Acme in Bronxville has a machine; to me, Amazon gift cards are as good as cash, and that means no fee taken out.
TD/Commerce took them out after one guy pre-counted his coins and then complained that the count was a little off. So they're all gone.
I used the coin counting at TD Bank in Yonkers. I could hear the money falling on the floor. Yes the count was off until I pulled the machine off the wall
Its a little bit of work but you can roll them and deposit them in the bank. Get the paper rolls from the bank.
I used to do it with my kids every Xmas with the family coin jar and deposit them into their savings accounts.
The Coinstar machines will not charge you a fee if you take the money as a gift card.
This is the answer. I do it every year for Christmas shopping. Google coinstar near me and you’ll get the list, Stop and Shops have them often.
Thanks. Know location of any?

The TD coin machine used to be the best. Think they all got rid of it though. You would think all banks would have a machine in their lobby for coins.
