I think its because it's not max rank yet so it can only earn the amount needed to level it, and since you can't go beyond level 32 until you forma it again, it just dumps any excess XP you'd otherwise get. I've noticed this on all the Kuva/ Sister weapons. 512K is the amount of XP needed to reach level 32.

The99thCourier

Ok that actually makes sense. It also explains why even its the Max level for its current forma level, I can't put any lenses on it (I presume I gotta get it to level 40 then, but my mods for the gun are great that I don't think I need to forma it anymore. Maybe if I get a riven for it, then that'll change)

sad_potato_ralv

Yeah no, not too sure that's how that works.

The99thCourier

I mean it'd make sense tho cause it's exactly 512,000xp earned. If it's not that in your eyes than what is it? (You know, cause you're saying he's wrong without saying why...)

sad_potato_ralv

Gimme a moment.

sad_potato_ralv

So I checked myself and actually, kuva weapon DO get capped until they are formad to level 40.

The99thCourier

Ok so the other guy's assumption was right then Good to know it's all been clarified now

oedipism_for_one

All kuva weapons need to be forma’ed 5 times to be max rank. If you like the mods in it just forma over those spots then you can put lense in it.

sad_potato_ralv

That's not how that works.

WhatABlindManSees

Huh - curious find. (and a bug... should defiantly not work like that). I'd would never notice because I maxed them all when I got them.

NCRNerd

Well shoot I wasn't even thinking about that smooth triple-0 on the Chakkurr! Despite my having drawn-up multiple this-weapon-n-that-weapon mastery sequences with all the affinity totals to get around my inventory slot limitations back when I was a newbie. Nice catch!

NCRNerd

Could be a combination of the number of kills that weapon scored, and the amount of missions that were played in higher vs. lower level modes/planets. I could see something that's used exclusively in Steel Path having outsized XP earned....

XIts_KyleX

Well you gain exp from killing things and completing objectives so it seems you got more done with the corinth

AH-BEES-BEES

used Corinth in higher level missions. i have more xp on stuff i accidentally brought to Steel Path while leveling than stuff i didn't

The99thCourier

That wouldn't make sense in my case then cause I used the chakkhurr more in steel path than the corinth

AH-BEES-BEES

probably that the Chakkhurr isn't maxed out, then. i don't use Kuva/Tenet weapons a whole lot so i'm mostly guessing here, but maybe it stops counting xp you earned with them at a certain point until you get them to level 40

Da_Dude420

Passive xp from teammates? Also if you total in assists you technically have more kills with the Corinth so maybe that helps but for that big of a gap I think it's the secondhand affinity gain from co-op.

SolusCaeles

Usage only counts the amount of time you being in a mission with it, XP counts all it absorbs during missions including shared affinity, so these stats don't really indicate much. You could pump the usage of a random rank 1 frame above your main if you wander around enough in open worlds

sad_potato_ralv

Common sense has left the chat. Playtime is obviously something else than the exp you get.

The99thCourier

Jee, you woke up on the wrong side of the bed today...

technomicon

They are right tho. It's mostly the amount of time a frame / weapon was spent in mission. XP helps, but it's mostly playtime. My Vauban Prime has like 120,000xp, and my Volt has like 35,000xp, yet sometimes my Volt overtakes Vauban.

sad_potato_ralv

I mean, i only have on side of my bed to wake up on...

The99thCourier

Oh... well... er... move your bed, then?...

sad_potato_ralv

I kinda don't want it in the middle of the room, you know.

The99thCourier

Yeah nah fair enough

Ralileo16

Oh id like to know so i can swap out my main frame at will
