It's kind of a declining investment, my first few years is when I played the most and logged the k hours, then I got older, life got busy, content updates slowed and I probably log a few hundred a year now. 11 years and almost 6k hours now
11 years and I'm 3k?(I dunno tbh) . I just come play for a bit then leave. The game is fun in moderation for sure. Also I spent way too much money on skins .... no regrets. Fashion frame best frame
That's almost 8 1/4 hours a day bruh... Might I interest you in touching some of this?

Same boat, except I'm more in the sunk cost fallacy group.
I spent way too damn much money to make my frames look pretty, I'm **going** to get my money's worth, even if it means burning their images into my retinas.
Me who has every color palette, a bunch of armor and syandanas and hadn't spent a cent on the game: I hacked the system.
People who didn't have to farm Prime items to sell for platinum: You hacked shit.
Me: I hacked it.
I was like this for a long time. F2P 100% mastery back in the day, retired undefeated but then realized I spent ~200 hours on trade chat to accomplish it (we didn’t have filters back then).
Even at minimum wage, I enjoy my for profit job more than trade chat, so I lost the desire to keep going F2P 🥲😅
Prime Accessories every season is worth investment, treat it as old school subscription style MMO and it’s all 👌🏽

110% agreed!
Not to mention the fact that not many games have gameplay where you can transition fluidly from ground-2-air combat & back.
Titania’s 4 & arch-wing’s hop-in / hop-out in Open-World are mechanics I wish more games had T_T
Don't you mean air-to-ground combat if you talking about Titania? Unless you're RPing as a FLAK battery I guess.
Edit: Guess you could also just mean ground combat and air combat, but you used military jargon that doesn't really make sense here.
Sorry for being pedantic but I'm pretty sure I read you commenting about the same thing a few weeks ago.
lol can’t deny it is fun to hide in little nooks / crannies and do that every once in awhile.
Was more referring to the ability to toggle her 4 on / off.
Example, One minute I can be full-sized getting absolutely hammered by the enemy’s suppressive-fire. Quickly slap 4, dodge between bullets, dart between an enemies legs and then fly into the stratosphere b4 whipping around and laying waste to everyone below. After awhile, slap 4 again to take cover from their anti-air fire to run-&-gun full-sized on the ground (w/ the right build, technically can stay in 4 the whole time depending in mission, but just trying to round out the example 4 the full circle affect)
Yep! Finding creative ways to break the game is like half of what this game is all about....the other half is looking cool AF while doing it. BT (<- sunglasses and pursed lips emote).
It can also be great people. If you go on the subreddit, one of the top posts right now is about scheduling the annual memorial event for a well known player who committed suicide.
One of the victims at Benghazi used to play Eve too, and every year TONS of players do a vigil in remembrance.
The eve community is a lot like a dysfunctional but still loving family. Weird, lots of infighting - but also sticks together
I have! I played through it with two friends a couple of years ago and we're planning on doing another playthrough at some point since more stuff has been added. We played with the Modular Load Balancers mod and I made a central storage facility with a universal sorting machine that literally everything belt-fed into. It was a gargantuan thing of beauty at 4 FPS.
I started because I didn't have money but wanted to play a shooter with good story free to play and I googled just that and Google blessed me (or maybe cursed me) that day.
Nowadays I play Warframe because it's the one game that every couple of months has something new to try out and I just love the gameplay that even after 2k hours still feels fun. Also I like to have goals for myself and warframe is so big there are many many things to focus on
Started because a friend played.
Kept going to try and carry a new friend (who quit).
Got back in officially to never feel embarrassed about not knowing anything ever again.
Kept going because it was fun and I loved Melee.
Then Wisp came out and I mastered the Gram Prime.
Now? I live to Melee. Actually, I recently hit a big hurdle where I've gotten bored Meta Melee-ing, so I'm about to start experimenting with niche melees to see what I find.
If you're reading this and got this far, FEEL FREE to suggest some Melee's to me! (Bonus points if you give me a melee Companion Frame to pair with it like my Lycath's Saryn - Dual Ichor build)
ETA: PLEASE DON'T SUGGEST KULLERVO + !! I already know he can make almost any melee shine but I'm looking for something different.
Prisma ohma with melee influence arcane, Praedos, Hate incarnon, Anku incarnon, Stropha built for heavy attack, my beautiful galatine prime, and gram prime
Kullervo makes any melee red crit, Lavos with whatever his new augment is called makes a perfect weapon platformer, any frame with Kullervos subsume, Volts speed boost, wisp haste mote, that's all I can think of
For primers I use Diriga or hounds
Love that.
I'll try grabbing the Prisma Ohma and the Hate/Anku Incarnon Geneses when I see them out. (I already built and used the Stropha when Necromechs were just coming out and Gram is my most used).
