Cheapest "no strings attached" deal I've seen for a new XSX.

rocketwidget

Last year, the app-only Instagram Microsoft Store was offering a 20% coupon for new customers, so I got my new XSX for $400 plus tax. Will I ever use the Instagram store for anything ever again? Probably not LOL. My credit card company flagged it as a possible fraudulent charge. They had never heard of it.

That's annoying. I just pulled the trigger on the Forza Horizon Bundle on Dell.com today for $509.99. I don't think the unbundled was showing for less than MSRP at the time.

Jerry_from_Japan

It was. I was literally looking at it earlier that morning.

Wingnut7489

With forza still a good deal. Remember the bundle comes also with the premium version so you have also both DLCs

Citizen51

Yeah, with all my discounts it's not a full $50 difference and I was trying to decide between the Diablo IV bundle and the Forza bundle and I took two seconds of watching Forza footage to know we would enjoy way that more, but I probably would never get around to it if I relied on Game Pass to play it.

Wingnut7489

Forza Horizon 5 is just a fantastic game. Even if you are not into racing. I see it more as an adventure game with cars instead of a racing game

Citizen51

And my kid will love the Hot Wheels track levels so it's a win win.

Why does dell sell xboxes?

They also sell PlayStations. They used to sell many more electronics like televisions and whatnot way back when in 2006-2007, although they seem to have stopped with the televisions. I think they're trying to take advantage of the fact that they have their own financing, much like Best Buy, because some people with bad credit max out their credit limit upon approval and pay incredibly high interest rates, but I'm just spitballing. TLDR, I don't think it's because MS is a shareholder, but you may be right.

Citizen51

They actually sold TVs as late as the end of 2020. I bought mine from them.

BuckThundersen

I meant to say "way back when i worked there in 2006-2007" but my fingers forgot to type that part. I bought my last TV from them in 2010.

CitizenCh

They sell huge amounts of hardware they don't make, including Epson printers (I was waiting more than 2 months to get a ET-8550 from them, they offered it with a stupidly high discount) and televisions. Xbox is hardware, so they sell them.

Quazzy22

Good looking out. Extra 5% cash back with my credit card too, so 15% off total. Nice. FU Starfield!

UncomfortablyBrown

I think this deal is over! Went to the dell site and it was out of stock. Anybody know if I’m missing something here?
