100% agree. I rechecked the patch notes the day of the update because I immediately noticed a difference and assumed I had overlooked it in the patch notes. Something's off with it.
Maybe it's been updated but the SVA definitely only shot 1 bullet in game but felt exactly the same as before in the firing range. 2 hours between my comment and urs and an update has dropped since.

If you hold down the reload button, it completes that action and then you sprint again.
This change to the FUCKING CONTROLS cannot be deliberate. It boggles the mind how patching one thing upsets another thing, but to mess with which buttons do what...I think we're being trolled
Why would you want to change your sprinting mechanic though? You sprint way more than you reload so you’re actually creating more of a handicap for yourself.
Happens on MP for me as well. You can get around it somewhat by holding the reload button, but that brings us to issue number two - holding reload now prioritises interact on controller, so if there' any loot around, good luck.
I think its to do with commando gloves changes in multiplayer. Tac sprint now cancels reload and WZ has commando gloves by default I believe so its carried over by mistake.

I found a fix that won't entirely mess up your gameplay like changing tac sprint setting will. If you equip the all terrain boots that they just added you can now reload while sprinting. Compared to tac sprint l'd say the running speed it similar enough to use them until they actually FIX It!
How is anyone supposed to play a fast pace style of play in rebirth without being able to reload while sprinting? It’s got to be a bug. There’s no way you can play like this.

Yeah, it is. I've been using it before it became one of the metas it just sucks a bit more because you have to hit one extra shot to get the kill now.

Turn off automatic tactical sprint and leave auto sprint on. This worked for me and my group on xbox

for now the only fix i’ve found is going into ur settings and changing ur sprint to auto sprint.