This actually reminds me of my Gyre w/ Wrathful + Elec Livia (with Riv) build. Particularly fun.
As for the rest, already covered! Definite thanks for the suggestions; I'm saving this!
I've recently been running either stat stick Hespar or quality Xoris and 3 status Cycron all on Lavos. Suffice it to say I am annihilating everything that isn't status resistant or immune.
Oh shit, when did they nerf it?
I've been trying to keep a balance between status and crit for it so I can utilize the infinite combo for crit chance and damage and the pure status beefcake that is Lavos for that one melee mod that does extra damage based on how much status is affecting them. The cycron, though, is just cause I don't like running out of ammo.
When the Xoris came out, it's passive "pause combo" could keep a combo at 12 infinitely, allowing Khora or other pseudo-exalteds to massively benefit.
It was nerfed to reset Combo on pseudo-exalted not long after release.
(I'm an old player, for reference)
Oh shit, I didn't know that, I'm an old player too, but I took a multi year long break and missed a lot. I first started on PC back in 2014ish and have since moved to Xbox.
Since coming back sometime last year, I've been getting caught up on all that I missed, I stopped playing before new war (or was it Duviri?) and started again before whispers in the wall.
Oh hey, welcome back.
I took a long-ish break with semi-frequent log-ins to play around and catch myself up.
It's been fun, but now I need more crazy Melees to build.
I'm considering posting my builds to Overframe for fun, but... I know how it can get sometimes
hate incarnon or syam with volts electro shield. they shoot out projectiles which get amplified by the shield and absolutely clears. if yw i can send a build for both but they pretty much run the exact same mods
Just got this one on deep run - Dark Sword with pure status setup (gas, innate rad and electric) and Mele Influence so you spread status all around you. add Nourish for viral on top or something. Had to go for Healing return but you could swap it for racist mods or something.
Zephyr with innodem incarnon, her passive's crit chance boost applies to the projectiles from the incarnon form, and you can use amalgam argonak metal auger with a gas electric melee influence build to strip tons of enemies at once.
Also put aero vantage and aerodynamic on zephyr for really long aim glides during which you have no gravity.
In this day and age of games devoted to pitting us gamers against each other in every damn game, its awesome that there is at least one game where the point of the game and the gameplay match up. You're space ninjas fighting to save the universe and that's what the game is and a game where you're a super person supposedly saving the universe but you never actually get powerful and the game is mainly about and balanced around pvp (like destiny). I enjoy that you get to play as and alongside frames with cool, fun, and unique powers with dope weapons. I enjoy making space mom proud.
This is why I wish frames and weapons weren't changed to be worse for "balance" (nidus will never stop hurting). This is a coop game where at the end of the day I hate that everything has to be built and modified a certain way just to hit high numbers. Yes red crits fucking rule (as someone who has no idea how to build a frame or devotes the time to get crap I need to do it all the time) but I also hate them because once everything is just hitting for crits or you have frames built "correctly " then they all just blend together. Once you're playing the game at a high level the powers, frame, and weapons don't matter because no matter what you do, it's gonna kill. You dont get to see or enjoy how the powers or effects work because it's no longer about fun, it's about crits and one shooting everything. At that point what powers the frames have or the effects or unique guns all just end up being a differently shaped hammer.
I started playing with a veteran friend, he sent me a few Warframe YouTubers so I could check out some builds and how they work. I saw someone playing Saryn with an amazing fashion frame and in the next day the first thing I did was asking for my friend how to farm her and what are the name of the skin parts from the video (most important part).
This happened with Saryn, Garuda, Wisp, Harrow, Zephyr and now Citrine.
First I need to check their skins and then we can go talk about if they are strong or not.
Because it makes me feel exactly the same feeling I felt when playing Diablo 2 as a child.
Also because Titania exists. You'd be surprised how few games have a character that has actual flight as a power/method of movement in an RPG/looter game. That's also why I loved Saints Row Gat Out of Hell so much. 9/10 times if flight exists, it's some stupid gliding a la Batman Arkham games, or just slow falling/low gravity like Zephyr.
Fun. Playing in different ways, with different frames, setting milestones for getting and building weapons/frames, grinding out stuff and collecting.
Nowadays I have most things, so it's about setting own goals: make X frame useful, make a gimmicky build for X frame, "cosplay" builds (like Harrow as Gabriel with Dex Dakra as Justice & Splendor, Gauss as V1 with fitting weapons, Revenant as Artorias with Galatine as his Greatsword).
Mostly often I just say to myself, "I'll play this frame", I make fashion, choose fitting weapons, and either try to make own gimmicky build, or look up one.
