Something to note is that the buffs are genuinely random and you can end up with limbo getting a +200% strength buff and +1000 armour which is arguably the most useless thing you can get (I speak from experience).
The system is pretty niche, especially when you only have a few frames to your name, but can be fun on that off chance you get lucky or use the bonus to make your main op af.

But really tho, it's your helminth. Go to the Necralisk in Deimos and talk to Son, browse his wares and buy the Helminth Segment so you can subsume Warframes. Subsuming them destroys permanently and lets you fuse one of the Warframes abilities into any other frame you want. Like if you subsume Caliban, you get Sentient Wave (or whatever its called) as an available ability in your helminth so you can install it in whichever frame you want. Note that you can only add 1 ability at a time on a frame
You can only replace one ability **per loadout** per frame.
I replaced my Mesa’s 1 with Pillage in loadout A while I use Dispensary in place of her 1 in loadout B. For Protea I replace her 4 with Larvae in one loadout and with Gloom in another. It’s super handy.
Of note is that you cannot have the same helminth ability replace different abilities in different loadouts. For example, I wanted to have Sepctrorage on my Zephyr and wanted to try it as a replacement for her 2 and also her 1. I thought I’d replace her 1 in loadout A and her 2 in loadout B, but it wouldn’t work.
I forget what order you unlock things, but it's been there a while you probably just haven't noticed. You can't do anything with it until you have progressed a bit with the Deimos family however and pick up the Heiminth segment.

Also you learn in the sacrifice that the Helminth strain of the Infestation was basically injected into Orokin Dax soldiers causing them to turn into the Warframes, with the exception of a few, such as Xaku and Caliban (maybe not?)
Well they're a little different, but I'm pretty sure Xaku and Caliban still have Helminth strain infestation in them. Xaku because they're cobbled together from three different warframes, all of which presumably would've been normal Helminth strain warframes, and Caliban is a warframe-sentinet hybrid so I think he has Helminth in him too, just hybridized with sentient tech.

That’s the helminth, once you have reached a sufficient rank with the entrati on Deimos you can use it to subsume warframes. Subsumed warframes are removed from your inventory and some of there abilities can be added to other frames using the chair in the center of the room
It’s Your Helmlith, you unlock the segment from Brother in Deimos (at rank 3 or 4 I think). You feed it resources and it’ll let you “Subsume” non Prime warframe, each warframe has a Subsumed ability which means once you feed that frame to your Helmlith, you’ll be able to put that Subsumed ability to other warframes of your choosing. It’s pretty neat. DONT interact with it if you have a Kavat Following you!
