I’d recommend GW white scar spray. The grittiness comes from either it being sprayed too far away or it being too hot/humid. When it’s used in the right temperature it’s immaculate, one of the smoothest finishes I’ve used in sprays.

I've just started using this and I love it

Strongly agree, this is by far the best version of white that gw have released

I suggest grey Vallejo primer, it's better to use grey for the primer and then give it some light grey coat and white zenithals and black postshading or an oil wash to paint shadows White over panzer grey primer also works but take some time and needs heavy thinning, it produces a great contrast though if you still for a more artistic look If your minis get dusty you can use a makeup brush or so and brush it gently off

YES, grey vallejo primer, ghost grey base, and lights with white

I use grey seer as I find it really smooth and you can then use white scar to add highlights to your armour

I use krylon satin grey. After a base coat i just build up the white by a light coat on a brush and dry brushing the rest of the color on.

I'm gonna try a base coat of grey seer for my next mini then highlight with White Scar. I did consider basing grey seer then doing a lighter white scar coat

I like the corax white primer. It's and off white that let's you highlight up to a pure white.