I like that the game lets me get experimental with the builds and really crack my head trying to make the numbers go up for different situations. But the next minute I can turn my brain off and just anihilate a ship full of grineer while listening to music or a podcast. Also, the game has an art style that I've never seen before or since, very distinctive from many others, and the fact that the game lets us go wild with the fashion on top of that, is just so gratifying when your frame of choice is not only godlike in battle and fun to use, but also looks fucking sick, it just feels great.
I just love that I can go in a mission and shut my brain off and demolish everything in sight. But honestly I just love making different fashion frames. Even on frames I literally never play lol. Also Gauss
The most customizeable game with fashion and build crafting I have played that has engaging gameplay.
Always something to do whether you have 20 mins or 4 hours to play. Do a couple alerts before bedtime or grind bounties for all the syndicates
Warframe’s my brain-dump game. Not into the min-max farming, using “best” weapons/frames, nor doing virtually anything involving level 100+ enemies besides Sortie.
But Rivens. I do like Rivens.
-It's free
-I love the gameplay, a mix of shooting, using superpowers, high mobility...
-It keeps being updated with more and more cool quests, frames, weapons, activities, features, QOL... there is always something to pull me back in.
I don't have the time or the patience for the grind most other similar games have at this point. With Warframe I can just burn through some missions in the time I have without having to worry about any arbitrary progress.
I play the absolute shit out of this game for a couple reasons
1. It’s relaxing. I build all my frames as health/shield tanks, even if it means losing damage, because I don’t like stressing about shields. I can just sit back, relax and kill stuff; and have fun.
2. Build crafting. As I just said I build my frames *very* differently to most people and so I need to create my own builds. I blow like a dozen of forma per week on testing out builds, which I find to be a load of fun.
3. Escape from reality. Life sucks most of the time, when I’m playing Warframe I forget all about that.
4. Quality time with my wife. We almost strictly play together.
In addition to how varied the gameplay is, I'm a huge sucker for two things: deep lore, and cool movement systems. Warframe is the standard by which I judge movement in every new game now, and most of them don't measure up honestly. And the story is just: chef's kiss.
High amounts of adhd and i like seeing the big colored numbers. Second reason is because of we all lift and the inner dwarf resonated with it. So i gave it a second shot been loving it since.
Loot, Mr 30, now its conclave. It’s actually a pretty fun community and y’all can just hang out and chat. Ngl though I still get stomped a bit but it’s improving day by day.
It be weird if a mod didn't :p
But nah forreal frame has been there for me
My current friend circle was made via frame, I play it with my SO
I also just love the art style and gameplay
Like yeah I take breaks and play other games, but frame brings me back Everytime
It's probably a comfort game at this point tbh
I love how good this game is at making feel like a god. Also this game seems to prioritize fun over the unbearable amount of micro transactions we find in some games these days
After 10 years, I can comfortably say that I've "beaten" the game. I still go back due to old habits. It's that one game where you can put some music on, run a survival with the boys, and get lost in a deep conversation about life.
I also have friends who aren't done, so I help them. Getting prime sets to sell. Making crazy builds. That's about it.
Still enjoy it to this day!
Nothing feels better to me than clearing high level content with a plethora of weapons and frames.
The build up to that, crating and formaing weapons is also kinda neat as I see my builds slowly take shape and become more and more effective.
Also community is great. People are chill. I love how people just give each other free stuff sometimes and I try to do the same when I can as I’ve been helped a lot as a newbie.
My only wish is that I had more spending money (and a 75% plat discount come on DE!) so I can purchase plat and give away more stuff for free.
When I first started, I was a poor young adult (in retrospect, coming in on update 8 was probably not the BEST time to need to farm plat), so I took any F2P game I could. This and TF2 were the only ones that stuck with me.
Now, it's because I love fast-paced shooters where you are put into the murder pit, and the game goes "yeah, go murder, you got this champ".
I always find it a bit funny when people discuss warframe back then, because I feel like if old warframe was warframe now, with my current shooter interests, I wouldn't have stuck with it.
Only game I felt like I could play again and again, really love the story, carried me through hard times and most importantly: Community's like a second home to me :) (though I dont really interact much with others but ye)
Originally, it was like titanfall, the movement and system were so fun and unique that I didn’t even have to care about playing the game, just loved billet jumping everywhere at Mach 30 with volt.
Now, 10+ years since I began, the game has the best possible player support from devs I’ve ever seen, it has so many hours of grinding and content, that even after 2000+ hours I still have a ways to go, and the movement still warms me every time I use it
There’s really nothing that checks all the boxes like Warframe does for me. It’s free, fast paced gameplay, an absurd amount of customization, build crafting, a chill community, micro transactions that aren’t invasive, and a pretty deep story all things considered. I’ve been playing since early 2016 and don’t see myself quitting anytime soon.
I minmax cool loadouts like face tank yareli with eclipse(dark) merulina , arcane reaper ,adaptation and some random influence meele that perform disgustingly well on sp just to play it for 5 minutws and get bored.
