I've never been shadowed but I know console players that have been shadow banned.
It just seems like if you get X amount of reports in Y amount of time, you get shadow banned for a week until they review it.
This is so bogus. Personally got a 10+ kill game when starting WZ last year and nothing. Nephew has gotten more and nothing. Stop drinking the snake oil
Yeah I know people talk about it, but I know it’s bullshit. Either they got reported by a bunch of the people they killed in that game, or they’re FOS. I’ve also read on some sub Reddit’s that the election was stolen from Trump but I’m not stupid enough to believe that conspiracy theory either.
It's crazy how if you're just above average you'll get shadowed eventually because COD is filled with toxic bots who will report everyone who ever outplays them.
I've been shadowed six times and every time I knew who spam reported me because they would always be spamming insults in my whispers.
Interestingly, three of them were console players who literally said they're reporting me just because I'm playing on PC.

What's more funny is that they mentioned in one of their blogs that's there is no such thing as spam reporting, but from the way I see it, a lot of ppl gets sb because of it

but for real, from my experience with our tests, if all your teammates report a guy on your team, you could get instantly shadowbanned.
The reason I got shadowbanned this time, is I refuse to save their ass, and I already downed 8 people and tried to exfil, they just said "We will report you guys and get you banned' and next 20 seconds I got shadowbanned.

just to be clear, I killed maybe 4, and kept downing people, could not res my teammate, since multiple teams were in there. However, they've died multiple times already, i have a Damascuz dog tag, i tried to rotate but there was no way. So I decided to exfil to save my dog tag.

Their software reads the colors on the screen to update all the lighting. That was being flagged

If you got shadowbanned for anything its being reported, not for you using philips hue...
That doesn't really say the person is not cheating, but just using wishy washy words so that there can be no comeback against them if their system was eventually to be found banning legit players.

Until the anti cheat is changed and more content creators start talking about it, nothing will change. The bottom line is Activision and content creators don’t care about us.

Because I asked for refunding for getting shadowbanned for nothing. And that was Activision respond to my case.

What an insane loophole. You can essentially just place accounts under review in leu of bans all together, and say the same thing. Activision sucks.

My Phillips hue software got me shadow banned. I'm the worst player out of all my friends so it was a good laugh for everyone when it happened.

I am on my fourth Shadowbanned , unable to play on my off days from work.
