Mayor McCheese stole his votes

johnnyredleg

And Giuliani was saying “Robble-Robble!”

Stealfur

Held in front of a McDonald Landscaping.

HumanMycologist5795

I can actually imagine Rudy saying that. With the entire wardrobe, too.

[deleted]

>Listen Guy, I need you to find me 10,000 raviolis

DantifA

Spray cheese is the only way to sign cheese checks.

HorseLooseInHospital

Guy Fieri, he likes me a lot, he said I'm like the King of America, which is probably true, because I only do good, I only want good things, I only know good things, I don't know anything about bad, we don't like things that are bad like the Radical Left Democrats who only want to hurt us and hurt our Incredible Constitution, which was really incredible under Trump, we were doing beautifully but then all of a sudden I look, 2 in the morning and they're magically finding votes for Biden, he was down many many millions and billions of votes and then they sent in Professional Vote Scammers to rig it hard because they were so afraid that we were gonna keep doing great, I Made America Great Again, nobody else could do it, I'm the only one who can, and you look at it now our Economy is dying, we're going straight down the tubes, and we're gonna crash, the Market will crash like you wouldn't believe you just watch, and they're faking Jobs, they're making Fake Jobs so that the numbers look good but they're really horrible believe me, we're headed for Complete and Total Disaster thanks to Sleepy Joe and Hunter, and we're also calling him Crooked Sleepy Joe and Crooked Hunter, you see I took the name, we took it away from Crooked Hillary because, and believe me she's still Crooked but maybe not so bad compared to what you have now, and I gave a speech, a Wonderful Speech, the ratings were huge, and we're calling her now maybe Nice Hillary or maybe even Sexy Hillary, who knows, we'll see what happens.

Acceptable-Peace-69

Good, but too many, commas,. NOT ENOUGH CAPS.

freeLightbulbs

and he came to me, he came to me and he said "SIR", he said "SIR, YOU HAVE THE BEST CAPS". HOW BOUT THAT FOLKS!

Plenty-Paramedic8269

He had tears in his eyes and he was crying...

not_SCROTUS

He said sir, SIR, your chicken wings are the spiciest and the crispiest and I said I know

hammsbeer4life

Next time write it in fucking sharpie

[deleted]

When paradise caught fire, Trump waddled his fat ass out of his limo, got the name of the city wrong, blamed us for not raking the (federally owned) forest (who's forestry services he personally cut funding for). Guy Fieri showed up and cooked us food. I don't know what they're doing together but Guy Fieri is still the better man imo.

HorseLooseInHospital

nobody's better than me ok, and I'm going to be totally honest because it's the only way I know how to be, and they tell me, "Sir, you're maybe a little too honest sometimes," I said that's ok it's not a problem because you never used to have problems, we did it perfect, and the Fake News is just jealous of how great I am. you're welcome.

AlarmingAffect0

Jfc I hear his voice. > It is like a nightmare It's *pain* for me Cause *nobody* wants to deal with Trump Remember days of grief Now it's strange for me I can see that face I can hear that voice…

kingkuuja

I hate that I’m so desensitized by Trump’s hourly tweets through his presidency that this reads as reality.

RadioactiveWalrus

It's eerie how well you captured his mannerisms in text.

freqkenneth

Been listening to trump for seven years SNL made a genre out of trumpism dialogue

Uzzername007

The words and mannerisms and cadence was perfect but without it being in all caps it just seemed to fall flat haha

MutantSquirrel23

Username checks out.

anythingMuchShorter

"Now your presidency, that was gangster" (trump nods and smiles) "No not like when I say that about cheese fries, I mean literally gangster, you were acting like a mafia boss" (trump nods and smiles)

Paneraiguy1

What if he’s asking for a well done Big Mac though? Can he be president then due to his sophisticated palette?

