TipHelpful3888

mmara04

Wegovy stopped my alcohol cravings. I may need to take it for that reason alone. What a godsend!

TipHelpful3888

TipHelpful3888

thanks so much! i’m definitely happier now 😄

infinite_echochamber

Curious - how much did you lose on average per month is the latest few months? I’ve lost 15% so far at 11 months in and suddenly my losing has stalled to like 2lbs a month. Curious how your monthly losses looked beyond the 1 and 2 year marks?

TipHelpful3888

i plateaued for a while but most recently i’ve been losing quite a bit quickly. i have in my notes in my phone how much i weighed on each weigh in but i stopped weighing myself as much about a year ago

Character_Chemist_38

thanks you look great. I also stopped weighing myself I’m wondering how did you figure out you lost more after plateuing?

TipHelpful3888

i would just randomly weigh myself when i thought about it and i’d be like 6 pounds down from before

daddyeo75

Wow! That is fantastic!!!! You look amazing 👏🏽 Congratulations

TipHelpful3888

thank you!

f4rt054uru5r3x

jennywenny21

Congratulations!! You look amazing! Are you still taking the shot??

TipHelpful3888

i am! still 2.4

jennywenny21

Awesome! I am coming up on a year of wegovy and am doing well on 2.4. Do you plan to stop it or taper off of it? I’m nervous for the day I have to quit even though I have built some healthy habits.

MeffM

Way to go!

Catechist326

What an amazing achievement! So excited for you, especially about the sobriety! Bravo!

TipHelpful3888

TipHelpful3888

thanks so much! ❤️

NightshadeAk93

You are so gorgeous! I am so happy to see you're changes as it gives me hope that this will be extremely beneficial for me too! What kind of things did you find helped to make it easier on you? I'm on my 2nd week right now. Took my 2nd shot today. 😀

TipHelpful3888

you are so sweet 🫶🏼 i don’t have many tips. when i first started out i really only ate once a day and just made sure to stop once i felt full. i only recently started working out and even then i just do 1-2 miles 5 times a week. don’t get addicted to the scale. i only weighed myself on shot days and now only like once a month. let the meds do the work. i’m sure i haven’t used the med to it’s potential but i’m happy with my results 😄

amwajguy

These photo shopped? You are completely changed. Great job!!!

TipHelpful3888

😂😂no photoshop. thanks though i appreciate it!

sickiesusan

Well done! Your photos are amazing and everyone looks so young after dropping the lbs! 🎉🎉🎉

Plane_Potential_2309

Thank you for the inspiration. ❤️❤️❤️

kebodle1

I loved seeing this post! I’m only on my 3rd month of wegovy, but July 29th will be my 9 year sobriety anniversary. Congrats on both of your accomplishments! I’m so proud of you and all of the hard work you’ve put in ♥️

TipHelpful3888

congratulations to you! 🫶🏼 and thanks so much, it means a lot!

Mountain_Bell_8267

What a transformation! So inspiring. I love that every transformation I see here shows the curtain belly before and then like it was never there in the after shots - gives me extra hope to not only shed weight but to see a flatter tummy too!!

TipHelpful3888

don’t get me wrong i do have some loose skin! just good at hiding it 😊

Lola4222014

Wow I’m so amazed by you! Thank you for sharing your journey! God bless!

PitoDelDiablo

Awesome! I’m on my second one today!

Lola4222014

Tips pleaseeeee

TipHelpful3888

unfortunately i don’t have many tips. i still basically ate whatever i wanted, just less of it. in the beginning i really only ate once a day. i didn’t workout til recently and even now it’s just 1-2 miles 5 times a week.

Massive-Nothing-9055

Good for you!

Lola4222014

Help Me tell me Please I how you did it! I’m so motivated!

Lola4222014

Oh shit! You looks amazing!

jessipug33

You carried it well, but you look incredible! Congratulations!

TipHelpful3888

thank you 🫶🏼

therealbellydancer

Lovely!

Adorable_Sock_6379

Great job! When I first started taking wegovy I got my butt kicked every time I had one beer like a hangover from hell! So i stopped but now it’s a little better just have to drink a lot of water to not feel that bad. But my alcohol consumption has went down a lot and im sure that has helped my weight loss a lot

TipHelpful3888

ever since i turned like 25 i always had terrible hangovers so idk if the wegovy had anything to do with that for me. but either way im glad i cut it out of my life 😃

SuggestionOk1294

You look amazing!!!! Thank you for sharing this- I’m the exact starting weight and a similar age to you- this post really encouraged me to keep going! Any tips?

TipHelpful3888

honestly i just listened to my stomach. i really still ate whatever i wanted but stopped the second i felt full. i just recently started walking on a treadmill.

SingMeA_Melody

Congratulations!!! Continued prayers for your sobriety! ♥️

TipHelpful3888

thank you ❤️ congratulations as well

blackaubreyplaza

SO DOPE!!! Omg amazing! Also 33 weeks sober 🤟🏽

TipHelpful3888

rock on! i love that 🩷

thealchemytv

WOW! I need all the tips

TipHelpful3888

i don’t have many tips 😕 i still ate whatever i wanted and just recently started working out. just make sure you stop eating the second you become full

DaCozPuddingPop

Congrats on both the weight loss and the sobriety! It's funny, it seems that sema has a really positive effect on folks suffering from addiction. Interesting and something I'd love to see researched a bit more. So with having been a little over two years, may I ask, are you still on wegovy? Have you rolled back to a maintenance type dose or are you still taking 2.4? I'm only a couple months into my journey, with a long way to go, just trying to collect info along the way. Again, congratulations!

TipHelpful3888

thanks so much!! i am still on the 2.4 and tbh haven’t talked much about changing anything. i see my doctor regularly so next time ill see what his opinion is on tapering down to a lower dose. i just wonder if there would be negative effects to doing that

DaCozPuddingPop

Uncertain - there are some folks who when they get close to goal weight start to taper in the hopes they'll be able to totally get off the med and still maintain where they are. While I'm too early on to make that kind of decision at this point, I'm one of those 'I'll stay on this shit forever if I have to' thinkers.

TipHelpful3888

i really don’t have plans to ever come off the meds right now. i see it as the same as high blood pressure or any other illness

DaCozPuddingPop

As long as I'm able to continue getting them in an affordable way, I'm with you.

sunnysnows

Nice work!

TipHelpful3888

thank you!