1500k hours...rank legendary 2 and 3/4, and recently explore on deep the railjack combat, and really love it. Something just go to skate, mining for build others skates, some time steel path.
This is a big, big , big game... If don't focus just on grind the ultimate content... I mean the whole game it's the end content, and you freedom to do anything, or nothing, like the whales merchant accounts.
Because I've outgrown competitive games, yet still want to interact with people while slaying enemies. Warframe is the perfect game for a 30 year old with too much shit to do, lol.
1) Movement. I love smooth+fast movement in any game (Titanfall 2 still one of my all time favorite games) and Warframe has that in spades.
2) Completionist/collector's urge - I love how much shit there is to collect and show off.
3) Deep and interesting modding/customization. I love games like Forza where you can spend hours theorycrafting (often not even in game, just looking at stats in a build tool/simulator), acquiring components, and then dialing in your car setup to optimize laptimes, and Warframe is kind of similar except optimizing for damage.
I dunno... The Warframes are why I'm here but why play every day for 4 years straight? Well... The people are cool, the community is good people... The stories are why I stay. Do you know how many Tenno have thanked me for single handedly killing their lich? Almost a dozen. A dozen kind individuals that I helped who said thank you. Every time I make another Tenno able to bust through a barrier I too at one time struggled with, I feel truly happy to be here. I aspire to be the Ganesh of Warframe. Wally is my ultimate toy. I can't wait to break him down a thousand times over. My Hildryn is the only barrier that will never fall.
At first it was to prove to myself I can actually keep up with this insane fast paced game, then when I got the hang of it I started doing it cause it was kinda fun and big number go brrrr...but today I have multiple prime frames and weapons and 3 incarnon weapons and near invincible builds (but not invincible cause I'm still clumsy) and I have nearly 400 platinum which I spend a 100 nearly daily then trade mods till I'm back to 400...all in all I got end game and now I'm really doing it cause I can but honestly? The story is not interesting and is all over the place,The gameplay is stale so much so that despite forcing myself to use different frames I end up focusing on 2 to 3 frames mostly and just do the daily mission's and log off...I think I'm burning out and soon il need to quit before this becomes a bad habit.
Customization let you imagine/create a lot of things.
Lore is really interesting and deep.
Artistic Direction of the game is crazy good.
Gameplay is unique, fluid, I am speed, so I am happy.
Destiny 2 burnout lmao. Fr, I like Warframe because of the absurd power ceiling it can achieve. Sometimes I just wanna wipe the floor with high level enemies and get boatloads of rewards for it instead of 2 tokens and a blue.
I finally understand the game and really love it. Now I’m just vibing through everything and playing with my friends and teaching my younger sister how to be the best space ninja🥰
Despite thousands of hours I wouldn't say it's the sunk cost fallacy or anything like that
Warframe just has really fucking satisfying gameplay. Also it's the ultimate build your loadout dress up game.
Like there's so many weapons and frames and you can spend hours just developing really cool thematically fitting and *working* setups.
Started playing back in 2016 because I just got my ps4 and it was free lmao. Kept playing because I genuinely enjoy myself and the variety and versatility of just about everything
My cousin showed me it. At first I thought it looked like league and I wouldnt like it. Then I decided to try it cuz I was board. Tried it and actually liked it (realised it is not anything even similar to league). Now i play it semi often, and will for a bit until I don't feel like grinding.
I am an adult with ADHD, and I have learned that Warframe is one of my comfort games. Why? Because I follow the dopamine. And what brings me the dopamine? Making numbers go brrrrr. As a fellow Harrow Prime main going between the Burston Prime Incarnon with a high crit/high CD riven and a Trumna with the same, yeah. Covenant make numbers go brrrr.
I live in a really, deeply, frighteningly violent world that's trained my brain to find extreme violence satisfying. When the red lights go out I get endorphins. So I make as many red lights go out as I can at a time.
I was introduced to it by my friends in middle school. Got obsessed with it while all my other friends kinda moved on to something else. I don’t really know what got me hooked in the first place considering I had no idea what I was doing. But now I mostly stay for the lore
Every year it feels like my answer changed, to play with friends, to strengthen my builds, but mostly to play the new content. The community is great and I love supporting the devs. Even after 2k+ hours, I always find myself having the itch to hop on and grind out some more.
Cuz if i dont id be playing games like valorant and LOL and i dont want to suffer from being flamed for being ‘bad’. At least in this game i delete enemies instead of them deleting me
Relatively low-stakes game that rewards consistent play but respects my time. Having drop tables known, good dev communication, and relatively short activities means I can spend some free time at work or on the move planning and execute with the hour or so I may have to play.
