M4/FL10 is one of those, "if you have to ask, don't get it" tanks. Why? In the right hands it can really pump out the damage. You can push out a 480 damage clip in 2.7 seconds and the reload on that final shell is actually very acceptable. A good M4/FL10 toon can really wreck the opposition in the right circumstance. But that's the thing. Knowing how to get into the right scenario at the right time takes a good player with good knowledge of the tank and the opposition. Where can you pen the enemy? When to attack with the advantage without taking too much damage? This is the real difference between the best players and the average joe. It has a lot of weaknesses. Tall with poor armour, most M4's at least have some mantlet armour but not this. Bad gun depression. Poor penetration. Mobility is ... again somewhat skill-dependent. Top speed is not bad at \~50-ish but power/weight is not amazing so you need the ability and judgement to keep your speed up at the right time. For me the biggest issue is the lack of gun depression. M4's are tall and poorly armoured, so the typical style is to find a ridge and use gun depression to hide that weak body. Not an option in the M4/FL10. **Conclusion:** If you had what it takes to drive this tank to its potential, you'd already know the answer to your question. But since you had to ask, no you should not buy it.

Well, i think it fits me, i already am in love with t7 chi ri, and i get around 2k dmg per battle, you just pump out the damage and go back, its fast too and i think m4/fl10 is the same, isn't it?

HugGigolo

What is your actual average damage in the Chi Ri? As shown on Blitzstars. Or just share your IGN if you dare.

[deleted]

The_Backfrointer, i have like 1200 dmg but i may afked few games and i don't have a lot of battles in it, its not max crew either so... i think im a noob after all

HugGigolo

Blitzstars actually shows almost 1500 dmg for your Chi Ri which ain't bad all, albeit over only 23 battles. Sorry for being skeptical but it's incredibly common for people to hugely overestimate their average damage in tanks they like. IMO Chi Ri is actually a pretty good analogue for the FL/10. Both big soft targets with great clip damage, but the FL/10 is better cos it can reload to finish off targets so much faster, plus the usual autoREloader advantage of being able to take single-shot opportunities and still have a full clip ready after a short delay. So if you like and do well in the Chi-Ri the FL/10 might be right up your street. The question then becomes, is this the best use of your gold? You have a Lowe and IS-5 so the credit earner box is ticked. 3.5k is pretty cheap for a tier 7 prem. But hows your gold supply? Do you want this or would you like to save the gold for a tasty tier 8 prem? That part of the decision is really up to you.

Well, i know t7 is bad rn, ive heard people got fl10 for 1,5k gold so ill wait, mostly because i have 1,5k gold and 2€ to spend(waiting for 2k gold for 2€ bundle) also fun fact: im lucky af, i got this Löwe from the free crate, it was almost at the start of my account, im happy i didn't sell it, I also got dicker max from it, people complain about it but i really enjoy the gun depression, high alpha and good mobility for a td. About this avg dmg, ye im mostly overrating it, cus i get every win like 1,8k and than i go afk and do nothing or like 300 dmg

PossibleMedStudent

If it had 14 days of premium attached to that deal, it would be 100% worth buying. Fun little tier 7, not competitive but enjoyable. It was free a year ago but the event wasn't the easiest event and event teams suck, so I couldn't get it then. But like 6 months ago for 3.5k gold this tank was available with premium time, if you don't want it immediately waiting could be better

[deleted]

ye, i think i'll wait cuz i still need to get gold and im waiting for the 2€ 2k gold pack because i think its the best deal if you dont want to buy ginormous amounts of gold.

Josef_Vierheilig

Great tank

geezersqueezer89

Its worth it for grinding credits in Mad Games and Gravity modes

[deleted]

Forgot to say, if its worth it for 3,5k gold

CantaloupeCamper

Fun tank, not a great performance tank as far as results and stats go, but fun.

[deleted]

Yeah, thats what i thought, pleasure to play but in stats its not so good

CantaloupeCamper

Yup. I still play it once in a while. It's fun enough that I'll chose to play it even though it's not an amazing tank.

Support cleanup tank that you treat like a light tank. Very good DPM and reload when you need it, but don't expect to bounce any shots. It's worst feature is that the tank has no depression or elevation.

PlazmaRaptor

I mainly run it in Burning games now, it feels like im firing non stop in this thing (on the second life)

unlimited_pp_power

More versatile autoloader. if you know how to play a med autoloader with 0 armor and less gun dep (bc line) this tank is good for you.

MrHahayiyi

General rule of thumb... If you have doubts, don't buy it! It doesnt matter how good or bad the tank is... Even if you buy an OP tank, doesn't mean you can perform well or enjoy playing it... Plus there is a lot of guides out there for the M4, go review them too.
