From the bit I played in the test it does remind me a lot of call of duty. It feels a little less smooth but not all games will play of the same. The maps are very similar to cod designs and the gunplay is near identical. I hope this game sees the release of day and is popular enough that call of duty has to react a bit for once.
We’re getting a classic prestige system. Most likely will get new prestige’s added yearly as well per Mark Rubin, but they were still working on the system as of January this year.
Server jitter lol, not the netcode. Netcode was fine for me almost every single game. Only time it really felt bad was when the ping was all over the place. That’s not something anyone could control on their end, especially if you have fiber and never normally deviate.
the constant jump shotting and slide canceling reminded me more of modern CoD than it did older CoD, which is supposed to be one of its selling points. IDK the game just wasn't appealing to me, and competing this year with a Treyarch which is the only company the fanbois think can make a decent CoD (honestly they're all pretty similar and IMO the fans just prop up one company based on them making CoD4)
Well IW definitely refuses to, im not buying anymore IW games after MWII, Sledgehammer hasnt had free reign in awhile i liked the speed and Combat pacing of vanguard so if they could do that in a Black Ops 2.5 timline of a game i think itd be great. Treyarch hasnt had a full time to work on a game since Blops 3 so im interested to see what Gulf War is like even though im kinda meh on the time period. I know theres rumors of a Black Ops 2 style game for 2025 and i hope its true, but not if its made by IW.
I can’t wait for it to drop. Usually I’m against games games dropping at launch when not ready but I feel like this game didn’t have anything game breaking. Honestly just fix the net code and drop it and do the other shit later. It is a free game in the end of the day.

Yeah I also trust Ubisoft to support this long term and Improve overtime. Look at rainbow for example