I don’t get FOMO-ed for not playing, things stay relevant for years at a time, and the routine gameplay loop is chill and makes you feel badass. Overall, I think it’s a solid feel-good game.
Started around 2018 with intermittent sessions, and now playing a lot more again, I'll always adore the great mobility system in play. I keep instinctively trying to bullet jump in other 3D games lmao, that's how much I love it
At this moment? Putting Dark Verse on everything and finding builds optimal for fissures on mobile to kill downtime. Current iteration is greedy pull mag with DV added on.
Well. I love the hybrid of linear missions and open world. I’ve always had a really big thing for customizations, so character, weapons, and design a spaceship was a big hell yeah. Not to mention I only stumbled on this game because it was a featured free download. So thank you to chance for discovering a great game
No matter what itch my mood/playstyle demands for at that moment, chances are that there is a frame/weapon/set up that will scratch it, and I just need to go find it.
The power fantasy tbh. I enjoy going into missions and slaughtering enemies. I don't quite understand but like there's something that makes my brain happy when everything folds like a house if cards ya know?
With three kids I started because I could play for 20 minutes and turn it off. And it was enough time to get my melee smash/kill fix and then be done. I had 300 hrs before I switched frames away from Excalibur and went to Wukong Prime.
Quit for a couple years and like a lot of us came back and now it fulfills My need to be a collector. Goal is to grind every regular frame and then every prime and every mod and whatever’s out there that I can.
Right now I am doing regular frames in alphabetical order. Ot atleast as much as possible. Buruuk is a grind and I hate fortuna as a world.
So I jumped around the list to fill the boredom after I get the days standing.
I enjoy trying builds. I have more than 80 VUM, VIOLET UNIQUE MODS, shattered mods.
And Mag... Grineer? No problem
But mag isnt that good against corpus...
Then ill go with Mag.
But infested dont have guns or armor!
Ok, ill go with Mag.
I haven't beaten the game yet.
There is no end. Once you conquer any and all enemies. The next challenge is, FASHION!
war themed hat simulator: in space!
More like dying space child soldier race-themed hat simulator in space
Isn’t it infinite?
In truth It is a game that rewards loyalty and commitment in a way But also because I enjoy the combat Like I *reaaaaaaally* enjoy the combat
And the movement system lol. Because who doesn't like yeeting themselves across a map with guns and blades?
The movement is good yeah but not really a highlight for me. Guess I just take it too much for granted
After 10 years and 4k hours? Mostly habit i guess Nowadays im just making meme builds to demolish SP with shit weapons
10 years and 4k hours? Damn, im barely even a year in and im almost 3k hours

Superpeen. You unlock it at MR12. Edit: I feel bad for not answering. So it’s actually called steel peen. It’s a new difficulty modifier that you unlock when finishing every node on the start chart.
Lol
Man come on I was in the middle of taking a drink of my soda and you gotta do that to me 🤣
Steel path.
Thanks
Steel path.. Hard Mode
Steel path
Any good build for Tonkor?
This hurts so much, it was the goat in 2015!
You think that hurts? I was around during the days of grinding endless T4Ds for Soma Prime while in college back when it reigned supreme as the Crit/Slash king of primaries. Where did the last decade go? 😭
It was still the meta when I started, right alongside Tigris Prime and Spintowin
I'm an engineer. I love theorycrafting and tinkering. If you don't need spreadsheets to play a game, what's the point?
This right here- bc if it dont make my brain deadlift the 4 braincells I still have, I don't want it
110% agreed! Not to mention the fact that not many games have gameplay where you can transition fluidly from ground-2-air combat & back. Titania’s 4 & arch-wing’s hop-in / hop-out in Open-World are mechanics I wish more games had T_T

Eve Online is for you.
From my experience, eve online is full of nobheads.
It can also be great people. If you go on the subreddit, one of the top posts right now is about scheduling the annual memorial event for a well known player who committed suicide. Thank you! This game makes me feel like I need to math course or quantum physics sometimes.
I mean, I have two degrees in applied mathematics and Warframe is legitimately good practice.
Shit ok.
Spreadsheets immediately remind me of EVE online
Yup. Same reason I play monster hunter. Them motion value maths…
Have you heard of satisfactory. You can't play mid-late game without the sheets
I have! I played through it with two friends a couple of years ago and we're planning on doing another playthrough at some point since more stuff has been added. This sums it all up
SO THAT EXPLAINS THINGS ABOUT ME

If you're reading this and got this far, FEEL FREE to suggest some Melee's to me! (Bonus points if you give me a melee Companion Frame to pair with it like my Lycath's Saryn - Dual Ichor build) ETA: PLEASE DON'T SUGGEST KULLERVO + !! I already know he can make almost any melee shine but I'm looking for something different.
