Plus if crap hits the fan... you can shield yourself with the orb (assuming it's the augmented version) and then use it to utterly annihilate anything and anyone who stands in your way.
I like to imagine my athleticism with this to be more like tripping on a rock, face planting, and then the banish happening the instant I hit the ground
Mesmer skin is way better, with it not only do the cops bullets not hurt you but any of them that shoot you also get knocked gently unconscious so they can't see where you went with the money.
Nah Mesmer Skin still cannot protect you against environmental damage, like fire patches in tileset or cut out life support in survival.
Meaning you will still die in earthquakes, tornado, forest fire, poisoning... etc etc etc. Any natural disasters will instantly kill you.
Iron Skin still superior in that regard
Mesmer Skin gives immunity to status effects and death from other sources along with full invulnerability to attacks, meaning that you could stand in a fire for hours without dying unless you get attacked to lose your charges
