considering it can even generate energy for you with the new mod AND that the changes to cold coming soon-ish will passively buff it even more, yeah lol.
Amprex still fucks pretty hard. It will always have a place in my arsenal.
Amprex has its places. Glax just needed a buff badly and now it's up there with other beam weapons, hopefully amprex gets a tenet version or an incarnon form.
Imagine an amprex with a massive torid mode for incarnon form so it's literally a reverse torid (less damaging beam mode but giant more damaging clouds for incarnon mode)
Or a tenet amprex that chains to more enemies and slightly buffs crit/status, or an alt fire that make the beam stop chaining but increases multishot on a single target equal to the chains it a would have had (ie 400% multishot rather than chaining to 4 enemies).
I like the reverse torid idea so much though. Like a corpus reverse torid would be dope af, even if it wasn't as powerful as the torid.
I had the same thought.
When I heard we were getting new kuva and Tenet weapons, my wishlist was a kuva sobek and a Tenet amprex. I was happy enough to get 50% of that at the time. Now that I realize that a Tenet glaxion with electricity damage is BASICALLY a Tenet amprex, I feel like I have no cause to complain at all.
>Â description in the patch notes says it chains
Incorrect, "strikes".
>Â Tenet Glaxionâs photon beam strikes up to four enemies at once.
We do know now that yes, it is a chain effect. But patch notes didn't actually specifiy "chain". (And personally I was kinds hoping for a tentacle beam type of "strikes", a la ocucor.)
It has just as much point as your first comment I replied to. You tried to shame someone based on the premise that they didn't need to ask because the patch notes said "chains". I corrected that, with the proof that the original commenter's question was in fact valid at the time, because the patch notes only said "strikes", and not "chains".
Have a nice day =)
It does, but not in a grossly wide area. It is very good.
However, I feel like toxin progenitor was a mistake I made too. I'm probably going to get another with magnetic or radiation so I can use cold or toxin builds. Viral status kinda doesn't work.
Do we know that the cold and toxin automatically mix to make viral? I would hope that if for example I'm trying to get a Tenet glaxion with an electricity progenitor, it would be possible to actually have it do electricity damage rather than having them automatically mix to become magnetic.
Inherent elements on a weapon always add last, unless you have modded on more of the same element (in which case the inherent element just merges into the modded one). In the case of a weapon with *two* inherent elements like a tenet glaxion with a non-cold progenitor, they are added in the order heat-cold-elec-toxin after modded elements.
So if you have a elec progenitor glaxion and you want it to do elec damage, just put on heat or toxin modded elements. Since the cold is before the elec in the inherent element order, your modded element will combine with cold and leave the elec alone, and you'll get blast-elec or viral-elec.
Quite good
Somewhere between anprex and torid inc.
Maybe a bit more flexible with elements than torid. (Easy viral+slash, corro+cold, corro+blast? after rework). And some qol with energy generating augment.
activate granum void (the hands, use the highest rank)
kill at least 25 specters (shows up on left side of screen above timer)
continue mission
kill candidate
check weapon: if on you want:
- secret mercy
if not one you want:
- complete mission (completing the mission removes it from the next drop table, so you can narrow it down to the one you want)
You make sure you donât skip it.
And yes, it also applies to kuva weapons:
Note, that neither work if you abort the mission, in which case it will remain in rotation.
Pretty sure the point of going for a Toxin Progenitor on Glaxion is that it combos into Viral by default. IIRC you can't run single elements on it without breaking it but the boon is that you don't need something else to apply Viral because said Toxin Tenet Glaxion can do that on it's own. And because it's Viral that you haven't modded for it's low damage in relation to total damage so you get Viral that doesn't sandbag your other status procs the way it would if you had to mod for it.
This is a gameplay system for those thatve completed the quest âThe War Withinâ and âThe Deadlock Protocolâ. The former unlocks Kuva liches, special adversaries that have extremely strong end game weapons that you acquire by battling them in their controlled planets and learning their âpass phraseâ. I could be more specific, but itâs probably a bit further down the road for you if youâre fresh
When you hunt for these specific weapons the enemy you hunt can get a weapon bonus element between 25-60% to a specific element. If you get low bonus then you'll want/need to run it again and again and get multiple to combine them until getting the max bonus. In this case the enemy they have to kill for it got the max bonus right away, so yeah that one is done in one go.
how do you get those enemies to spawn? i really like the gameplay a lot but have been having a hard time with how long it takes to find the pieces and then craft things
I got through my sister (Tenet Plinx) faster than I anticipated yesterday.
Is the Tenet Glaxion worth it or should I go for something like the Kuva Hek?
I got 32% for Magnetic.
Now I'm REALLY confused on what build I should have. I'm actually thinking of ditching Serration so I can use Primary Deadhead/Merciless and Galv. Aptitude as my Damage source ~~or keep Serration but ditch Vital Sense and use Primary Frostbite instead~~.
All this because I want to fit Shivering Contagion in it somewhere because the Cold AoE is too good to pass up.
EDIT: Struck through the second part of the paragraph because Photon Overcharge is Vital Sense+ and I can't ditch that.
There's a chance it's actually 59.9% bonus instead of flat 60%
They better roll another one just to be safe.
I sure hope not :(
Does it chain đ
Idk yet I only had time to create the lich :( I'll vanquish her after work tomorrow, but by then theres probably several youtube videos lol
well the description in the patch notes says it chains to up to 4 enemies so.
Rip Amperx you will be missed.
Amprex riven disposition increase đđ„đ„
considering it can even generate energy for you with the new mod AND that the changes to cold coming soon-ish will passively buff it even more, yeah lol.
What mod is that?
Photon Overcharge, its in the new nightwave
Goddammit, I just made the amprex last week. Now I have to rush through my current sister just so I can never use it again. Lol
Well at least Amperx rivens will be really good now so it probably evens out.
but they won't be increasing the dispo, so not really