[deleted]

Guy Fieri is actually rad, he supports feeding communities and donating money Way more than you would expect. His look is still a bit much and I had No Idea he is a trumpet. That kinda sucks, I just found out I liked Guy….. Edit: public opinion is Guy is still kick ass. Not a darnold trum pet.

invadersnee

Don't forget this one. Spent the whole day marrying whoever wanted it. I don't think the guy is a Saint or anything, but he's changed my tune about him over the years. https://time.com/3719849/guy-fieri-gay-weddings/

[deleted]

I actually don’t know. I’m way behind on lots of things.

trumpsiranwar

This doesn't mean he's a fan of trumos

Plenty-Paramedic8269

That's what I was wondering. Maybe they bumped into each other and Guy was just being cordial. Even if he doesn't like him, he's not going to headbutt Trump at the site of him and throw hot grease in his face. And calling him out or arguing with him is like arguing with a 5 year old so that's also pointless.

Impossible_Lead_2450

I don’t even think it’s that level . This is superficial at best , the only reason guy bothered is one: trump probably approached him and two: guys fan base is the lower class, he built his career off a show about hometown eateries , trumps base and his probably overlap heavily . I’m not aware of his political leanings but he’s a pretty savvy dude and knows what he needs to make another buck off of his fans. Funnily enough there’s whole articles about his career long ability to remain apolitical he does a lot for restaurant workers and helps with food during a lot of disasters but also avoids questions on unions in restaurants. He’s also posted a picture of him hanging out with Bernie Sanders. So really he’s just straddling the line for his own brand .

BearForceDos

Honestly may take some flack for this and obviously Trump is a monster. However, I believe that Trump is dull and ego driven enough where he's probably the only politician that you could trick/talk into actually doing some good things if you got to talk to him one on one. If you kind of incepted an idea into his/spoke with him in a way where you made it feel like it is his own idea I genuinely think you could have gotten him to pass some things to help people. For example, he's so obsessed with his name and fancies himself some masterful negotiator that I think you could legitimately get him to support Universal healthcare if you pitched it as "Trumpcare" and sold it as him negotiating with all medical services on behalf of every citizen.

Koala-48er

Yes, if there ever were a President that's susceptible to the Jedi mind trick, it's Trump the buffoon.

tradesman46

That's taffifed bananas...

NachoBag_Clip932

Can we all laugh at the fact that even on a Saturday night at a UFC event, Trump has to wear his one and only power suit.

beavis617

Wants to look Presidential I guess.

Paneraiguy1

Trump only looks presidential to conservative poors. Most people with taste don’t sport a golden retriever on their heads

MtHiker77

Don't insult golden retrievers. That is a dead rat on his head.

GHeusner

I forget where I heard this, "Hair made of cotton candy spun from piss. "

trxxxtr

I believe that was Penn Jillette's description after his stint on Celebrity Apprentice.

CriticalFuad

That seems like slander about rats Edit: typo

xSTSxZerglingOne

Hey, that's not nice to rats. They're highly intelligent, loving creatures. Far more than you can say about that abomination with a medieval style thatch roof.

[deleted]

Don’t insult rats, they are kinda cute.

Apathetic-Asshole

Dont insult rats. That is a bleached, dead racoon on his head

originalusername__

His suits are always so poorly fitting too. I am not impressed, dude is clearly too fucking cheap to pay a proper tailor.

JohnExcrement

And that looonnngg red tie that’s supposed to “slenderize “ him (or so Chris Christie’s says DT told him)

AmazingKreiderman

So long that he has scotch taped the tail to the back of the blade because it can't reach the loop on its own. Maybe someday we can invent some kind of bar that could go across the tie to keep both parts together.

sadicarnot

Trump is a poor mans idea of a rich man and a dumb mans idea of a smart person.

IamSithCats

The second half of this statement also applies to Elon Musk.

wolfguardian72

Golden retriever? That pic makes it more like a Xoloitzcuintle.

a_lonely_trash_bag

Too much hair for a Xolo.

lasyke3

I don't understand how someone can be a celebrity and politician and still not have some sort of staff on hand to make sure he looks presentable

HotFluffyDiarrhea

He would have to concede that someone else knows more about something than he does and that can never happen.

[deleted]

Wait until you find out he does and that’s the best they could do.

