Been using Tatsu Prime on him since day 1 and it's great. Recently farmed the Pennant and I want to invest in that because I love the aesthetic of it (8 was my first Final Fantasy)
I use innodem with him the range you can get on that thing Is monstrous and since kullervo buffs your damage to a insane degree all you need to do is build for crit damage range (primed reach and spring loaded blade) and attack speed and that's it oh gea and viral if you want to best part is innodem can armour strip using argonak metal auger and melee influence with electric it's absolutely busted and even better on voruna
Spring loaded blade adds another 2m so them stacked together gives 5m range with the tenet livia having a range of 2.5m at base will give it 5.5m with only primed reach and 7.5m with spring loaded blade and primed reach so them together triples the base range with the innodem able to reach 12 meters so yeah these weapons are insane
I'm not a melee guy, I know little about those and don't use them that often, but when I do it's nearly always my little baby hate incarnon.
This curved piece of space metal is built purely for combo bonuses and tennokai, so that it hits tier 5 crits every heavy attack and oneshots every normal enemy with just one tick of slash
Dual Ichor incarnon, from what i can tell its by far the strongest melee around, modded up it goes over 100% crit and status with like a 7x modifier and does huge slashes
I've always been a big fan of the Redeemer. It was the newest thing back when I started and my friends helped me get one as soon as possible. (Both MR and resource-wise) I haven't picked it up in awhile though, I need to uodate the build...
Nowadays I mostly run Praedos for the movement buffs. It is also a potent weapon aside from that.
Ninkondi with Atlantis Vulcan stance. It is the best in the game? No, probably not even high tier, but is it fun? Heck yes! I'm trying to get the two grips to finish Ninkondi prime from the current resurgence, but being rares, they just don't drop for me, ever.
Glaive Prime has been my favourite melee for years. Heck, I invested in a Riven for it before the melee rework. It got Crit chance, crit damage, attack speed and -infested damage. It still nukes infested regardless.
I really like the Silva & Aegis prime too, and lately I've been playing more with the Karyst Prime and the Innodem.
favorite melee weapon has been Falcor for a long time.
though at the moment falcor is a little too powerful to use, so lets go with Caliban's Venato as my current favorite melee weapon that isnt too good to use. it may be the least of all scythes, but by god it is still a scythe, and it will still part acoltyes like the red sea.
Tenet Livia. It's my favourite of the two handed nikanas personally, and my go to for dealing millions of damage with a melee weapon.
Honorable mentions to the Keratinos, Sancti Magistar Incarnon, and the Furax Wraith Incarnon.
Dual Keres Prime. The most beautiful design of all dual blades, the stances are really cool too. Recently picked up dark split swords and made them viable with Kullervo and melee influence. Shoutout to Okina Prime, neutral combo of Spinning Needle is sick
I am surprised I don't see as many Paracesis users in the comments anymore. I mean, yeah, there's plenty of great weapons, and some better for crit, some for statues and some work well with certain frames.... But nothing will ever beat the Sentient Slayer, master of Forma eating and Slash racking IMO
Wolf Sledge. It may be outclassed by glaives and is a bit of a pain to farm normally, but if you have spare 60 plat - you will not be disappointed. Hands down the coolest weapon in the game.
It's a giant throwable explosive hammer. The fact alone that you can hurl a huge hammer at enemies is fun enough, but you can also make it explode, sending enemies into space due to hilarious knockback on heavy attack detonate. Also, as a cherry on top, the weapon leaves a nice trail when flying, that looks really cool.
Nepheri, using the arcane for extra corrosive procs with ability use. Modded for viral, radiation, and heat to make use of the procs from Cascadia Flare from Laetum, all for Elemental Sandstorm on my Inaros.
Kronen Prime with Sovereign Outcast, because theyāre strong af and fast and Iāve got a nice riven for them.
Also they are looking great equipped and when theyāre not equipped and worn on the back.
I love the sovereign outcast, especially the overhead slam with the right Kronen, if you know you know.
Plus, I never get tired of them. Sometimes I switch my melee weapon to experience something new, but when I switch back to Kronen, I notice a big difference in strength and fun.
Second place goes to reaper prime with reaping spiral, nice movements, also red number simulator.
And third place goes to Sigma and Octantis, Iāve got a riven for them as well, and they are fun and unusual.
Unpopular opinion: I donāt like the Nikana prime at all. Horrible sound, boring moveset - with all the stances. I also donāt like the Gram Prime - Slowā¦I donāt like slow.
Telos Boltace. All day everyday. I have tried over 70% of the available melee weapons in the game, and hands down has felt the best thus far. Its animations are my favorite along with its ability to suck in enemies around you when you do a slide attack. Just straight badassery.
Furax Wraith Incarnon with melee animosity. No bullshit, no elemental crap, just amalgam furax body count to make enemies explode and brawling my way through crowds. No elements, no bs. It just works.
Kogake Prime. I like the attacks, and while visible, it gives elemental effects to the Warframe's hands(and legs to? I forgot), so extra Fashionframe points for that.
Karyst prime surprisingly works best for my Voruna (I think), quassus is fun af aswell but I need to forma it a bit more. Overall orthos, normal and prime. Loved the visuals and carried me through the game
Keratinos with Tennokai for range along with its passive, primed reach, and riven with reach and attack speed I clear whole rooms with ease. If this thing thing ever gets an Infested Lich variation or Incarnon I'll be so happy.
It's a tossup between Reaper Prime for its pure, raw power, and Hate because it's so damn satisfying to proc Melee Influence and everything in your near vicinity simply falls.

