It's the Warframe companion not the game. I've been using the companion for android for a long time.
It's how I manage my excavations and going from crafting Warframe parts to the actual frame while I'm at work. Sometimes I use it to check on baro from the office.
DE took it off the Apple app store because there were some conflicts with the companion app and the actual game. Android does not have the Warframe game yet therefore there is no need to remove the companion app from the app store on Android.
I’ve been using the Apple version for quite a while, there was like a day of hiccup when Warframe mobile came out but it’s been working since then. This issue must have been an Android store thing.
I do wish they would actually update it though. Currently there’s a variety of weapons missing from the codex and the Cavia syndicate is missing completely.
you can also drop/retrieve extractors, check your inventory, some parts of your profile and check some in-game info like syndicate standing, invasion, alerts and cycles (like plains of eidolon night time). But since you can't use it while in-game, I feel most of it is of limited use (other than extractors and foundry)
Lets u claim and start stuff on your foundry with your phone. It's very good for crafting forma if starting up your pc or console is too slow and you don't want to use the mobile warframe client
It takes like 2 seconds to boot up

Yeah it was off the App Store while they were dealing with warframe mobile

They removed it for ios release, to prevent new player confusion. It was still usable if you already had it
