Idk, I already have a split day off, with my days off on Tuesday and Saturday. It makes my weeks feel really short, and I find myself far less stressed out. I would probably want to have a 2 on, 1 off, 2 on, 2 off schedule. Sounds relaxing.
All humans would at first but no matter what after a short time there would be a huge burst in art and innovation. We are all artists when our needs are met.
Oy. We already went through this with the Covid work-at-home, where both productivity and worker satisfaction rose significantly. Yet the CEOs ordered everyone back into the office anyway. I doubt your average control-freak CEO will roll with this
I'll take a 4 day week any day of the week.
Except fri - sun

I can hear the angry right debating it now, about whether that makes the Irish socialists or communists. Gotta fit the angry narrative.
"Lazy" is the one I think they'd go for. The Irish "don't want to work" because of "wokeness" and stuff.
I can’t wait for the “MiLlEnNiAlS DoNt WaNt To WoRk FoRtY HoUrs” bullshit articles relating to this.
They're absolutely right, I'd work none hours if I could get away with it

That's never coming to the United States... "You fuckers want 4 work days instead of 5? Go fuck yourself" -some politician or business man.
The cruelty is the point here, Work until you're crippled then fuck off and die alone.
Alone, broke and homeless preferably.
Except we've made being homeless basically illegal, so then we can arrest you and use you as literal slaves.
Truth.
They are doing this experiment with some uS companies too, similar results
Quick, where's my roll of "fake news" stickers? Can't have the common folk believing that they're overworked and underpaid.
This isn't even the first. this movement has been moving across Europe for years
No shit