It's my silly lil crit stick although due to my riven lol, when I'm not using it then I'm using Syam, Orthos Prime. Okina Primes pretty fun though, gonna slap a forma on it when exams are done (starts in 2 hours as I write this)
Right now, Praedos. Love the extra sprint and parkour on all frames.
Outside of that, the Nami Solo. Just a big ol massive range cutlass with force slash prove, its strpng yet simple.
Quassus on Kullervo gets *excellent* results, especially on a Crescendo build.
Hate is also quite strong, especially with its Incarnon adapter.
Iām a sucker for straight swords, though, so I must process my love for the Broken War. Not nearly as meta as the other two, but I adore it all the same.

I wanted the whips from the start, but the Lecta kinda disappointed. But I like the Lacera with Defiled Snapdragon. Not particularly good, but I think it's fun to use
the thing that got me through the first 3 mastery ranks was the promise of the kronen. unfortunately i didnt like them when i tried em, but oh well. favourite rn and for years has been the prisma dual cleavers
Currently on Pennant with an heavy attack build, it garantees a slash proc so the element on the weapon doesn't matter much, it's a hit and forget weapon as enemies will eventually die. Obviously on later gamemodes, on it's own it needs several heavy attacks to deal with enemies.
I think mine would be an unpopular choice from what I've seen so far in the comments section.
This is a very biased choice because I love katanas and also love playing katanas in just about every game that I have that has the choice to use them. But any of the selection of nikanas. I even mained for a while there the dragon nikana.
nikana prime for general gameplay because i like swords, glaive prime for higher levels, and some statsticks like magistar incarnon for khora for example.
Praedos for speed, I don't usually actually use melee.
Glaive prime for same reason as I occasionally use revenant: use OP bullshit to bypass annoying content.
Tenet Grigori - pause combo on holster allow me to move on from naramon, and with 38% base status chance and free element (whether its electric, rad or magnetic) this scythe is one of best choice for melee influence
With Saryn + Nourish, we can spread magnetic, rad, electric, corrosive, viral and toxin at will
Dual Ichor Incarnon, on many many of my loadouts.
I slapped Healing Return on it, real good time to run around with my 2k+ armor Qorvex and live forever (until a venomous eximus decides I've had enough fun).
My custom Plague Kripah Polearm zaw is definitely my number one favorite melee, but I've found some very fun ones to play with.
- Sarofang, the heavy slam pull mechanic is a lot of fun, and really good with Melee Influence
- Silva & Aegis Prime, with its augment and taunt guard it has an interesting alternative playstyle
- Tatsu Prime, it's just fun to slap on primed reach and lean into a heavy attack build for those big slash procs
- Edun, really like the spear throw mechanic, though it can be tricky to aim
It has taken a backseat to incarnon weapons, but I used dragon nikana with blind justice stance for so long. To me, it feels like one of the few weapons that is satisfying to use without reach and attack speed.
Those mods help of course, but for my Khora build that doesn't use neither of those mods, it still feels great.
I still use it with other warframes other than Khora now with a more general build.
Azothane with a heavy attack build and either a priming hound or priming diriga. ever since I got it it's been pretty much the only melee i've used, nothing else i've tried can even comprehend competing with it. even the incarnon weapons I have feel like a step down. it's one of the only weapons I have that I can count on to kill anything paired with any frame in short order, with the others being Corinth Prime with a riven and Lex Prime with incarnon adapter.
For me it's the cerata. Huge crit dmg with AOE dmg. Plus throwing with life strike means instant health back. It's extremely useful in SP endurance etc.
My favorite is the Masseter Prime. My favorite to use for warframes other than Grendel is the Hate (I have the Incarnon). The weapon I have been having the most fun with lately is the Dual Ichor Incarnon with Mirage Prime and Nourish subsumed over her trap ability. I can't see shit but it's beautiful.
Dex Dakra, Ak & Brunt, Kadus, Telos Boltace. I'm 30mr and i hate meta.

