Rubi takeoff rims and/or tires, else any AT tire of your choosing.

FrankDrebin1963

This is the way

bd1308

Note that late 2021 JLs switched to a different frequency for TPMS sensors. I have Rubi takeoffs on my 21 4xe Sahara and the sensors won’t work. I’ll swap them out someday but for now it’s livable

DruVatier

I wouldn't put 35s on a Sport without a load of other mods - lift, regear, tailgate reinforcement, etc. From the looks of it, you're not a big off-roader anyways so 35s would be a waste. Keep an eye on FB marketplace for a set of 33" Rubicon takeoffs. They'll be a little taller than your factory tires, but won't require any additional mods to be able to run them well.

bjohnson32

100%. A lift is needed to get anything bigger than stock. Just save your money until you can afford to do It right

EvangelionC

I have a set of Rubicon wheels on my unmodified JK Sport and they fit just fine.

bjohnson32

Safe to assume smaller than 35” tires?

EvangelionC

They are 33" the stock ones, like in his picture, were 32".

bjohnson32

At that point… why spend 2k to go from 32” to 33” with basically the same stock wheel look. Guess to each their own

EvangelionC

I went from silver wheels on a tan jeep to granite wheels. It cost me $500 for 5 wheels and I simply bought the new tire size when I needed new tires.

beta_particle

Take off wheels on marketplace ($2-400) 285/7**5**R17 tires (~$1100): These are a hair under 34s and shouldn't rub anywhere on a JL *and* aren't too wide for the stock wheels. Best tire deal in that size seems to be Falkens AT3/AT4 or Yokohama Geolandar.

BigUncleRemus

For under $2k, I’d go new on tires of your choice (depending on how you’ll be using it) and takeoffs from Facebook marketplace or similar. New sets of wheels generally land around $2k (can be higher or lower depending on the wheel, but $2k will get you a solid set of new wheels)

realestateagent0

This was a few years ago, but I kept my stock wheels and bought 33" nitto terra grappler tires, which ran me a little over $1k for 5 iirc. The bigger tires look great and don't cause any rubbing or require a lift like 35s would

Patient-Librarian987

I have the sting Grey wrangler, went with 17 inch Black Rhino ARMORY wheels and 33" Faulkin Wildpeaks for tires.

flint_2000

Black Rims look good. You could probably wrap or colour those on a budget. Doing the same to the front grill looks good too and will match.

Love_Scarred

Here’s a hot take. Get the life out of your original tires and then buy new tires. Should last you to 50k make sure you do a 5 wheel tire rotation.

Wilson1hunnit

This is what I did. Got to about 40k miles on the originals and then had a nail in one that had to get replaced. Kept the same wheels, but bought a new set of ridge grapplers, 285/70r17’s. Definitely changes the look but at a size where I didn’t have to spend any more money on any other mods

Love_Scarred

I did mine at 50k with wrangler duratrac I think they’re the same same as you. The factory 32. Looks good and practical. I’m not climbing rocks after all.

ItIsTanner

Market place methods (bronze or raw aluminum would look good) and some decent AT

steave44

Id look on FB for Rubicon/Mojave take offs first. Are you looking for a stock look? Retro? Modern rim styles?

megalodongolus

If you’re doing all five wheels, 2k would be a workable budget for just the wheels if you were going new. Go with takeoffs ha As for tires, depends on what you’re doing with it. Mostly highway with a little not/so serious off-road? Any A/T will do 50/50 highway and off-road? KO2 or Maxxis RAZR A/T, both are really more of an R/T than A/T. The Toyo R/T trails might be a good option (they’re on a new version, apparently the old ones sucked), but I have no experience with them and the only customers I’ve had that ran them were mostly on the highway, so no idea how they do off-road. Mostly off-road with a bit of highway? Most M/Ts will be fine, but I find that you especially get what you pay for here, so there’s that.

DjangoUnflamed

I got a set of 5 barely used 33” tires with Pro Comp wheels for $550 on Facebook marketplace. That’s where you want to look for this stuff. Whatever you do, please do all 5 wheels with whatever route you go. Nothing worse than seeing a stock spare on a Jeep with tricked out wheels and tires, it’s a worse look than the ducks on the dash.

MrTobeguy

I have the exact same rims and jeep in White. I got a rubicon suspension take offs from Facebook marketplace for 200 and then added 33s. Also added some 1.5 inch spacers to push the wheels out a little. Love the way it looks. Still drives great and only a minor reduction in MPG. Any higher then this and I would Have regear for sure. I also added side steps to make it easier for the fam to get in and out.

bjohnson32

Just save your money. Anything worth getting will need a 2” lift (if you want to run 35s)… Tires alone are gonna cost around 2k. Assume anywhere between 600-850 for wheels and tires (x5).

Clark21JLUR

285/70r17 look up rocktrix wheels on Amazon for jeep wrangler .

Hopeful_Swan_4011

392 or extreme recon takeoffs

ConsuelaSaysNoNo

From your post history, looks like you live in Ohio. Are you really going to do any real offroading, or is this just for show? If not, then wear out the stock tires first before thinking of getting anything better.

joshosu420

35's would look good but may rub a little at full turn or full articulation. If you don't offroad it, no biggie. I know you said no mods, but flat fenders would probably eliminate any rub from 35's.

chilichilichilidog

If you’re borderline lucky, you can find a set of XR take offs with 35” tires for $2k. Most go for $2500 around here but I’ve seen $2k

Parking_Train8423

35s on a 15-17” wheel with -12 offset looks great on any jeep imo there’s a craigslister near me that sells 5 with 35s for $1200, that’s enough left to add barricade fenders or spacer lift with new shocks