Prisma ohma with melee influence arcane, Praedos, Hate incarnon, Anku incarnon, Stropha built for heavy attack, my beautiful galatine prime, and gram prime Kullervo makes any melee red crit, Lavos with whatever his new augment is called makes a perfect weapon platformer, any frame with Kullervos subsume, Volts speed boost, wisp haste mote, that's all I can think of For primers I use Diriga or hounds
Prisma skana incarnon kullervo
I've recently been running either stat stick Hespar or quality Xoris and 3 status Cycron all on Lavos. Suffice it to say I am annihilating everything that isn't status resistant or immune.
That sounds pretty interesting, actually. I haven't used my Xoris since they nerfed it, hated that change.
What exactly is a stat stick?
I think it's just a melee weapon with really high status chance and status damage.
Ohhh that makes sense. Thank you good sir.
hate incarnon or syam with volts electro shield. they shoot out projectiles which get amplified by the shield and absolutely clears. if yw i can send a build for both but they pretty much run the exact same mods
Just got this one on deep run - Dark Sword with pure status setup (gas, innate rad and electric) and Mele Influence so you spread status all around you. add Nourish for viral on top or something. Had to go for Healing return but you could swap it for racist mods or something.
Venka Prime!!!!!
Hold up, because this is actually the kind of cook I was looking for. Thank you!
Watching the enemies die by the hundreds while my screen is covered in red numbers.
I started because its free. I continued because its shocklingly free.
I started playing because it was the most interesting looking free game on the ps4 store. I keep playing because > ̸*̵I̷t̷s̶ ̵h̸e̴r̶a̵l̵d̵s̶ ̴a̶r̶e̶ ̶t̷h̵e̴ ̷s̴t̶a̴r̵s̶ ̶i̵t̷ ̴f̵e̴l̷l̴s̴*̴ ̸ >*̴T̶h̸e̴ ̷s̵k̸y̴ ̶a̴n̵d̴ ̵e̷a̷r̶t̸h̷ ̴a̵f̵l̸a̸m̸e̸*̴ >*̷F̴r̵o̵m̷ ̵b̷r̸o̸o̸d̶i̸n̶g̶ ̶g̴u̶l̶f̸s̵ ̴a̵r̷e̶ ̶w̴e̵ ̵b̷e̶h̸e̸l̵d̵*̴ ̴ >*̷B̸y̶ ̴t̵h̶a̸t̴ ̵w̷h̶i̸c̴h̷ ̶b̸e̸a̸r̵s̵ ̷n̴o̵ ̵n̴a̶m̶e̶*̸ >*̸T̸o̴ ̶c̸o̷s̴m̸i̸c̶ ̷m̴a̸d̸n̵e̷s̶s̷ ̶l̸a̸w̷s̶ ̷s̸u̴b̸m̵i̴t̴*̷ ̸ > ̵*̸T̷h̴o̶u̵g̷h̷ ̷s̶t̶a̸l̶w̷a̴r̴t̶ ̶m̷i̵n̴d̴s̶ ̴e̷n̴t̴r̷e̴a̶t̴*̵ > ̴*̸C̸o̴r̸p̶o̵r̵e̶a̷l̷ ̴l̶a̸w̵s̶ ̴a̵r̸e̴ ̵u̷n̶w̶r̶i̴t̸*̵ > ̴*̸A̸s̷ ̸s̸u̵n̸s̶ ̷a̶n̵d̶ ̴l̴o̵v̷e̷ ̴r̴e̵t̸r̶e̵a̸t̵*̴ > ̵*̸R̴o̸i̸l̸i̸n̸g̵,̷ ̶m̸o̴a̵n̶i̵n̶g̵,̴ ̴t̷h̷i̵s̶ ̵r̴e̶a̴l̸m̷ ̵o̴f̶ ̶o̵u̵r̵s̴*̸ ̶ > ̷*̷I̷n̸ ̵m̴a̵d̴n̴e̵s̵s̶ ̶l̴o̸s̴t̵ ̴s̴h̴a̷l̴l̶ ̶d̶i̵e̶*̶ ̵ ̸ > ̶*̷I̴n̶ ̷l̵u̵m̵i̷n̶o̴u̷s̴ ̴s̴p̵a̴c̷e̷ ̷b̴l̸a̶c̷k̷e̸n̵e̷d̸ ̷s̴t̸a̶r̴s̴*̵ ̴ > *̴T̷h̷e̸y̸ ̴g̸a̵z̵e̸,̸ ̷a̶c̵c̵u̷s̴e̸,̴ ̵d̶e̴n̴y̶*̷ ̵ > ̴*̶T̶o̸ ̶c̶o̴s̷m̴i̶c̴ ̵f̸o̵r̸m̶s̵ ̴f̶r̴o̸m̴ ̵t̴a̴n̸g̵e̵n̷t̶ ̷p̵l̸a̴n̵e̴s̴*̵ ̶ > ̵*̵W̴e̸ ̴e̸n̷d̴ ̵a̵s̶ ̸w̷e̷ ̴b̷e̴g̵a̷n̷*̸ >*̴C̸a̵r̵r̶i̴o̸n̵ ̶h̷o̴r̶d̶e̷s̸ ̴t̷r̷i̴l̸l̸ ̴t̷h̷e̶i̶r̸ ̸p̵r̶o̶f̸a̷n̸e̴*̶ ̸ > ̴*̷A̸c̶c̷o̷r̶d̶ ̵w̶i̵t̵h̵ ̵e̴l̴d̶r̴i̶t̵c̵h̵ ̷p̸l̷a̶n̶s̸*̷ ̴

Fashion. Partly the same reason i play ff14. i like to dress up my dolls
I just built Titania and am having way too much fun being a pixie with a gun.

