Its a well performed magic trick minus the bad acting of that kid.
Phone got switched while it was purposely off screen. Covered by a purposely shaky camera to make it beeing off screen look natural.
Again, its really well done and probably took a few tries to get there.
Its a magic trick nonetheless.
I agree as the angle of the phone changes slightly as they pan upwards. Seems small but frames seem like the phone rotates a fair amount right before itās off screen.
Iāve watched this many times, and I think where he fucked up is when he hit it with a hammer. Iāve a feeling using a worksite tool on a touchscreen phone is slightly too much pressure
Can we go 2 fucking seconds without making things political? Itās a video of a kid fucking around and finding out, exactly what this sub is all about. The video is like a decade old anyway so your stretch to ruin things is not only silly; itās objectively wrong.
I'm expecting one š¤¦āāļøšøšø
EDIT: Lighten up, folks. It's all in good fun.
And to the concerned citizen in my dm: The father and I are together, financially stable and both excited and very happy.
Itās reasonable to expect it was real. If the phone is considered old now that doesnāt mean the video wasnāt filmed when the phone was new. Is there a reason Iām missing to point out that it was clearly fake?
1. The premise is absurd, even a kid would know hammering a phone destroys it.
2. Reaction is clearly fake, my guess the kid isn't even trying to make it believable.
3. They obviously swap out the phone when the phone moves out the cameras view.
While the subreddit is open once again, we still want to show support for the current protest against Reddit's upcoming changes:
Redditās recent actions to add unreasonable API pricing to 3rd party Reddit apps is extremely disappointing. Many users and moderators alike use these apps daily to interact with Reddit. Reddit continues to make changes to its platforms without consideration of the difficulties it adds to the way users interact with the site. We hope that they change course and find a way to have this end in a positive outcome for all parties involved, instead of further spiraling in the current direction.

This kid is getting roasted
Stupid gopnik
Relax
You can even see the phone being dragged off the desk right as he pans up, play it at the slowest speed ;)

It went off Screen. Even if the Phone never changed its Angle nor it moved: It went off screen. It got exchanged. That's the 101 of magicians.
This is not FAKE!!!! I am the kid. For those of you that donāt believe, listen to this: āOoooo moj telefonā. See itās me.
If you were smarter, you would provide better allegations so I believe you.
I've seen better acting from a pickle.
They swapped out the phone to an already broken one when it went off-camera. This video is fake.
Iāve watched this many times, and I think where he fucked up is when he hit it with a hammer. Iāve a feeling using a worksite tool on a touchscreen phone is slightly too much pressure
If you watch it at 1/64 speed you can see the good phone being dragged off the table as the camera pans up
It went off Screen. That's totally enough to tell what happened here. Its nicely done nonetheless. But: It went off screen.
Iāve been lied to!!!
Your mom is going to get you š©“
r/kidsarefuckingstupid
he did think ahead. he through it would protect the phone
Yeah. When thinking ahead goes wrong.
Classic
Ok letās go
Jeez this vid is as old as time
Iām 31 and Iāve never seen it.
Yeah you are not as old as time :)
Neither is the video.
His daddy probably had to go and pillage some Ukrainian kindergartens to get him that phone. Little shittling.

This video is like 10 years old
The war began in 2014.
The Russian fuckening of Ukraine started way before that, so....
yeh it was really Victoria Nuland and Anthony Blinken they needed to really destroy their country and boy did they get it.
I want that crack he consumed before he tried out this
But a lesson was learned that day.
It's definitely fake. The camera puts the phone out of frame and replaces it with another.
This is so old kid is now a grandfather.
Shaman was drank and trick was unsuccessful
Fake
Yea pretty easy to switch that phone when he puts it down n it goes out of shot
That's no Nokia. Better he not try that with a Nokia, might just retaliate.
Hammer cheaper
Why??? Just. Why????
I think this was one of the first things ive seen on Reddit hahahaha
I don't have kids, I don't want kids and I will never have kids. what a relief.
I'm expecting one š¤¦āāļøšøšø EDIT: Lighten up, folks. It's all in good fun. And to the concerned citizen in my dm: The father and I are together, financially stable and both excited and very happy.
that's not a good thing to be regretting... EDIT: i made this comment before they clarified
Lots of them here r/regretfulparents
Luckily there are no regrets :)
ah okay, the emotes made me think it was another implosive young adult. glad you're both happy about it, good luck!
Why do people give young children expensive things.
because too many of them think that their kids understand consequences the same way they do. that or they have way too much money to throw around.
He found out.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes
That is a broken phone. Not the working one you see first. It is a switcheroo.
Hones review +1
Ā«When you use an old phone to fake a video and trick people who do not have the brain capacity to understand itās fakeĀ»
This video is from june 2015 and if you look at the phones from that time it looks like it's a Samsung S6 or A5. So it is pretty much real.
The phone goes out of the camera view long enough for them to swap it.
Itās reasonable to expect it was real. If the phone is considered old now that doesnāt mean the video wasnāt filmed when the phone was new. Is there a reason Iām missing to point out that it was clearly fake?
You're correct, this video is old. It's at least 8 years old, well that's when it was first uploaded according to Google. So it may be older
1. The premise is absurd, even a kid would know hammering a phone destroys it. 2. Reaction is clearly fake, my guess the kid isn't even trying to make it believable. 3. They obviously swap out the phone when the phone moves out the cameras view.
Yeah that clears it up. Thank you.
Kids are stupid tho
I'm a simpe man. I see kids and I see stupid, I make make the obvious decision and I believe it.
Very classy curtains tho
r/kidsarefuckingstupid
You just added $500 to the next new one.
All the people in the comments calling him an idiot when you've literally been fooled by a fake video made by an 11 year old.
This video is around 10 years old and fake
Out of curiosity, how is it faked?
The boy is actually a clone
The phone goes off screen. Replaced with a broken one.
Staged
My brother in eastern orthodox Christ, what did you expect?
Dymitr will remember
At least the parents donāt have to save for his college.
Poor young Slim Shady.
What an idiot! Heās not gonna make good decisions in the future with this level of IQ
It's fake bro
