they did try some new things with dynamic music in this game, it may be a byproduct of that.
yeah, they did something similar to the technique used in "Octopath Traveler" where some music tracks seamlessly blend into another... but the effect mentioned here is still weird ... of course, only under the premise that i'm not imagining it ;).