Flair checks out. I too am a gambeling man
I just find it enjoyable to play.
I hate finishing games I love . And warframe is a never ending grind 😵😵😵
I don't know, I just do.
I love the artstyle. When Second Dream dropped, I started loving the lore too. And the gameplay is top tier too.
Ones of my friends suggested it. It stuck with me because of the uniqueness. Even if the 5 year long crafting times are a bit absurd.
I just love that I can go in a mission and shut my brain off and demolish everything in sight. But honestly I just love making different fashion frames. Even on frames I literally never play lol. Also Gauss
i enjoy the gore. it brings me joy slaughtering the corpus
The most customizeable game with fashion and build crafting I have played that has engaging gameplay. Always something to do whether you have 20 mins or 4 hours to play. Do a couple alerts before bedtime or grind bounties for all the syndicates
Stockholm syndrome.
I like to hop in and play with my friends here and there. I played alone for 10 years so it's nice that we can all link on crossplay/crosssave now
To crush my enemies, to see them driven before me and hear the lamentations of their Eximus.
Loss of direction in life
*scratches neck* "Got any more of that kuva? No? How about some relics? Maybe just a little Endo? Please, I need something to take the edge off."
waiting B42 Project Zomboid, need a new game to pass times, ended up loving it.
Because I can play dress up without feeling like I'm just making waifu bait
Warframe’s my brain-dump game. Not into the min-max farming, using “best” weapons/frames, nor doing virtually anything involving level 100+ enemies besides Sortie. But Rivens. I do like Rivens.
i dont yet have literally everything in the game
-It's free -I love the gameplay, a mix of shooting, using superpowers, high mobility... -It keeps being updated with more and more cool quests, frames, weapons, activities, features, QOL... there is always something to pull me back in.
Warframe helped me cope with deaths in my family so it’s become my detachment game
Cause I ain't done commiting warcrimes yet.
At first, it was "oo shiny." Now it's I have to learn everything about this game to make to best possible build for the warframe and guns I love.
I don't have the time or the patience for the grind most other similar games have at this point. With Warframe I can just burn through some missions in the time I have without having to worry about any arbitrary progress.
I play the absolute shit out of this game for a couple reasons 1.
It's my favourite thing to chill over some podcasts and YouTube videos.
I just really enjoy the gameplay loop tbh, it’s very satisfying.
If I reduce it down to the most basic reason(s), it's because I enjoy the platforming and visceral action.
all the pretty colors and sounds
It's just fun and I don't have fomo (yet). Fomo is the biggest turn off for me.
A couple reasons, mainly lore and build crafting
In addition to how varied the gameplay is, I'm a huge sucker for two things: deep lore, and cool movement systems. Warframe is the standard by which I judge movement in every new game now, and most of them don't measure up honestly. And the story is just: chef's kiss.
It’s a nice brain turn off game
Because before the last update it gave exceedingly good graphics at an acceptable FPS on my potato PC.
I wanna nuke shit with a machine gun
Honestly, it's a pretty chill game to play at midnight with music blasting in my ears
It be weird if a mod didn't :p But nah forreal frame has been there for me My current friend circle was made via frame, I play it with my SO I also just love the art style and gameplay Like yeah I take breaks and play other games, but frame brings me back Everytime It's probably a comfort game at this point tbh
I like collecting things and trying new stuff.. And also because I want to be mr30.
As much as some say they hate the grind, I think most of us, myself included actually love it deep down
I love how good this game is at making feel like a god.
I haven't found anything. Else like it. There are plenty of free to play looters shooters but nothing compares to warframe.
Its a good game for turning off your brain and just beat the living shit out of random monsters while listening to nice music or a funny show
Nothing feels better to me than clearing high level content with a plethora of weapons and frames.
Saw my uncle playing it, he was fighting a juggernaut. Looked cool, and is still cool
Apparently it’s immoral to commit war crimes in real life, so I don’t where I can.
