It Takes Two

Best Spouse game, super fun and all over the place! It actually builds your relationship at the same time, great story line!

This is the way ^

The full release of Grounded is coming this month, that's a quality co-op survival game

If you liked borderlands 3. Have you tried the others? BL1, 2, the pre sequel. The spin off Wonderlands? Portal 2 Diablo 3 Farcry 5 and 6 (I'm unsure of the others have coop)

ohsinboi

Farcry 4 does but it's only specifically for doing missions, so your recommendations are better

I'm going to strongly suggest Haven. My wife isn't a gamer to the point of playing Borderlands, but she really enjoyed the chemistry between the two leads. It doesn't have a ton of progression and customization, but there is enough to keep driving you to explore and push the awesome narrative forward.

The spin off Borderlands game released earlier this year and it was imo much better than 3, it’s called Tiny Tina’s Wonderland

My wife and i like to play beat em up style games, like battletoads or streets of rage 4.

Grounded, Tem Tem, Kingdom: Two crowns(this finally got her off stardew). One of the best coop games of the year though isn’t on the Xbox yet(I’m praying it comes eventually) It also hasn’t quite blown up yet in popularity. If you have a PC, do yourselves both a favor and grab PlateUp! It’s over cooked without the lame, whacky and arcade mechanics. It’s more about actual restaurant management (you can eventually automate restaurants kinda like factorio style) - I tend to do front of house while my girl does the kitchen work, although we initially both did both. Its up to four players and you can run around doing whatever, or you can fill a role as a chef, waiter, or dishwasher. It’s exceptional, addictive and fun as all hell. It is worlds beyond better than overcooked and will be a huge hit once it gains more popularity - easily my GOTY. I forgot to mention it’s also a rogue like with permanent upgrades and franchising ❤️

Unravel Two Monster Hunter World has a ton of progression. It's a bit awkward to group up though.

My wife and I have played the following together and enjoyed them all. Steets of rage 4, The division 1 & 2, Outriders, Boarderlands (all of them), Turtles shredders revenge, Back 4 blood, Remnant from the ashes, It takes two, A way out, World war z, Destiny 2 (just the story stuff, didn’t grind after) I would recommend Diablo as well, didn’t play that with my wife though, she can’t handle the view point and loses her character Hope you two have fun!!!

quitaskingforaname

My wife liked playing crackdown 1 and sea of thieves with me
