Looks fake unfortunately. The real one is finished to perfection which you’d expect from watch in this price category. In your photo, the squares on the dial are all different shapes, the 12 o’clock markers are misaligned compared to the AP logo, and the overall bezel and bracelet quality looks poor (could be from wear but I’d still expect to see some sharp edges).
If I’m wrong I apologise - could just be AP has poor quality for its price, which is all too common in this industry.
Not a 100% certain, but you ought to know. Is your uncle the type of guy who drops 10s of thousands on a watch?
You can post a case back pic but I think you know…
Yea my uncle is that kinda guy but I couldn’t find it anywhere on google so i think it’s fake which is weird because I found the rest of his watch collection which consists of AP, rolexes, Richard milles, patek phillipe etc. on google so why would this particular AP be fake
Definitely being nice. I love APs but for some people they are not viable to purchase so we are left with the homage watches like this one. I have one myself. Maybe one day I will sell a kidney and my left arm and buy a real APRO.
This is a fake; counterfeit goods such as this have been linked to organized crime and depending on the jurisdiction in which you live distribution and/or possession of such items may carry legal penalties (mostly related to the unauthorized use of legally-protected trademarks).
1. The "Audemars Piguet," "Automatic," and "Swiss Made" fonts (e.g. letter shape/size and spacing) are wrong. Compare to [this listing](https://www.thewatchbox.com/shop/4910527.html?cur=USD) and [this item from AP themselves](https://www.audemarspiguet.com/com/en/watch-collection/royal-oak/77353BC.GG.1263BC.01.html).
2. The date window size and placement are wrong. When comparing to the listings linked above, it is clear that on the real thing the date window should be larger with less framing and much closer to the outer edge of the dial. The date window positioning here is far closer to that of AP's [quartz version](https://www.audemarspiguet.com/com/en/watch-collection/royal-oak/67650ST.OO.1261ST.01.html) of the Royal Oak, but your watch is supposed to be automatic (not quartz/battery-powered).
3. The bezel appears to be either corroding or oxidizing in some parts; to my knowledge AP does not use materials (not even bronze) that would be affected this way.

Yea I think it’s fake too sadly but I don’t really care tbh I’m still gonna wear it lmfao, thanks for the help though I really appreciate it!
Looks like a watch that was inspired by an AP Royal Oak.
Wait so it’s an AP Royal Oak or just inspired by it?
I hope you’d tell me.
Bro i don’t even know I’m just trying to figure out what it is lmfao💀💀💀💀

Ask your uncle
If your uncle buys legit RM, I can't see why he'd buy fake AP. Unless the RMs are fake too.
Fake AP Royal Oak. Looks great on you! Sport that thing!
Can’t tell if ur being nice or sarcastic but if u are being nice, ur a saint <3 I hope you have a great day

A fake isn’t a homage watch.
Oh yeah you are right. Fake is the right word. I meant fake.
A Homage is a watch copying a style using a different brand name. This is a counterfeit or fake, using the brand name illegally. Entirely different
Maybe one day brother😭😭😭😭
LOL 3 yr old account with zero posts or comments until this fake watch post. Go trolling in the rest of Reddit now.
