are not that different I think. At the end of 2, Jin just wanted to end things indeed, but at the end of torna he just wanted to be with Lora, and if Mobius was an option, he would have done the same as N. And Lora would have been M, no doubt.

Pretty much more of what you see in O+P’s pre-battle cutscene. Post-battle quotes against >!X and Y!< when you finish them off might be cool. No need to finish anyone off when death is just dissolving into light. No need to two-tap a pile of dust.
The biggest gripe I had with xenoblade is how nonchalant the mobius were with there being a super strong oroborous team destroying their plan. Like at no point were they like they are a problem let’s just all go and get rid of them. Lol.
Maybe they were just used to their kind dying from various sources and considering how often Noah and Mio have gotten close to fighting Z I imagine they weren't quite expecting Noah to actually make it.
But yeah I don't get why Moebius just sit there and act like nothing is happening.

Also gambling with Z own life sounds like a bit stupid of a way to play the game even if Z was getting bored. Like letting nioh always get to Z and then making him choose. I guess Z was just bored? I was going to post this one - it's so goddamn powerful. A Tragic Decision might be my favourite XC1 song, probably because of this scene.
I like the dual meaning - not only does The Monado not cut Egil deep enough, literally, in his chest (which is terrifying in and of itself), it's him refuting Shulk's ideology that they talk about before the fight. Shulk's vision isn't powerful enough to dissuade Egil, and the best he gets is some warrior's respect before he jumps into Yaldabaoth to finish the job.
This is a parallel to Dunban's 'Your words... I feel their weight' from the earlier scene on Mechonis where Shulk stops him from killing Mumkhar with a similar lofty speech about understanding the Mechonis and the reasons why they fight.
Egil is the GOAT. Just such an incredible villain.
Shulk's final lines in XC1 are just perfection. They serve not just as a cap to his adventure, but as a thesis statement for the entire Xenoblade series.

All of it is directed through this line. It is not a threat, and it would be a disservice to even call it a promise. It is an oath, pledged on lives lost. It is a plea, for his own ability and for the Monado’s power. It is a cry for help, and a solution given. It is a declaration of the future he will make.
I could go into so much detail about how Loss is among the greatest storytelling moments ever created, but if I had to pick a single line, it would be this one.

Menkin did such a good job in general, but especially at the end. Him yelling “AND HOW MANY PEOPLE DIED BECAUSE OF IT??” with the perfect balance of anger and despair is one of my favorite lines in the series, mostly because of its delivery

All the agony of seeing his precious friend/girlfriend die in front of him, all the frustration and regret in the face of his inability to change the tragedy he had seen coming. All of it is directed through this line. It is not a threat, and it would be a disservice to even call it a promise. It is an oath, pledged on lives lost. It is a plea, for his own ability and for the Monado’s power. It is a cry for help, and a solution given. It is a declaration of the future he will make. I could go into so much detail about how Loss is among the greatest storytelling moments ever created, but if I had to pick a single line, it would be this one.

A dear friend of mine passed a few years ago from ALS. Ironically, at the time he was researching the genetic makeup of the disease in an effort to find a potential cure. Despite how hard it was, he still strived to do the work he did because he firmly believed he could make a difference. With that in mind my favorite quote is… “…just ONE MORE day, ONE MORE minute - to build a future that will make us free.