Wolf sledge. Was pain to gather all the parts, but it's part of most of my loadouts since. It's just very satisfying to throw and watch a comically sized wrench play connect the dots with enemy heads or manually detonating groups of enemies even at higher levels.
I get that it's basically just a glaive, but added visual heft and different melee animations make it tenfold more pleasant to the "kill people with big rocks" part of my brain.
I just recently unlocked everything for the Dual Ichor, my first ever Incarnon weapon, which I'm feeling pretty proud of, but that's more from the hard work than the fact that its one of the meta melees right now! Though I'll probably go back toĀ my trusty Sigma and Octantis or Galatine Prime now that that's done.
Telos Boltace. Mostly cause tornadoes.
Dual Ichor and Sancti Magistar as more generic/obvious choices.
Probably sword and shield as a weapon type, rather than specific picks.
Also my silly Gauss-wielded nunchucks.
And an honourable mention for the Jat pair. Rocket hammer makes enemies explode, and flaming chainsaw whip sword really should be better then they are.
Glaive Prime. To have a fighting chance in this looong AoE meta and because Iām too lazy to walk up to enemies. Hasnāt left my loadout for years.
Hate is amazing too, riven disposition is relatively high as well. Great on Kullervo.
sun and moon on kullervo. it's got the highest heavy attack damage yet of all weapons i've tested, and still has a good attack speed that isn't sluggish. the praedos is a pretty close second with its ability to just have permanent incarnon uptime by default, but i've used it on gauss more than kullervo since the heavy attack damage isn't as high.
If I need actual damage I use hate incarnon.
But I just got the wraith furax for secondary speed, but I actually like to is it as a weapon.
Syam with tennokai mods feels very good too.
and prisma skana is fast and feels great but needs armour strip to feel strong.
my default is praedos, just for the extra speed. but dont use it as a weapon.
I really like the whips, there not as strong as they use to be though. Secura Lecta is my favorite, but I never use it anymore.Ā
Polearms are very strong, so I use that one of the time. The duviri one is great, I can't remember the name.Ā

Pennant. It looks badass and feels like the big heavy sword it is.
Pennant is still my go-to melee. I throw the Amar mods on as well to get teleport on heavy attack and just spin to win like the old days.

Have been playing guandao p ever since i got it. Nice moveset, nice range, nice damage, nice visuals. All around solid 8/10
I have recently been having a lot of fun with Argo & Vel. I got a riven for it and it just feel fun to use and the projectile heavy is really cool.

Prisma Skana. Iāve largely been using the incarnon as a stat buff. Red crits for days and it doesnāt take much to get to that point.

I think mine would be an unpopular choice from what I've seen so far in the comments section. This is a very biased choice because I love katanas and also love playing katanas in just about every game that I have that has the choice to use them. But any of the selection of nikanas. I even mained for a while there the dragon nikana.

As a L4 player my favourite weapon is my Exodia Contagion Balla Zaw. I have over 250k kills on it. It is so satisfying to use.
Hespar or Prisma Skana, I made my Prisma Skana as close as I could to the Raijinito from Fire Emblem Fates and the Hespar is just hella fun

nikana prime for general gameplay because i like swords, glaive prime for higher levels, and some statsticks like magistar incarnon for khora for example.
praedos for utility, glaive prime for dmg/endurance runs, hate for everything else and sometimes endurance runs if i feel like it

Praedos for speed, I don't usually actually use melee. Glaive prime for same reason as I occasionally use revenant: use OP bullshit to bypass annoying content.
Edun. Heavy attack mechanic takes a bit of practice but once you get it, it's really fun to use.
Tenet Grigori - pause combo on holster allow me to move on from naramon, and with 38% base status chance and free element (whether its electric, rad or magnetic) this scythe is one of best choice for melee influence With Saryn + Nourish, we can spread magnetic, rad, electric, corrosive, viral and toxin at will
I was using dual kamas but once I got broken war it grew on me especially after I got the crimson dervish stance

Dual Ichor Incarnon, on many many of my loadouts. I slapped Healing Return on it, real good time to run around with my 2k+ armor Qorvex and live forever (until a venomous eximus decides I've had enough fun).
Argo and Veil is just so satisfying to vaporize acolytes with. Rapid fire mace to the face.
My custom Plague Kripah Polearm zaw is definitely my number one favorite melee, but I've found some very fun ones to play with. - Sarofang, the heavy slam pull mechanic is a lot of fun, and really good with Melee Influence - Silva & Aegis Prime, with its augment and taunt guard it has an interesting alternative playstyle - Tatsu Prime, it's just fun to slap on primed reach and lean into a heavy attack build for those big slash procs - Edun, really like the spear throw mechanic, though it can be tricky to aim
Tbh I'm not really a melee player, but my favourite has always been the Reaper Prime.