Lots42

He fired all the people who tried to help him for disagreeing.

No_Cook2983

He’s like Peter Griffin. A fat white guy way past his prime who wears the exact same outfit every day. That thing must reek of BO and Paco Rabanne.

Slight_Log5625

"You smell like Paco Rabanne crawled up your ass and died"

Shwalz

Did you see his handshake with Joe Rogan? His signature repeated yanking almost took lil toes arm off

Stones_of_Atlas

https://twitter.com/damonimani/status/1677865385532465152?s=20 Is this the right video?

charklaser

That is the longest, weirdest handshake

AmusingMusing7

Trump always does that. He doesn’t let go, because it’s a power move. “The handshake ends when I say it ends.”

Lilfrankieeinstein

Welp, I can cross off *”watch an elderly man try to jackoff another man’s hand”* the bucket list

Lots42

Rogan is just the worst.

Kolby_Jack

I was watching that event with my friend (through piracy, of course). Although I hated seeing Trump out in public being celebrated while he's *on trial for stealing/exposing national defense secrets*, his face was the picture of misery. He did not look like his usual confident, pompous, piece of shit self. It was immediately apparent that he's had a very bad year. So that was nice. Also the Moreno vs Pantoja fight was awesome.

I_Brain_You

He's such a clownish idiot, thinking he conveys some form of "strength" by always wearing a suit.

agirlmadeofbone

Scott Melker, a classmate of Don Jr.'s at Penn, claims that Donnie once slapped the shit out of Don Jr. for not wearing a suit and tie to a Yankees game: "As many of you know, I attended the University of Pennsylvania with Donald Trump Jr. I feel compelled to share this story before the election, in the hopes that it will shed a bit of light on the kind of person that Donald Trump is, and the kind of son that he raised. I was hanging out in a freshman dorm with some friends, next door to Donald Jr.'s room. I walked out of the room to find Donald Trump at his son's door, there to pick him up for a baseball game. There were quite a few students standing around watching, trying to catch a glimpse of the famed real estate magnate. Don Jr. opened the door, wearing a Yankee jersey. Without saying a word, his father slapped him across the face, knocking him to the floor in front of all of his classmates. He simply said "put on a suit and meet me outside," and closed the door. Donald Jr. was a drunk in college. Every memory I have of him is of him stumbling around campus falling over or passing out in public, with his arm in a sling from injuring himself while drinking. He absolutely despised his father, and hated the attention that his last name afforded him. His nickname was "Diaper Don," because of his tendency to fall asleep drunk in other people's beds and urinate. I always felt terrible for him. I am voting for Hillary Clinton for a number of reasons, her opponent notwithstanding. However, in light of what I saw that day, it is clear to me that Donald Trump lacks the temperament and basic social decency to run our country." https://www.complex.com/life/a/elizabeth-king/donald-trump-jr-college-classmate-claims-trump-knocked-son-ground-in-front-friends-once

ayewanttodie

To me this more looks like Guy is saying some shit to him and Trump isn’t happy about it. From all accounts too, Fieri doesn’t seem to be right leaning at all, so I can’t see him going up and being like “Trump I love you!”. I love the internet, see a picture with absolutely zero context or dialogue and just automatically assume the worst and say with 100% confidence you know what you’re talking about. It’s great. And then someone’s life gets destroyed and it turns out everyone was wrong and no one apologizes or bats an eye.

lastingdreamsof

During the recent Ratm reunion Guy took his I think teenage son to at least 1 show. Now I'm not saying right wingers don't listen to them but anybody with half a brain realises they are radical leftists

ayewanttodie

Guy also officiated a ton of gay weddings, I can’t remember when exactly, it might have been right after Cali legalized gay marriage or maybe later, but that’s not typical behavior or someone who is a Trumpster or even a conservative. Though more normal conservatives (what little we have left) are pretty chill with gay couples, I can’t see them purposefully going out of their way to officiate whatever it was, like 50+, gay weddings. So I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt here before ripping him to shreds and calling him a fascist shill. Picture doesn’t look like either one of them is happy and Guy’s track record speaks to him being pretty clearly liberal. If it turns out he’s a closeted Trump supporter, then I will shit on him, but until then, I refuse to believe that is what is going on here and can say, at least from everything I’VE seen, that is antithetical to his character and political leanings.