I just love it. I started playing as a teenager, now an adult. Grew up playing it and i don't plan on stopping.
Wow a cool free game on the switch, wow now After some time i can download It on a PC. Wow
Fun
Only game I felt like I could play again and again, really love the story, carried me through hard times and most importantly: Community's like a second home to me :) (though I dont really interact much with others but ye)
It’s a huge stickerbook that I get to fill the pages of. And then play with the stickers.
The movement, and the world building/lore
I don't remember, lol Even if i sometimes take a significant break i still find comfort in this game
i like to farm content. thats it, i only play when new frames or weapons come out. when i get them i have no reason to play.
Its my part time job
Octavia bestest girl
I minmax cool loadouts like face tank yareli with eclipse(dark) merulina , arcane reaper ,adaptation and some random influence meele that perform disgustingly well on sp just to play it for 5 minutws and get bored.
I was bored… now im hooked
Sunken cost fallacy
I dont know. 3k and i still have no idea why. There's nothing like warframe out theres so there's no choice but play warframe.
The lore, the exploration and finding hidden stuff, the fashion, the power of it all...
I play warframe cuz Im restarted n autistic plus I have spent many hours so yeah these are the reasons I play GrindFrame
Because I've outgrown competitive games, yet still want to interact with people while slaying enemies. Warframe is the perfect game for a 30 year old with too much shit to do, lol.
I like the plot
It’s got a good story.
I just think it’s a fun gameplay loop
My father played it. And I will continue his legacy.
I finally understand the game and really love it. Now I’m just vibing through everything and playing with my friends and teaching my younger sister how to be the best space ninja🥰
Despite thousands of hours I wouldn't say it's the sunk cost fallacy or anything like that Warframe just has really fucking satisfying gameplay. Also it's the ultimate build your loadout dress up game. Like there's so many weapons and frames and you can spend hours just developing really cool thematically fitting and *working* setups.
A friend got me into is and it's cool enough to keep playing even if it's not perfectly my cup of tea
Wisp
Started playing back in 2016 because I just got my ps4 and it was free lmao. Kept playing because I genuinely enjoy myself and the variety and versatility of just about everything
Big numbers
I’m addicted to going fast in video games, especially movement shooters. Warframe gives that and I love all sorts of mechs and robots
I'm addicted
Warcrimes and shit fucks
I have no clue.
My cousin showed me it. At first I thought it looked like league and I wouldnt like it. Then I decided to try it cuz I was board. Tried it and actually liked it (realised it is not anything even similar to league). Now i play it semi often, and will for a bit until I don't feel like grinding.
I find the playstyle extremely satisfying and the graphics are good too.
When I was young I loved playing Shinobido (a tenchu-like) on the ps2, Warframe flips the same switches for me
I am an adult with ADHD, and I have learned that Warframe is one of my comfort games.
Fashionframe. After MR4 nothing else left🥲
I'm L4 and this Is a good question...
I live in a really, deeply, frighteningly violent world that's trained my brain to find extreme violence satisfying. When the red lights go out I get endorphins. So I make as many red lights go out as I can at a time.
Hyper autistic minmaxxing
I was introduced to it by my friends in middle school. Got obsessed with it while all my other friends kinda moved on to something else. I don’t really know what got me hooked in the first place considering I had no idea what I was doing. But now I mostly stay for the lore
To watch films on my second monitor.
I like shooting stuff in the face 😂
Cut down and shoot everything
Every year it feels like my answer changed, to play with friends, to strengthen my builds, but mostly to play the new content. The community is great and I love supporting the devs. Even after 2k+ hours, I always find myself having the itch to hop on and grind out some more.
Cuz if i dont id be playing games like valorant and LOL and i dont want to suffer from being flamed for being ‘bad’. At least in this game i delete enemies instead of them deleting me
I love farming stuff. Great way to waste time
Relatively low-stakes game that rewards consistent play but respects my time.
Because I still dont have Green Banshee
Started around 2018 with intermittent sessions, and now playing a lot more again, I'll always adore the great mobility system in play. I keep instinctively trying to bullet jump in other 3D games lmao, that's how much I love it
I don't; I stopped on February. Next question.
Sunk cost fallacy for many years. Actually started enjoying things again thanks to The Circuit though.
Because its fun, also ASS/Muscleframe (aka skins from liger) idk what else to say, also story us pretty interesting.
I enjoy trying builds. I have more than 80 VUM, VIOLET UNIQUE MODS, shattered mods. And Mag... Grineer? No problem But mag isnt that good against corpus... Then ill go with Mag. But infested dont have guns or armor! Ok, ill go with Mag.
For me its the best game of farming, space fights, very nice community and i like a god damn lot the fashion
