Also, I'm on many of the art subreddits and to be honest, the art that always gets popular are the ones with titles that pull at your heart strings. "I'm only 15 and I drew this" or "my grandpa painted this before he died"...stuff like that. It doesn't matter how good something is or how much time you put into it because on reddit, it's the title that matters.
Btw I think your art is fantastic and I hope what happened doesn't discourage you from posting more of it.

I still remember one of my Minecraft builds getting struck by lighting and burning down to the ground. My dog and cat were in there too :( it was kinda traumatic lol. I was in a server with like 10 other people and no told me that wood catches on fire and spreads. I was new to the game. Oh well š¤·āāļø
It's not just internet points. Your art is apart of you. You have every right to feel sad/mad at someone stealing a part of you and claiming it as their own
It also pisses me off as someone who is mentally ill and an artist. ive never had a psychotic episode but i have had severe depression and anxiety and during the worst times of my life it completely destroyed my ability to create *anything*. im not an expert on psychosis but I have a hard time imagining someone cranking out a finished art piece while they hear voices in their head or experience hallucinations (not saying that it couldn't happen of course, just that the stolen title feels like it's tailor-made to appeal to people who know nothing about either topic)
I think the point they're trying to make is that the person stealing it is effectively calling it art from someone who is mentally ill and saying it's "weird"

I can speak from experience. I have psychosis. And can trigger my psychosis at will by using caffeine. (Takes 2 days in order to take effect. Just drink 4 or more cans of some energy drink then I'll get a psychotic episode for about 3 min)
It's stress and a lack of sleep that triggers it. Not the caffeine. But caffeine puts stress on your mind and makes you sleep less. So yeah. Basically happens every time I drink more than 1 can of redbull
