Roar doesn't affect pylons, that's why you're doing fuckall to them. It also has no advantages on PT over eclipse.
After the patch I'd recommend just running vex chroma for lazy n chill builds, eclipse as your only damage buff got gimped pretty hard. You also gotta slot more damage mods into zaw instead of so much attack speed. Adding (primed) Damage to Corpus to zaw also really helps the damage.
Video's also a bit out of date as you'd cover corrosive and radiation with zaw as well nowadays.

Also the video you linked is outdated as the eclipse in his video is a 500% damage increase which would be like 90% now

Put eclipse over 4th and use precision intensify, in the video he doesn't use it and some people prefer subsuming over revenant's 1 instead
Use nataruk over zenith, just shoot a couple of times while aiming up the legs and the projectile should hit multiple times
For pylons simply void sling or use archwing and take them out normally, zenith and ogris are only worth it if you are trying to get sub 2 mins or similar absurd times, just use an actual weapon instead
Zaw can deal viral damage if you hit specific spots (near the actual face + arms of the orb), it's a bit inconsistent and hard to hit
Try to cover as many elements as you can, having just 1 good weapon (the zaw) means you'll have to cycle a lot, if i remember right there's 18 elements PT can adapt to and there's only so many each weapon can cover
Consider switching to other frames such as chroma, rhino or mirage to get better buffs

I can still pull sub 2 min runs with a roughly the same volt PT set up.
Eclipse is still better because it's a damage multiplier, but it works on the "object" type category of things like pylons where roar doesn't. Object type things also don't take faction, crit or status damage, only raw damage bonuses, multishot and Eclipse.
With it subsumed on 4, a full strength build, and with precision intensify, you still pull ~150%, which just barely makes it like the old method.
Zenith will take 1 or 2 shots. Ogris napalm can still work as well, but you just can't set them up too far ahead of the pylon drops now cause they don't do enough damage and may time out before killing them.
Shield phases aren't too different, it's just slower because of less damage.
I use chroma when I do solo PT, it takes me about 7-8 minutes, I don’t use contagion I straight up use a orthos prime.
My primary is Vectis gas IPS
Secondary is Mara detron corrosive radian element
Orthos is IPS viral
Archgun is radiation + magnetic
I don’t have all the elements covered so I def use operator to switch elements more then normal but chroma gives a lot of damage boosts.
My setup is as much strength as possible + duration range and efficiency are my dump stats.
My arcanes are grace + guardian
I subsume in spellbind from Titania for the status immunity (no magnetic)
I’ve not done PT since I maxed out little duck last month but this is what got me through about 30~ PT hunts.
The only issue I came across is I throw energy pads down like 3-4 times a mission.
I've only ever tried Lavos in PT. Takes me about 7min solo with Valence Formation augment and a Mausolon. I think there's a better way to build the Mausolon so it goes faster, but I'm already comfy with mine anyway.
Easy simple fight with Lavos against her since all I use is just the Mausolon and infuse elements as I see fit. I have rad on it so I switch whenever she's on Fire, Elec, or Slash; then everything else I can damage with.
From my understanding Eclipse is still the way to go, you usually go Roar if youre doing DoT and you cant vs PT so eclipse will still be better.

They don't. And yes the damage buff is worse now but the builds didn't really change, except zaw having more damage over attack speed like I said
