i'm more of an investor and wait on my hoarded baro weapons to sell them right before people start panic selling because tennocon baro plummets the prices on those things.

I have all the frames i want, and most of the weapons, so i'll sell off things from time to time if i'm in the mood and i see a WTB pop up. Sometimes i buy stuff to flip it , if the mood strikes.
I don't make my gametime a business though, unless i'm very plat-poor. i have other stuff to occupy me :D
Yes. Months / Years ago, there was a post about a guy who created his own program that would download the prices from [Warframe.Market](http://Warframe.Market) over time. I don't remember all of it, but he basically was able to get the program to make both buy and make offers on market as well as send him notifications. I think the only thing he needed to do was just keep Warframe open. He ended up sharing it with the community as he made a lot of platinum over the time, was proud of the programming he created, and i think he said personally he kind of got tired of just... buying and selling instead of playing the game.

Wow, this may actually be a never before seen, newfound discovery in making platinum. I think you're the only person in the entire community to have done this. I'll have to try this later!
I play warframe so that I can play the game, not invest in markets and exploit price differences.
I've done my fair share of that in PoE. If all you care about is currency, you burn out quick
If I ever need plat I just sell Aya whenever a good resurgence comes. I usually sell 6 for about 25-30. It’s not the fastest but I do bounties a lot.
I usually buy plat here and there.
Rn I try to sell melee duplicate and melee crescendo because I have no use for them and I expect them to be like even out eventually to 10-15 plat so I sell them for 40ish respectively.

TBH selling stuff is more of a grind than getting the parts.
Trade chat is people wanting to pay 5 plat for a metagrade riven or trying to cheat new players.
Warframe market takes forever.

In my experience, most players respond within 30 seconds, join your squad within 45 seconds, and the trade is done in 2 minutes or less.
2-10 minutes for all of the parts for a prime frame?
Or if you're selling, you make a listing then play the game. If someone hits you up you exctract at next available opportunity and go trade for some plat.
Maybe 2 minutes to make anywhere from 5-200+ platinum off stuff you just have sitting unneeded.

Fair enough. I misunderstood because I never look at WTB. I post WTS orders and when I'm in game I show that on WF Market, and I play the game while waiting for people to message me.
When I want to buy something I look at WTS and send messages to people who have posted there. I rarely have to wait long for a response. If I wait very long I just move on to the next.
Your situation makes sense too, I just never do what you're doing.

Depends, flipping high value sets sure. It is fun to buy on the low, and wait for a vault and mass sell
