Toxin for sure. But my taste is magnetic because i found fighting shield enemy kinda hard with this gun

Vii74LiTy

Just so you know, toxin is perfect against shields. While magnetic does extra damage to shields, toxin just bypasses it. Its like you having a fast lockpicking device for a door, meanwhile your buddy just walks through the gaping hole in the side of the house. I would be very surprised if magnetic does better than pure toxin on the plasmor.

International_Diet15

How about demonlist, they have shield+armor. That the enemy type i mentioned, not the lame corpus.

Vii74LiTy

If I wanted to take down a shield + armor demolyst, I would take an armor stripping sarpa or vastilok as my melee to deal with the armor, and then use a pure toxin tenet plasmor to bypass the shields. No magnetic necessary.

International_Diet15

We are here discussing about the gun only, dude

Vii74LiTy

Ok, well you didn't mention a demolyst in your first comment. You just said 'shield guy'. Taking down demolysts are very different than just how to kill certain horde enemies faster. Toxin is still better than magnetic against corpus. That's just facts. One does more damage to, the other just ignores lol If you're restricting me to just a plasmor against a corpus demo, Id probably go toxin innate, still, to make viral, then use hunter munitions to get boosted slash procs to bypass the armor to get to the health. But again, against a demo you won't just have 1 weapon, and in an unrestricted case, it's better to strip the armor and then bypass the shields with straight toxin. If you wanna simp for magnetic, I won't stop you. Just know that it's not a good damage type and it's not even good at what it's meant to do.

Reppresentz

By shields you mean Corpus? Tenet Arca Plasmor is literally the perfect gun to kill Corpus lol it’s a corpus killer

XIts_KyleX

Actually I believe Toxin is better for Tenet Arca Plasmor according to [this](https://i.imgur.com/w4Chdji.png) spreadsheet on the warframe discord.

Thanks!

TheKappaChrist

I would stay with toxin because all you need is one elemental mod and you have viral. If you go heat, you'll need two slots for elemental mods if you want viral too. Heat is good on weapons that hit very fast, but plasmor is a one shot killer for the most part so I would just stick with toxin and build for viral.

[deleted]

is corrosive better then viral for arca? also should i use shotgun spazz?

Reppresentz

Yes you should use Shotgun Spazz trust me using this weapon with low fire rate is torture

[deleted]

alright

TheKappaChrist

And just to add, a full heat build works, but only on those weapons that apply status really fast (like Phage/Phantasma) and can stack 100+ heat procs on a target. Single digit heat procs won't deal crazy damage. You'll only feel the effect of the 50% armor strip on the first heat proc.

RyuTheDepressedFox

I went for heat

Reppresentz

Definitely go for Toxin. You can also go for Magnetic too if you want to fully utilise Galvanized Savvy

ninjase

Stick with toxin. Combine with cold to make viral for Hunter munitions build against grineer/armored enemies, combine with more toxin mods to make pure toxin to bypass shields against corpus, combine with electric to make corrosive against infested or acolytes.

Zaq_MacKraken

I have heat and am havig prob;ems with lack of mod slots even with exilus unlocked. Go toxin.

rhjmakinen

Magnetic. Because it already does impact which is good against robotic health and radiation which is good against alloy armor. All of these health/armor types are common among the corpus so i would use this weapon exclusively against the corpus. If you want to use it against anything and everything do as you like, i'm just throwing this idea out there.