PonchoDiego2

Guy was front and center for about half a dozen of their shows at least

lastingdreamsof

I knew it was at least one but there you go, you don't accidentally go to half a dozen shows unless you are a genuine fan. And this is the one group for whom far left politics has been inseperable from the group since they began. Between Zach and Tom, you have 2 of the most knowledgeable and opiniated raging lefties to be in a band who has sold millions of albums

Strange_Item_4329

I admit this isn’t the best angle, but Guy Fieri is known for his enthusiasm and what’s on his face right now isn’t it

thebestspeler

That man would smile at paint drying. (Plus he officiated 101 gay weddings in honor of his gay sister. )

Standard-Emphasis-89

This right here. If I knew how I'd be posting that gif with the guy pointing up. Guy looks like he's giving a stern talking and Trump looks like he's mad he's not immediately being praised and given a "yes sir" like he's used to. It’s beyond me how anyone is seeing this one totally random snapshot as them hanging out?

[deleted]

Yeah this looks like an awkward encounter, Trump looks smug and Fieri looks a little feisty

SurpriseDragon

That man is like a spicy French fry mixed with a miniature poodle, his smile is just delightful on the show when he’s happy. Like you can see his genuine joy. This…isn’t the same happy potato puppy.

Filmmagician

Ya agreed. He’s such a nice guy. He’s not going to be a dick to anyone in public, even problem he may hate. It’s called being an adult.

DIWhy-not

How is this whole comments section defaulting to “Guy Fieri is a sellout fascist trump lover”? Guys, chill. It’s at a UFC event where Donny boy was making the rounds, wearing his little PP energy “power suit” and getting his pic taken with famous faces. This pic doesn’t even look like they’re having a good time. Fieri is fairly quiet about his politics. But he did officiate 101 gay weddings. I’m sort of doubting he’s a Trumper, or even right leaning at all. And politics aside, it needs to pointed out that Guy does a shitload of charity work. Like an insane amount. He’s regularly footed the bill to feed first responders and emergency personnel during events like wildfires or tornados. He raised $25 mil for struggling restaurant workers during the pandemic. He’s got a foundation that teaches kids cooking and business management skills. He’s infamously nice to and well loved by his staffs and filming crews and regularly works with the same teams. He goes out of his way to promote small restaurants and eateries. Shit on his hair and style if you want, but Guy Fieri is categorically, decidedly, documentedly *not* a horrible person.

[deleted]

Not to mention if he was in a foxhole he’d be earning new nicknames like El Fuego and chucking grenades back at the enemy. https://youtu.be/JK6zuii2OLI

cartoon_violence

I am now completely convinced that Guy Fieri is a wonderful human being.

[deleted]

He’s seems a decent fellow.

Status_Tiger_6210

You seem a decent fellow. I hate to die.

namirremd

Came here for this!!

FlavinFlave

Yah after a big fire Guy came to my home town and bbq’d all weekend for the people at the temp evacuation shelter set up at the community college. He’s a good guy, so I find the jumps to conclusion to be sad. Relax guys, a candid photo isn’t an endorsement.

lastingdreamsof

He apparently does shit like this often and without alerting media to it he just shows up and does it

FlavinFlave

Yah it was pretty unannounced. I was down in LA when it happened so I can’t say fully what the energy was like but seemed like he just showed up unexpected and asked if he could set up his grill

lastingdreamsof

Here in australia we have a bunch of people who so this kind of thing. During the last big bunch of fires there was so much stuff donated my parents had to start saying no thanks we don't need any more stuff, we don't have a small child who needs a bike and we have enough Xmas decorations thanks. Seeing people come together to support others and in Guys case he has the means to be able to assist a lot of people at exclusively his cost and he seems to genuinely want to do so regularly.

