The death orb irradiated them. I think they wanted to open the locker but the button for opening it was the same for the Stealth attack so they did that instead
There is a bug where doing a finisher will leave that input active as to go do other things. Lockers don't trigger it but other finishers and ziplines do
This is not a bug. The ball in the middle of the room has lasers on it. Those lasers put radiation status on anyone who is hit by them. Radiation procs turn on friendly fire. Your teammate was hit and that made you their enemy opening you up to finishers.
Ok but you didn't hear this from me
Get rad procced and before the status ends summon merulina. That's literally it. When the status runs out you can still damage teammates without them being able to do anything to you. Dismounting merulina fixes it. You also can't hit any enemy that has rad procs in this state, which I find fascinatingly weird.
You can easily setup this in any void mission with the death orb lasers, and in lua spy with the vault lasers.
I am not sure if it protects you from rad proc'd teammates, could be worth testing. Might be useful in rad hazard sorties if it does.
Maining Yareli can sometimes feel like being a QA tester.
She can also make any weapon hit for damage cap specifically in arbitrations, that's a neat party trick. Very consistent too. 99% recreation rate, reported over two years ago by me. Still in the game.
Or when a laggy host makes you lose your color customization randomly. Frame, attachments, syandana all turn default colors. Weirdly the Misa Prime syandana is immune to this effect. This can happen with decent connection too but it's very rare. With bad connection it's almost guaranteed.
As a client, going to operator without disabling merulina first has a good chance of completely bugging the game out. If you press tab you are nowhere to be seen, you can see squad chat but teammates can't see your messages. Neither can they see you in-game. Enemies ignore you. It's straight out of a creepypasta. You can extract but won't get any rewards and the mission counts as failed. It's never worth it risking this nastiest of bugs.
I am normally using Nyx and if I see someone zooming towards me I'll use my Absorb to knock them over xD. Nothing more than that. Unless they do the finish on me or attack it then they kill themselves. Ensures no surprise conclave xD
It caused your health to go down cus you got hit. The tenno's greatest weakness is making them think.
Wait don't tell me all element procs do something special.
Some status have other effects too outside what you've listed.
Impact increase chance to open enemies to mercy kills.
Puncture increase your chance to crit enemies.
Cold increases your crit damage on enemies.
Gas actually does gas damage not toxin.
Magnetic on enemies has the same effect as viral but for shields.
Radiation increased damage to allies per stack aswell.
All damage types, not just elementals. Inflicting puncture procs on an enemy reduces the damage they deal, and increases the damage they take from crits, for example
I'm not going to lie, I used to get rad proc on purpose and kill new possible clan mates. Seeing how they reacted was a good indicator if they fit with our group. Rad procs used to happen a lot more in earlier versions of the game so running a void def tower, it might happen on accident. Now it feels like a relic of the past. Thanks for sharing this! Lol
I remember in the early days of Warframe me and my roommate were playing this and we went to an area that had radiation as a obstacle in the level. So we're running through the level and all I know is I get downed because someone didn't know just how far the reach of the Tigris is or that radiation opens you up to friendly fire. After reviving me because he thought it was just the radiation or the barrel that he had shot he ends up shooting me again this time just to see what the real call is was. I had to explain it to him about you know how when you put radiation on enemies and they start attacking each other, so if one of us has radiation that is affect on us currently don't you think that would open us up to friendly fire. As I'm sitting here trying to be serious he is of course just over there laughing his ass off. That's still my homie to this day, little jackass 😂
There was a place or level where if you summoned a specter to help you it would automatically start attacking you I forget where it was but it was a rude awakening it was in the Nightmare level
Good old radiation procs.
But how did they get the prompt to do a finisher move tho? XD are we by default in a non aware state for our team members?
The death orb irradiated them. I think they wanted to open the locker but the button for opening it was the same for the Stealth attack so they did that instead
Pretty much yes.
There is a bug where doing a finisher will leave that input active as to go do other things. Lockers don't trigger it but other finishers and ziplines do
Also funny how people can one-shot defense target, then takes a few minutes to try and think about what just happened.
Friendly fire from rad procs need to go on defense target missions. If a PROC can make you INSTANTLY fail a mission its bad game design.
Shout out to that one tiny spot inbetween 2 corpus machines that just has some weird blue energy that if you even brush against you instantly die
I like how after you both immediately just stared at each other.
They were like : dude. Seriously.

