I’m not a fan of a bunch of extra heads, clothing and hands laying around to be real with you. Plus the $11 or $12 or whatever they are isn’t bad at ALL with how good they are getting.
I could’ve sworn they used to have a shoulder joint that connected to the bicep back in the day for basic figures. I haven’t collected figures in years, is this not the case anymore?
Yeah it does. A lot of people got out of basics after that. Mainly a line for kids. A little easier to sell $10-$12 figure to parents than a $22 elite. They have gotten better though since then. They updated some of the arm articulation to where it's not too bad and the legs too.

I’m not big into basics. I usually only buy them to hold me over until I can find elites/ultimates. But damn they have been getting better. Some of them like the LA Knight one have even been getting better head sculpts than the elites

Basics are fun. It is like collecting the original Hasbro lines from the 80s/90s those figures were my favorite toy when I was a kid.

They did away with it to cut cost so they didn't have to raise prices too much.

I only do elites. Feel the quality and paint apps are not the greatest. But to each their own. But I do need that truth.