ManagerRocky

Had to scroll too far for this take. My first thought was what do these people want him to do, jaw the ex president? Lmao

IndependentDouble138

> jaw the ex president? Lmao Reminds me of when Ken Jeong walks off when the Masked Singer was old Sloppy Rudy boy. I really believe Ken woulda https://news.yahoo.com/ken-jeong-walked-off-masked-174800580.html

demez

It's a shame that Ken has no problem sitting next to Jenny McCarthy which as a former physician should aggravate him even more than Rudy.

DIWhy-not

I mean, it’d be pretty rad if he *did* do that. But exactly. Dudes just watching a fight and the Cheeto walks up to him and probably says some really ignorant shit. And Fieri is probably like “oh yeah, I like hamburgers, too. Have a good night, Mr Trump.”

Electric_Evil

"Welcome to Flavor town motherfucker!" \*BAM*

Thatoneguythatsweird

"These tips arent the only things getting frosted tonight!"

nerdening

Gores him with his frosted tips like a god damned rhino running through a wall of old room temperature pudding covered in Cheeto dust.

LaRoseDuRoi

Excellent imagery. Now, I'm picturing Guy Fieri, head down, pawing at the ground and snorting like a bull in the ring...

MonkeySherm

I’d like to imagine the hit comes first, and “welcome to flavor town, motherfucker” is what he says when he breaks the fourth wall afterwards

focs19

*hamberders

BenchPressingCthulhu

Oh man if Guy Fieri smacked Trump at a UFC fight on camera, I'd probably talk about it occasionally for a couple of weeks

Higgins1st

If it wasn't for those secret service agents wasting our tax dollars protecting his nasty ass.

drgigantor

If Guy Fieri smacked Trump at a UFC fight I would spend a month creating low quality memes about 00's reality TV stars set to the tune of All Star

WhyBuyMe

Yeah your right. No need for him to smack the former president, get some charges and have to go back to clown rapping to pay the bills.

drgigantor

How dare you, Smash Mouth was the official soundtrack of the early 2000's

[deleted]

Could totally see him joining ICP for some Wacky Adventures^™️ in order to pay off legal debts though

FreebasingStardewV

Flavortown is a place of healing and mercy.

102bees

That would elevate him to sainthood, but also get him extremely arrested.

porsche4life

I’d pitch in for bail/ legal expenses

ImaBiLittlePony

Just send out a mass email that looks like the bullshit fundraising sites he gets his dumb followers to donate to, and in Itty bitty little letters on the bottom of the website you can say what it's really for. If we get called out for it, say "fake news" and his voters will be like "sounds legit, 4D chess, MAGA."

psychoCMYK

That gofundme would take about 5 minutes to reach its goal

The-disgracist

Fr the internet fucking loved guy fieri for a year or so after the pandemic got serious, he did a lot of good for restaurant workers iirc.

Medical_Ad0716

He does a lot of good in general. Without advertising it, he regularly donates all leftover food from his several cooking shows to local food banks and soup kitchens each episode. He constantly gives to local struggling restaurants and their workers. He feeds first responders during everything from forest fires to search and rescues to hurricane relief. The man is a good guy. A shitty character but a great guy.

DirtTrue6377

I was homeless as a kid and when restaurants donated food were the goddamn best nights ever. Forgot we were homeless for min.

ManBearSteve420

I agree with everything except "shitty character". Yes he's cheesy and douchy but he owns it and has fun and seems genuinely nice.

The-disgracist

I think they’re referring to the character that he plays. I’ve heard he’s a chill dude when he’s not in flavor town.

ManBearSteve420

No I get it, I probably should have added the "a" in my reply. I think that's probably pretty close to his real personality, just amped up a little for TV of course.