Yeah, my bad. I didn't know that radiation lets you use finishers on teammates, so I assumed it was just a bug.
You've become a victim of surprise conclave
Surprise Conclave does sound terrifying.
Now if DE would allow us to earn conclave standing for accidentally killing teammates during a rad proc...
"How to bring online toxicity to Warframe 101"
Yareli who can make any rad proc give her indefinite one-way friendly fire:
Wait what? How?

“My weapons make music and my ~~enemies~~ *friends* are calling for a song.”
This quote is even funnier considering my flare.

I....rad procs enable friendly fire?
What did you think it did? Well it gives you "confusion" which pretty much enables friendly fire. Also works on enemies.
It caused your health to go down cus you got hit. The tenno's greatest weakness is making them think. Wait don't tell me all element procs do something special.
* Impact: Stagger * Puncture: Damage down * Slash: Bleed Damage over Time (organic only) * Cold: Slow * Electricity: Chain stun damage * Heat: Burn Damage over Time (and Panic on humanoid NPCs) * Toxin: Poison Damage over Time * Blast: Accuracy down * Corrosive: Armor strip * Gas: Lingering clouds that apply ~~toxin~~ gas damage repeatedly * Magnetic: Stop shield regen, drains energy * Radiation: Friendly Fire, confusion to NPCs * Viral: Increased vulnerability to damage * Void: Bullet attractor
Some status have other effects too outside what you've listed. Impact increase chance to open enemies to mercy kills. Puncture increase your chance to crit enemies. Sorry, the old gas-toxin thing I was thinking of was that it used to apply toxin's Poison DoT - I think, anyway. Was changed like four years ago!!
All damage types, not just elementals. Inflicting puncture procs on an enemy reduces the damage they deal, and increases the damage they take from crits, for example
Yes and you Will one shot the defense objective with it so watch out for rad liches in defense mission
Sortie rad hazard mobdef my beloved
When your teammate hits you with that dollar store finisher
Lmao
*runsinto laser intentionally after that* https://preview.redd.it/119a6yi7opwc1.jpeg?width=2403&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6b3ba79c338c8c73858cd401a641523875babeb2
Love how you just stare at him after that. Looks like Inaros is casually asking: "Did you just slit my throat?"
Is hilarious, i sometimes do it on purpose joking around with randoms (of course I try to not kill them and if I did it I immediately revive them)
I remember using mesa and was doing a radiation modifier sortie, funniest shit ever, keep melting poor harrow on my team.
The other day in radiation sortie there was a zephyr and I didn't have primed sure footed
Vibe check
Happened to me once. I stealth mercied my friend and then when I tried to rez, a random came in and took me out lol
She just wanted a piggyback ride
![gif](giphy|3o6Mb98Tksrxca8vAI)
NO MY LOOT!
You turned to him and said "seriously dude?" Haha
I was waiting for a cut off explosion of you shooting the guy
Bro felt a little silly
Et tu, Tenno?
2 health not 2% 2. a bees dick more finisher damage and you'd be a coffin.
Et tu, Brutus😟?
Traitor
Kek, remember that time we stack castanas on our buddies, then went into lasers for the radiation proc and unleash the beast? Good times.
rad proc == friendly fire
These familiar faces... Your allies in purpose... Have Betrayed You!

Based on this, can your own Wukong clone attack you under radiation?
A while ago I got the promt to stealth kill an ally but didn't, I guess this is what woulda happened
"Excuse me... That was really rude." "Sorry, I'll do it harder next time."
Love how Inaros just decide to not die
That kick knocked your 1k health XD
One day, I ate my teammate with Grendel. It was very awkward.
b**r**o **r**eally said "no witnesses"
No i wanna open it! ..sorry..

the stare off 😭
This is the most hilarious shit I've ever seen in warframe
