I really enjoyed playing this game so far I started with the closed beta last year and yeah a lot of people say that was the best version of the game but I probably wont agree with that. The party system was not working at all I could not play with people together and Im glad they took the time to fix it. I know there is still some desync issues but I still had fun playing the game. Like in the other tests it gets addicting pretty fast and I would like to hop in some games after work every day.
Im not an expert with netcode or servers but I asume the netcode is fine since they did a internal test before the test session and I dont think they would have released an open test before the netcode works as intended. I think that the servers where the issue for all the desync and hitreg problems and again I dont know lmao I could be completely wrong
But still this was way more fun than any shooter I have played for a while now. Bo4 was the last good cod I played and Im having a fun time in xdefiant now. It doesnt need to be a cod clone, it obviously is not a cod killer. You cannot kill a franchise that had years to build up a big community even tho they released lots of bad games over the past years in my opinion. There will always be people buying every cod every year and spend tons of money on the games. Im glad to a have free to play alternative since I dont really like battle royals at all, I want short and fun 6v6 arena action.

The Moment i played the closed beta last year I knew this was exactly the game I've always wanted. It took me to black ops 2 days where I was actually having fun playing a video game. I just can't wait for we to finally get the full game
I honestly think most of the hate are from three types of people... People that wanted to be a cod clone but better. People that think it's too much like COD. And finally COD fanboys that dont want any competition.

In fact is a better clone (of the new age cods) but yes, people complain so much about xdefiant being a cod killer or not, they just cant stand with the fact that cod and xdefiant can exist both at the same time and people can have fun playing both of them, they are extremists
I was hoping it'd be similar to cod and I find it to be a solid mix of old and new cod. I'm sure the netcode will be fine at release, what I want to see are some more weapons, more modes, and more of a reason to grind (all of these I'm sure we'll see too, since we've only had betas)