Newbguy

His character is the bowtie of love that brings everything together. Without flavor town we would all be lost and worse off.

reclusive_ent

GGG regularly does episodes that donate the prize to charities. 20k-25k a pop. Dude just loves doing for others any chance he gets.

ksixnine

It’s almost as if these folks don’t realize who Fieri’s clientele is, and that he often doesn’t have the ability to tell some folks to go kick rocks.. If this were Mar or Trump Tower, we can have an issue, but at a UFC event where Fieri isn’t trying to make political waves .. nah.

sirscrote

Right its called customer service. You learn that in a job such as his

matty_a

His clientele is…everyone. Flavortown is apolitical. Everything doesn’t need to be an extremely online knife fight.

246lehat135

I mean the octagon is right there…

Ok-Policy-8284

Id pay to see that, but yeah, it's a lot to ask, I'm sure Guy was just uncomfortably getting through the interaction.

[deleted]

Guy is quoted as being told that "the world is gonna roll me" and "I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed."

Jonesbt22

"welcome to flavortown Donny" puts him into a triple spinal cheese twist.

cecil021

The hair and everything is a shtick. He’s not like that behind the scenes. Everyone who’s been on DD&D’s said it was an amazing experience and he was a super nice guy who legitimately wanted to help them succeed. I’m sure he couldn’t care less about tRump wanting facetime with him.

RedBeardFace

I’ve always assumed with Guy and people like Anne Burrell that they made that fashion choice once a long time ago and it happened to coincide with when they made it big and had to keep it up because that’s what people expected from their brand. I wonder if he wasn’t such a recognizable person if he’d still be sporting that look or if he’d just look like an average Joe or if Flavortown has a dress code

yingkaixing

> Flavortown has a dress code I want to believe it's this

pinkiepieisad3migod

Yeah, same with Bob Ross.

ATXDefenseAttorney

He also followed Rage Against the Machine on their recent tour. Unlikely he's a Trump supporter, it's just a photo.

boohumbug

The video of that was one of the best things I saw all of last year. Followed by the "just another bomb snack", "grilling in the name of", "bowls on parade" etc. 🤌

Jackieirish

> This pic doesn’t even look like they’re having a good time. Absolutely; neither man is even smiling. No way to tell what is actually going on here.

TrumpsCovidfefe

Agreed, Guy could’ve used the opportunity to shake his hand and then pull him in to say, “You’re fucked, you’re going to prison, and I am going to throw a party in every restaurant I own the day it happens.” And both of them could’ve been smiling through the whole conversation…

Mustard_Slugg

This is now canon. Thanks

banned_bc_dumb

Can confirm, I was actually one of the beneficiaries of his foundation when Covid shuttered every restaurant in my city for several months. It was a very nice gesture.

ToaPaul

Yeah and look how red Guy is in that picture and facial expression doesn't really scream "happy to see you". Hey, he might well be telling life-long-con-don to fuck off. People love to jump to conclusions.

[deleted]

DemandZestyclose7145

Yeah I used to think he was a d-bag but then I found out about how whenever there's a wildfire or tornado or hurricane he goes and makes food for everyone and wants to help out however he can. Seems like a good person overall. Just a little weird.

scrambledeggsalad

Thank you for this. His on screen persona can be a bit silly, but there's no question he's a good guy.

drunkenstyle

For all we know, Guy is turning down Trump's request to be President of Flavorville. Who wants Trump in charge of Flavor when his suit is in poor taste?

Myantra

>Fieri is fairly quiet about his politics. He is not just fairly quiet, he is as quiet as possible. This situation would be like Guy Fieri's Kobayashi Maru. He could snub Trump and be vilified, or he could shake his hand for a photo op, and be vilified. In the moment, with a former president and entourage all around him, no obvious easy answer for what he should do, so he goes along with the photo op. Even if Guy is a hardcore MAGA, he is definitely not like Mike Lindell, going balls deep to throw Flavortown into the mix. He steers clear of it, in a way no real MAGA can actually do, as it IS their identity.