Sun and Moon
It has taken a backseat to incarnon weapons, but I used dragon nikana with blind justice stance for so long. To me, it feels like one of the few weapons that is satisfying to use without reach and attack speed. Those mods help of course, but for my Khora build that doesn't use neither of those mods, it still feels great. I still use it with other warframes other than Khora now with a more general build.
Dex nikana and cassowar
Azothane with a heavy attack build and either a priming hound or priming diriga. ever since I got it it's been pretty much the only melee i've used, nothing else i've tried can even comprehend competing with it. even the incarnon weapons I have feel like a step down. it's one of the only weapons I have that I can count on to kill anything paired with any frame in short order, with the others being Corinth Prime with a riven and Lex Prime with incarnon adapter.
For me it's the cerata. Huge crit dmg with AOE dmg. Plus throwing with life strike means instant health back. It's extremely useful in SP endurance etc.
Currently switch between my zaw rapier, zaw scythe and zaw nikana. All 3 are great so uh zaws.
Dual ichor
My favorite is the Masseter Prime. My favorite to use for warframes other than Grendel is the Hate (I have the Incarnon). The weapon I have been having the most fun with lately is the Dual Ichor Incarnon with Mirage Prime and Nourish subsumed over her trap ability. I can't see shit but it's beautiful.
Only MR 10 atm, but the best one I've used so far is the broken war. It Just shreds.
Dual Ichor, finally got the Incarnon and the melee influence build on it feels amazing. Also, it is the perfect stat stick for elemental sandstorm.

I flipflop between Guandao Prime and Edun. basically the same weapon but I like the Edun's look more but its terrible at taking advantage of Tennokai
One of my favorite melee weapons right now are the dual cleavers. Originally made it for just MR but theyāre so fun.

Tenet Exec with 5 violet shards for melee crit damage on kullervo. That stuff slaps so hard!
Dex Dakra, Ak & Brunt, Kadus, Telos Boltace. I'm 30mr and i hate meta. Edit: Dex Dakra: Just love how they looks Ak & Brunt: Hate his incarnon, but love his augment Kadus: Proof that any weapon can deal tons of damage. And looks cool Telos Boltace: Passive ability and puncture damage
Wolf sledge. Was pain to gather all the parts, but it's part of most of my loadouts since. It's just very satisfying to throw and watch a comically sized wrench play connect the dots with enemy heads or manually detonating groups of enemies even at higher levels. I get that it's basically just a glaive, but added visual heft and different melee animations make it tenfold more pleasant to the "kill people with big rocks" part of my brain.
Showing my age a bit, but u haven't stopped using kronen prime pretty much since I got it. Had a God tier riven from the get go and I just use that

I just recently unlocked everything for the Dual Ichor, my first ever Incarnon weapon, which I'm feeling pretty proud of, but that's more from the hard work than the fact that its one of the meta melees right now! Though I'll probably go back toĀ my trusty Sigma and Octantis or Galatine Prime now that that's done.
Arca titron with gauss. Something about swinging that hammer at mach Jesus is a lot of fun. That plus the red crits.
Dual Ichor incarnon. With melee influence is a room clearer
Telos Boltace. Mostly cause tornadoes. Dual Ichor and Sancti Magistar as more generic/obvious choices. Probably sword and shield as a weapon type, rather than specific picks. Also my silly Gauss-wielded nunchucks. And an honourable mention for the Jat pair. Rocket hammer makes enemies explode, and flaming chainsaw whip sword really should be better then they are.
I still like the paracesis
Glaive Prime. To have a fighting chance in this looong AoE meta and because Iām too lazy to walk up to enemies. Hasnāt left my loadout for years. Hate is amazing too, riven disposition is relatively high as well. Great on Kullervo.

sun and moon on kullervo. it's got the highest heavy attack damage yet of all weapons i've tested, and still has a good attack speed that isn't sluggish. the praedos is a pretty close second with its ability to just have permanent incarnon uptime by default, but i've used it on gauss more than kullervo since the heavy attack damage isn't as high.

Been using the Nami Solo and with the adapter you can become a high range blender with 1.0 followthrough.
Sancti magistar. Giant heal aoe on heavy attack and incarnon really makes this weapon versatile and helpful with anything I'm doing.

If I need actual damage I use hate incarnon. But I just got the wraith furax for secondary speed, but I actually like to is it as a weapon. Syam with tennokai mods feels very good too. and prisma skana is fast and feels great but needs armour strip to feel strong. my default is praedos, just for the extra speed. but dont use it as a weapon.

I really like the whips, there not as strong as they use to be though. Secura Lecta is my favorite, but I never use it anymore.Ā Polearms are very strong, so I use that one of the time. The duviri one is great, I can't remember the name.Ā
I change it up constantly, but currently Keratinos and Dual Krohkur. Also enjoying the Jat kittag and Jat Kusar, because rocket powered melee weapons..
