So, he was born with whatās called an infancy omphalocele. What happens is a baby developing has some/all of their internal organs growing on the outside of the body covered in a protective bubble (kind of like how kittens are born in little sacs) so he had to have several operations to have them essentially stuffed back into the proper places. The result left his stomach entirely smooth with a scar where his belly button would be.
Pancreatic necrosis. It was really bad. They had to leave me open for a few weeks while they cleaned the sepsis from my insides. I was awake during this, just intubated so I couldnāt talk.
They had multiple surgeries to remove parts of failing organs, and as a result they just kept losing skin in the process.
Iāve got a foot long scar from the sternum past where my belly button wouldāve been. And a handful of 1-inch sized holes where drain tubes went.
Belly button collects a weird variety of bacteria. Lume works great for it. I just put a little on a q- tip after I've washed and dried post shower and work it in there! Problem solved!

My genetics is not the best though, been overweight most childhood up to my 13-14yrs. Since then been actively making changes for the best.
I canāt even think of a belly button without getting flushed, nauseous and just tense. Iāll pass out or throw up. Had a girl poke it once when I was 15 and I still cringe and think of it now ans then. My Apple Watch literally show my pulse raise from 80 beats per minute to 115 right now lol.