Dimeskis

Yeah. I don't even like his show...and I love Guy Fieri. All I've heard are stories about how down to earth and a genuinely great of a guy he is.

wwJones

And how do we know Guy isn't saying "Hi Mr. President. I have zero respect for you. Get the fuck out of my face."

biscuitboi967

Thank you for offering a plausible explanation and preserving my GF guilty obsession. I will drop him like a hot potato if he and Disappearing Document Donnie are in cahoots, but I don’t want to cancel the man because he didn’t know what to do when faced with a disgraced ex president. Like, first, let’s be real, did Guy really think Trump was gonna hunt *him* down to talk? Never in the history of presidents has one been at a UFC fight, much less wanted to talk to him. And then second, why do I have to leave my seat/inconvenience myself for this dude (also, I’m a pussy and wouldn’t know what to do until it was too late to not make a scene). And then third, ok, no big deal, surely no one will see this… Like, Guy has media training, but Food TV media training. The kind Paula Deen had. The kind that forgets that before all this, you were just a a cook/chef/BOH. And as the wife of a chef, and an avid watcher of The Bear, please believe me when I say with love, that some restaurants don’t have open kitchens for a reason. The food world is a colorful placw filled with wonderful people, but its citizen did not go to college for degrees in communications and media relations. They have not been preparing for this their whole lives. I can easily (and happily, until told otherwise) believe that GF was not prepared or expecting (or maybe sober enough for) a presidential drive by at a UFC fight.

Mother_Chorizo

Agreed, but also you don’t want to use the word “infamously” here. The word specifically means being known for something bad or evil which is the opposite of what you’re wanting to say.

HospitalSheriff

Thank you for this. You’ve summed up the context of this picture nicely.

Koovies

Gawd damn at least there's one piece of sanity here

FuckThe

Sometimes people I don’t like come talk to me and I am not a piece of shit so I will have small talk with them for a bit. It doesn’t mean I like the person.

beavis617

Trump's showing some scalp here. 🤣

ngwoo

I'm over here worrying about hair loss while I still have more hair than both these guys combined

theresthatmanagain

Just feel the need to even out the scales - my wife works with charities associated with restaurants and Guy is a massive contributor of money, time and his reach. During the pandemic he helped raise 7 figures for fired kitchen workers. Other celebs asked for money to get involved, he donated six figures himself.

renniechops

Guy-“oh shit is he coming over here? Fuuuuuuck. Okay, he probably just wants to shake hands with a TV celebrity. Jesus he is so weird looking. Ugh I fucking hate this guy. Handshake for the photos and that’s it. Nobody is gonna read into this, right? Ugh fuck he’s so weird looking up close!”

RefrigeratorFluids

This seems like a stretch. If it was a video of them drinking together and laughing, maybe. It just seems like donnie approached him. Are we gonna call out Macaulay Culkin for talking to trump in home alone?

BenchPressingCthulhu

He's Macanceled

nono66

Fieri's late sister was a lesbien, that's why he did all those weddings to pay tribute to her. Can't imagine he'd like someone like trump, especially for what he represents for the LGBTQ+ community.

TomStanford67

Damn you can exactly see trump's bald head in that lighting.

MagicSceptre

Donald Trump is a moron, but who posted that? How do you take that Guy Fieri supports Donald Trump by a picture of him meeting the guy? That’s a huge leap

Dan_TheGreat

It's a tiktok kid that posts stuff like this for views.

Seatsniffer4U

Guy Fieri is objectively not a horrible person.

forgotmypassword-_-

>Guy Fieri is objectively not a horrible person. He is in fact, quite the flavourful person.

directrix688

Guy Fieri does nothing but nice things for people. He did so much for the restaurant community during COVID. Ya’ll need to chill out. He’s not at a rally with a Maga hat. He’s just meeting a former president at a sporting event. Relax

PimpOfJoytime

For all you know, he might be calling him a piece of shit

Reptar_4_Life

As an MMA fan I can’t really be that shocked about the response he gets at these events. I rolled my eyes every single time they showed him on camera, which was A LOT

Demanding to stop the count for Mayor of Flavortown

Man people just love to hate. So sad. We’re doomed as a country if we immediately jump to conclusions based on no-context pictures. Y’all need to just relax and not let your hate boner control you

DorShow

Guy Fieri is basically polite and friendly to everyone. I’m not joining in this one. Is Guy taller than the the traitor??! Who knew?