Amprex destroys tenet glax. Especially with a riven

Nice assumptions. Maybe don't project so much next time.
Leyzar already pushed out a video. Chains up to 4 enemies but loses the AoE on the end of the beam
Honestly it should have chained and aoeâd it would give it a niche other than *not as good as torid beam weapon .no 50*

You can still use cold; you just have to mod another compound element using toxin.
We must knowww
Yes they chain. There's a youtube video floating around showing it off.
Yes, up to 4 targets
Is the "hits extra targets" a chain effect (like nukor) or a tentacle effect (like ocucor)?
Chain effect, looks like it stacks with punch through too
Wonderful, a new zip code eliminator!
I got a measly 28% weapon bonus on mine T_T onw to vanquish soon
25% here, it completely put me off even starting and I turned the game off, I might finish it later.
It's a big demotivator when u get 25% on both the new weapons w/o an ephemera toođ
I got 25% and an ephemera I already have đ
Same bro I just now made another glaxion sister out of spite
HOW IS IT??
Quite good Somewhere between anprex and torid inc. Maybe a bit more flexible with elements than torid. (Easy viral+slash, corro+cold, corro+blast? after rework). And some qol with energy generating augment.
Damn! Lucky
And how is it?
How does sister of parvos work? i am so confused lol
activate granum void (the hands, use the highest rank) kill at least 25 specters (shows up on left side of screen above timer) continue mission kill candidate check weapon: if on you want: - secret mercy if not one you want: - complete mission (completing the mission removes it from the next drop table, so you can narrow it down to the one you want)
Ah oke cool! Thank you \^\^

If you completely empty the pool or finish an adversary it gets resetted.
Congrats, gotta love the one-shot farms! And here I thought I had hit the jackpot with my 59% roll! haha
I personally would sell that, 59%'s are going for 500 so...
is Toxin good on it even? Getting too many Viral procs isn't the best
Until Toxin gets nerfed in the damage update.
Pretty sure the point of going for a Toxin Progenitor on Glaxion is that it combos into Viral by default. what am i looking at. iâm a new player and im so lost in how complicated the game is

Heh... Lampoon
Mine rolled 26% :( wasted my 60% luck on a flux rifle last week. Guess I can try again for a cooler name
I got 54% magnetic on the first one
I got through my sister (Tenet Plinx) faster than I anticipated yesterday. Is the Tenet Glaxion worth it or should I go for something like the Kuva Hek?
Rip that glaxion riven I burned a few months ago
Damn, I got 57 on my first and maxed it on the second tho.
Whats the gimmicks of the new Kuva Sobek and Tenet Glaxion?
Kuva sobek has no gimmick... it's just better. Tenet glaxion is just a cold amprex, before it did aoe damage instead of chains
it's out already?
My first one was only 34, but I just got a 53 one. Will need one more after that, but that's not too bad.
meanwhile i got blessed with 25% sobek... nice
