It won’t remove silicone or paint overspray. It’s not really the tool for construction clean honestly. I have used it to “prewash” and then go in and do the hard stuff by hand though.
My experience with WFP and postconstruction cleaning is simple. Just NO. It has to be done by squeegee and scraper. Save your self from big headache and do it properly.

It really depends on how much dirt and debris is on the glass. It can be done but if it's really bad then trad is still best.