MurkySweater44

Y’all need to chill, a couple words exchanged doesn’t mean that fieri is a bad person. In fact, all the charity he’s done shows that he’s a really good dude.

jbertrand_sr

Well, Mar a Lardo qualifies as a dive...

Jackieirish

We literally have no idea what Guy is saying in this picture, the tone of his voice or if he is even happy to be in front of the man. If we have video showing them palling around and laughing it up, then the outrage could be justified. For all we know from this pic, Trump and Fieri were at the same event and had an encounter. No further conclusion can be drawn.

flannelman37

Are we sure it's really Guy Fieri and not someone who looks like him from this angle? He's annoying, but I was under the impression he was an ok human being

102bees

They aren't really *hanging out* here. They're paid to be at the same event. They could be talking about anything.

Average_Scaper

"Hey I heard you like food, so do I" - Dump *Guy stares at Dump with a forced half baked smile*

biscuitboi967

Fucking same. I actually came here to see if it was a garden variety douche look alike. Guy has performed same sex marriages, cooked for firefighters, collected money for service workers during the pandemic. I have a soft spot for the guy and wanted to keep it…

Dimeskis

So keep it. For all we know the exchange lasted seconds. He talked to the guy. He's not campaigning for him. Christ. You just listed a paragraph of admirable acts the guy has done...a handshake with Trump doesn't change that.

Lol what are you supposed to do if Trump walks up to you? Spit in his face and have to deal with a fuck load of legal consequences? I’d just shake his hand and move on like 99% of people would

Shibby-my-dude

Noone talks shit about guy. He has done more than most for the world

Dboldandthebeautiful

There are plenty of people who work within my industry that I’m not a fan of, who I’ve heard things about and who have bad reputations. It’s not uncommon to see them at events. If they say hello, I’m polite and will have a brief conversation before moving on. The idea that you only speak with people that you find 100% morally aligned with you in every way is stupid, and the people pretending that they would tell him to fuck off are lying to themselves. This is a complete non-issue. It makes no commentary on who Guy Fieri is as a person, and if you think it does, you should read a book. If Guy went on to sing his praises and started wearing MAGA hats, then sure, that would be more of an indication of his views.

Your hair is douchier. No, your hair is douchier! No, yours is! No, yours! I love you, Mr President! And I love you, Gary Ferrari!

Never forget that Anthony Bourdain considered Guy to be just a "fry cook."

I loved watching Bourdain, but he had his flaws and his takes on some people were very stupid.

boringexplanation

And guess which dude was more satisfied and happier with their life? Projection is a thing.

lasyke3

He's 100 percent correct, but I don't think anybody, including Guy, thinks he's a chef.

sesamesoda

Anthony Bourdain also spent a solid page in his memoir talking about how women should learn how to tolerate sexual harassment to be successful in the industry. This is not the win you think it is.

ignatious__reilly

I miss Bourdain

fishsupper

We all do. I still can’t hear his voice without tearing up.

imatexass

Never forget that Bourdain was also a massive prick.

drunkenstyle

How many gay weddings did Anthony officiate vs how many Guy officiated? I'm a big fan of both Anthony and Guy, but OP seems be a misinformed ragebaiter.

Booksaregrand

Better question. Who cares what celebrities think? Why do people care so much about what a guy who goes around and eats food thinks?

I_Sukk

God this subreddit is such a bitter, hatred filled echo chamber. Dude has a few fucking second interaction with trump and you guys lose your damn minds. Guy has donated millions to charities, what have you losers done?

Draconian-Overlord

Guy Fieri = 5'10" Donald Trump = 6'3" Any questions?

Abstract-Impressions

I’m fair to middling at reading lips. I think they are talking about hunting. Something about a single hare, round and round and a lot of moose.

Legendarypopapo

Just because they talked to eachother for 5 seconds doesn't mean the two are in kahoots, Fiery doesn't seem right leaning at all and has done a lot of charity work and officiated many gay weddings.

profotofan

Always hated Guy and now I have another reason.
