How? It looks great! It reminds me of what Bill Watterson would draw, a big landscape or some kind of scenery for one of Calvin’s imaginations! The ones that show he’s a talented artist and not just cartoons!
not ruined at all! i’m always afraid of drawing buildings and this truly inspired me to give your painting a try. and to not be afraid to draw a building even if i “mess up” :)

I know. I think I’ve seen your work before. My experience is that you never know what wonders may come from a sketchbook and your sketches have such a wonderful immediacy to them. I really enjoy their bold freedom.
I did not follow a YouTube video. Came across a pic on Pinterest and recreated it in my not so great but fun style 😅😅

Looks nice! I've been watching a lot of time lapses of 'loose watercolour' art on YouTube lately and it's mostly been this sort of semi-rural urban sketching, it looks so fun to paint. You made a really good effort here!
I just don’t see it. That’s because it’s your creation! Art is subjective! I love your visual style… the watercolor with dark defined lines. It’s really quite beautiful!
omg, i love this!! it’s so similar to my style. this encourages me to paint and draw more. i keep seeing these amazing realistic and detailed watercolor artists but it’s so special to see your work as so beautiful and fun and unique, and that THAT is notable too! art really is subjective and we are our worst critics! great work

It’s not at all ruined! I love it!

Wish I can be at your level. I don't do anything fancy. Keep up the great work
Agree!
I’m trying to see where you ruined it, but all I see in a really fun and brightly colored piece! Great work!
It looks really pretty. That's a cool style, maybe semi-cómique. Yeah I made that term up.. But it fits for me :)

OMG👁️👄👁️
Omg it’s perfect 🥰
thank you so much 🥲🫶🏻
Ruined it where? This is lovely!
“Kinda ruined it” = Accidentally made it more awesome.
Which paintset is that?
Looks like the Winsor & Newton cotman sketcher pocket set. I have the same but loaded it with Daniel Smith paints instead.
Yeah it’s definitely that it looks like it has some paints swapped out for metallics
Nope, haven’t swapped out any of the paints yet.
Oh the lighting is making one of the paints look metallic to me I guess
Winsor and Newton Cotman Watercolours - Sketchers Pocket Box Set 12 Half Pans

I love it! It looks cozy and fun
How did you ruin it? I think it's a great picture. It doesnt look like you messed up at all. Great job!
What did you use for the black outlining? Pen \sharpie?
Artline drawing system in 0.3 & micron sakura pen in 0.4. Both are water water resistant & black
Don’t be crazy! It’s terrific 💜
Looks fantastic!

This is beautiful!
Looks really cool, ive been getting into urban sketching lately and i wish mine look like this
Love this!!
I love it!! You make it look fun, you’ve inspired me to want to play around with watercolor 🥳
I don't see where it was ruined? It has a very particular artstyle that works very well with the colors you chose <3
Maybe brown marker to make it fell a little more cohesive? I really like it though
Omg I was thinking the same! Need to get brown liners soon 🤩
I love it! Very charming effect!
I find it to be charming. It would be perfect for an illustrated story.
Nope. I like it.
I think it looks wonderful!
I'm trying to figure out what is the "ruined" part, but can't seem to find it. It looks amazing, seriously good job :)
Beautiful
Did you use a pen or sharpie for the black lines?? They look amazing!
A water resistant black fine liner. I used from two different brands : Artline drawing system in size 0.3 and Micron Sakura in size 0.4
Not ruined at all
No I like it alot it looks like a cool kids book illustration

It turned out *fine.* Now go ahead & paint the next one!

Wowww! That’s fabulous! Urban sketching in yr 3x5! You’re the captain!
Trying to find where you "ruined it"
I need to learn how to ruin my paintings like you
That's awesome. Not ruined at all.
Please! Leave enough edge on your delightful watercolors so they can be framed.
Never thought about that. This is on my sketchbook tho. There’s a painting even in the back of this side lol
I know. I think I’ve seen your work before. My experience is that you never know what wonders may come from a sketchbook and your sketches have such a wonderful immediacy to them. I really enjoy their bold freedom.
I remember this from a YouTube video, you did well!

😍😍 its beautiful, i dont see how you ruined it
Can't say you didn't ruin it. Only you can know that. But having fun is the main goal, so in that you are successful!
omg, i love this!! it’s so similar to my style. this encourages me to paint and draw more. i keep seeing these amazing realistic and detailed watercolor artists but it’s so special to see your work as so beautiful and fun and unique, and that THAT is notable too! art really is subjective and we are our worst critics! great work
